This society appears to be totally fake. They have no phone number listed on their website. When you use their website to find an "accredited agent" you always get directed to Express Pardons Canada; a company located on the same "Bank Street" in Ottawa. Go Figure.

Below is the result I got when I did a search on the Canada Revenue Agency Website that all legitimate registered non-profit organizations must be registered. It shows that the Pardon Society of Canada is NOT a registered non-profit organization or charity. Can you say FRAUD. For more information see:

Charity Status: Canadian Registered Charities
Charity Name: Pardon Society of Canada
A search using the information shown above gave this result:
NO MATCH FOUND

BTW, the company that the Pardon Society of Canada is promoting has a "F" rating on the BBB (Better Business Bureau)

That's right, the BBB rates Express Pardons Inc. as an "F" for Total Failure!

The BBB states on their website:
"On 31/05/2012 this company's accreditation in BBB was revoked by BBB's Board of Directors due to unresolved complaint(s) and failure to maintain minimum BBB Rating."

"Factors that lowered Express Pardons Inc's rating include:
Length of time business has been operating.
30 complaints filed against business
8 complaints filed against business that were not resolved.
One serious complaint filed against business.
BBB Accreditation was revoked because the business failed to honor its accreditation agreement with BBB."

Can you say RIP OFF !

January 22, 2014 UPDATE:

Express Pardons still has a website up and appears to still be taking people's money, but all other services seemed to have been halted about 5 months ago. And the Pardon Society of Canada website has now closed, and even though their logo is still on the Express Pardons' website, if you try going to the Pardon Society of Canada website (http://pardonsociety.org/) you see that the domain is now parked on GoDaddy. What a joke!
