Parasol Benidorm review: sell bars with no licence and no business 66

I can confirm everything said here is 100% true, we bought a bar from these very nice people, the bar we bought which came with a licence in fact had no licence, no architects report, sanidad had not been near the place and to cop it all we paid 10 times what we should have paid as if we had contacted the agent who was dealing with the rental all we would have paid would have been 3 months rental, this is a very common practice, if you see se aquillier in the window, take phone number and run like hell, beware beware beware!

We also had the same problems with PAULA of parasol, she sold us a Bar, that was supposed to be licensed and passed by environmental health (sanidad), Then we found out the electrics were out of date as well, this cost us another 15000 euros to upgrade, this was on top of the 35000 euros we paid for the lease, which was not a lease only a rental, of which 15000 euros was the commission she earned, some percentage.
SO DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES GO NEAR THIS COMPANY, THEY ARE LIARS

I totally disagree, Paula and Gerry have been really helpful in trying to find us a buyer for our bar at very short notice. We have had so much bad luck lately with break ins and robberies at our bar that we have decided not to wait any longer and sell up and move out of Benidorm. Unfortunately we will be at a massive loss. but have to drop our asking price just to be able to move on. Its the only 4am licensed bar in Calle Ibiza Benidorm and comes with a fantastic sound and light rig for live bands etc. Parasol aren't even going to take their commission on the sale. They just want for my fiancee Bernard and I to be able to move on and have a better life...KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK PAULA AND GERRY,

For one think Natalie you have nothing to do with the bar and its ownership you are just Bernards current bit of fluff. Everytime you split up you should ask him were he spends the night. You are trying to sell a bar with full light and sound equipment that does not belong to you. The property belongs to me as well as furniture statues and other memorabilia that you are holding. Bernard and myself were lovers for over 8 months and together we furnished out the Hollywood Showbar Celtic Tavern or Should I say Keltic Tavern or Irish Connection you have changed the name so many times in the past few months. I also gave him the money to pay his deposit on the bar. As his lover I supported him 100% It was supposed to help him support his three children back in Ireland. Parasol Properties are aware that their is a legal case in the Courts and would still go ahead with the sale knowing it to be illegal. The Courts will soon show the truth about your claims.
You tell everyone that the bar was broken into and you both know that is untrue. I entered the bar with my set of keys and removed some of my property. You recieved a text and letter the same day to tell you that I had been in alone and removed some of my property. We have recently been informed that the person how originally posted this comment does it regularly to try and ruin peoples Property Businesses and has been stealing properties from web sites such as Parasol Benidorm for some time. This has now been reported and the posts have been asked to be completely removed. There has never been any formal complaint about Parasol Benidorm and has been operating successfully and legally for years. Please disregard any negative comment made about this business.

Known locally as PARASITE BENIDORM, they do indeed prey on naive brits looking to buy a bar here ...selling TRESPASOS, they are a thing of the past, landlords are just delighted for someone to take over the locals/bars on a RENT ONLY basis, so be warned...avoid this company at all costs...

I have been asked by several people who have registered with a complaint a gainst PARASOL PROPERTIES to refer to them ... as they are more commonly known as PARASITE PROPERTIES here in benidorm thankyou to the people that have emailed me with their horrific stories. The lawyer has already started to compile the evidence and property that is in their name and her sons is being listed ... any further info you may have will be welcomed...

On another note please do not believe the crap that is coming out of the CELTIC TAVERN the case has not been settled. The court is setting a court date this week. My previous partner has told the legal system that he is in the UK being treated for cancer... FUNNY THAT he has worked in the bar all week. And as an IRISH citizen i doubt you would get NHS treatment in the UK when you liive in SPAIN.
The good news is the case is now listed as a CRIME OF PASSION as BERNARD was in a relationship mwith me for 8 months... Julie Grant is the worst lying transvestite walking the streets of Benidorm A fraudster who didnt pay staff wages for months and treats her staff like dirt. Paula your comments noted and handed to a lawyer foe him to take action. I admit the Queens of which I was a partner suffered in the recession and we lost it... As for being arrested untrue... I am in the middle of a court case with BERNARD STAPLETON who has over 30.000 Euros worth of my property. I went into OUR bar and removed some of my property. I do believe Bernard accused me of BREAKING and ENTRY... The public prosecutor says its a CRIME OF PASSION as I lent him the MONEY and the Equipment to set up the bar when we were lovers... The court hasall Invoices reciepts ect for my property and I do believe the police were present at the bar today when a legal letter of intent was served. This isnt about me or the Celtic Tavern its about all the people you have ripped off in Benidorm for years.. There are plenty of people coming forward with their own horror stories to tell. We would all like to see you take legal action. It would save us money. Too many people prepared to stand up against you.

I totally agree. People do need to know what is going on and beware of all the dangers in BENIDORM. Below is a picture of Julia Grant and Bernard Stapleton, co owners of the Celtic Tavern taken during the Gay Pride weekend 2011, when they were both happily in love. Everyone in the village knows this. However, its gotten really complicated now. This guy is not only a conman but is also a danger. Locking customers into the bar, running around the streets blind drunk with a hammer, stun guns and baseball bats behind the bar even to the point of the bar being draped in black flags to honour the hunger strikers. Unpaid suppliers and staff, bills etc. If you want to know the truth about this guy, just ask any bar owner in the area, trust me, they wont lie. He has pissed off and insulted just about everyone. The camper incident is also true, so are the stories of the police visits for numerous other incidents.

Its true that there is an ongoing court case but Paula, you are out of order to make statements about this especially as it doesnt concern you. You obviously believe the ### that you hear at the bar . Its true that you have been informed of the case and therefore you should de'list this bar from your site while the case is going on, just to prove that you are an honourable company . Angers have been vented at your company as can be seen above. You are only taking one side of the story to fill your own pockets from a sale, an ill gotten gain just like the bar itself.

When will Mr. Stapleton actually makes himself available for court even though he is the one that initiated the truth will come out... Seems really odd that after hiring a solicitor and getting the case to court that Mr. Stapleton is doing everything to delay the case being heard, maybe this is because it has been thrown out once already and he knows the outcome will not be favourable. All his lies will be exposed...

My name is Bernard stapleton this is the first time myself or my partner Natalie has made a comment on this page for legal reasons we will not be making any further comments. the above picture was taken at a party hosted at the queens hotel and is one of dozens of pictures taken that night this picture is being used to manipulate peoples minds by george ritchardson aka julia grant there is a court case in November which is dealing with the break in at the celtic tavern and the theft of goods and alcohol owned by myself.
Natalie has made no comments on this site this was also posted by julia grant to manipulate people into believing her lies.
Natalies facebook has been hacked into my bars facebook has been hacked into and my person facebook has been hacked into all by the same person to manipulate peoples minds. This is a very serios legal implication and comes with a hefty jail term and this is being persued by the spanish police facebook police and the Irish police. My stepdaughter who is 14 years of age has been persued by julia grant and my family have been thretend by julia grant. My daughter is a minor and it is very sick that a very sick and disturbed individual would try and manipulate a child. The reason for all of this is that julia grant has been involved in fraudulent insurance claims and theft on a number of businesses this too will be before the courts her attempt to blacken my name or tarnish my love for Natalie is a scam to distract the thruth of what she has been doing to peoples lives and businesses. Parasol properties have been asked some months ago about the seling of our bar and this is a business transaction which includes all costs and there is no personal agenda between me or parasol properties who was recomended to me by other satisfied businesses owners.
Also this talk about a girl and a campervan is a very serious statement which i have now reported to the police and is being investigated. Welcome back from your treatment...even though there are witness statements saying you were in Benidorm when the court has tried to set a date. Also denied being at the bar when the baliffs called, I suppose thats another story thats circulating .Regarding any statement made by me, I have signed statements, which also include where you have tried to blacken my name here and in Ireland...The truth is Bernard, shortly after you arrived here you were sleeping on the beach, after your few day stay at the Perla Hotel when your money ran out. After a short time here, you said you had to go back to Ireland for your fathers funeral, which turns out to be another lie...as he is still very much alive and drinking in Ballyfermot. When you came back, you were living and frequenting the bars in the old town, Benidorm, do you not remember any of this. Then one day you rang me and told me that you had met this beautiful woman that fully understood you. She took you to Marbella to meet her friends. And gave you the use of a hire car, blue ford focus, bought you the glasses on your face, Jasper Conran, sent presents to your kids at Christmas when you had no money to do it.Receipts are a wonderful thing... Is it my imagination, that I actually helped move both your belongings from the house you shared in La Nucia to the apartment above Kings Bar, beside Queens Hotel, in the old town both of which Julia owned at the time...and by the way, lets be truthful here, only one double bed being used. I suppose you don't remember either how many times I had to ask you not be so explicit when describing your sex life when in the company of my family. Legal representation are making a formal request to the court to ask if I pay can the evidance of a LIE DETECTER be used.
I will happily answer questions truthfully about our relationship, the fact i removed my property from our bar and that I have had no contact with your family as you alledge in your statement above. I will however be contacting a lawyer in Ireland who acts for Clare Dee ans make sure that she is fully aware of the current situation and perhaps she can throw some light on your past history. maybe even ask her to be a witness.

THIS HAS ALL GONE A BIT OFF TOPIC This seems to have go a bit off topic and has become the Julia V Bernard show whoever they are! Whilst it makes interesting and very funny reading few people actually care. The orignal complaint was about Parasol Benidorm and their imaginative "tell them anything to get a sale" way of doing business. Of course htis ok when selling a new car, but not when taking peoples life savings.

The reality is that all agents want to earn money and all sellers are always full of bull when it comes to the reality of how much a bar is taking. If you are buying then trust nobody, accept that everything you are told is likely to be embelished beyond all reason and get a bloody solicitor not some joker called Brian or Bob recommended by the seller or agent. The bloke selling does not care about you and is not your friend and the agent cares even less and will not be there after you have signed on the dotted line, you are on your own. If a bar is making money then it should be able to prove it, of course the agent or nice man selling saying it takes loads is no proof.
