My husband was hired and sent to Murray KY for orientation. When orientation ended, they did not have any trucks available to put him or numerous other drivers in. They put them up in hotel rooms, then have them check out half a dozen times. Leave them sitting, without work they can't make money to eat and live off of while waiting for them to get it together. Their staff is rude to their potential drivers and their families. They don't care about ya, and very disorganized. Why bring people from across the U.S. all the way up there, if they aren't prepared to put them to work. You find out in orientation they have a 85% turn over rate and drivers are leaving trucks everywhere because they leave you sitting 4 and days at a time. When and if you get a check drivers who have been with the company for a lengthy time tell you you are lucky to clear 200 a week. What is going on with this company? A word to the wise...steer clear! Hard working drivers deserve better! I advise as many as possible to report this to the better business bureau and federal safety administration and their personal situations. This company should not be in business.

I know all this to be true. They leave you sitting. My husband let them know a month before he had a court date. then 2 weeks ahead of time. Well, sure enough they did not get him home on his court date.then had the nerve to call him on his 2nd day (he acquired 4)and told him to deliver a load. This, after him being out a month. he said it was his home time, no he wouldn't deliver the load. they threatened to send someone to get the truck and "Give it to someone who would work". They do not like you idling. They say 40%, but jump you if your even 30%. They do not let you have generator. Half his paychecks were around 250.00. This is the worst place he has ever worked at. they fire people on a daily basis for senseless things, STAY AWAY! If you choose to go there, know you've been warned. they have 2 orientations a week, that says volumnes.

Sounds like ur husband told u what he wanted u to hear...as far as pay, if he was out that long and only brought home $250., I'd say he was drawing out advances...as far as the rest, well I have been there for a few years now, and everyone there is good to me, if you just do your job and haul freight, they will take care of you, and if you don't then why should they keep you?

I agree with the original complaint 110%! This last dude, the "real truck driver", must wear knee pads, if you catch my drift. He's not in the real world. They do leave you sitting days at a time. They are pathetic at planning, dispatching, logisitics, etc. My husband has even been told ON THE COMPUTER that he doesn't need that much sleep (per hours of service federal laws); he should drive all night to get something there because they screwed up!
When they changed the pay schedule last summer from top pay of .46/mi to .33/mi, and that is only East of the Mississsippi, they gave the on-time bonuses to the brain-dead dispatchers! I kid you not!
Now, I am not some flunky who does not understand trucking, as I was a trucker, too, and teamed with him, until I lost a vital body part in a wreck(my little truck). We are floored at the idiocy of this company...UNLESS, THEY ARE TRYING TO GO BANKRUPT!

IN THAT CASE, THEY WOULD BE ROCKET SCIENTISTS! THEY ALIENATE EVERY EMPLOYEE BY TELLING THEM "YOU KNOW WHAT YOU CAN DO IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT...QUIT!" When this was brought to the attention of the safety director, and he went and had a pow-wow with the powers that be, he no longer worked there the next business day. Quit? Fired? who knows, who cares...These people are [censor]s, so don't waste your time and energy filling out a form for them!

They force my husband to drive a messup truck from Ohio to ALT going pass the terminal, mean the lights do not work on one side of the truck. They took the first truck from him to give it to another driver, because he was going to be home. Then told him to catch a ride with another driver to Ohio for the truck. He got there the truck had, like everything the last driver owned was inside the truck, including gas containers ( the truck was in an accident the week before). he told them about the truck is not safe to drive from DOT...they didn't care, come to find out is was the Fleet Manager behind the mess. So my husband made the decision to take the truck an load to Murray, KY instead of ATL. He got there on Saturday, had to wait till Monday to hear that he was Fired For going out of route. They don't care if DOT stop you and then put all those points on your license. THIS COMPANY PTL PASCHALL TRUCK LINE WILL DESTORY YOUR DRIVING CAREER...THERE SHOULD BE A WAY THAT DRIVERS COULD GET SOME SATISTFACTION FROM COMPANIES LIKE PTL...THEY TOLD MY HUSBAND NOT TO GO THERE, WHEN HE TRIED TO EXPLAIN WHY HE HAD TO DRIVE AN UNSAFE TRUCK PASS THE TERMINAL.. AND DONOT TALK ON THE PHONE WITH THEM PUT EVERYTHING ON THE QUALCOM...IT WILL BE ON RECORD THAT WAY...

My husband took the job about 3 weeks ago. Before orientation they talked great. Got to orientation and said that people turn in or abandon a truck 1 and a half times a day. That's pathetic. They told him that he would be out 2 weeks. They brought him by the house Friday and sat him 3 days. He went back out 3 days later sent home again for 2 days. He told them he needed to run more. Left and went to Dallas and sat for ever 48 hours when he had 20 hours to run. Then he calls them to tell them he was quiting and wanted to know what was wrong. He told them and they said nothing. They don't care. WHAT A MESSED UP COMPANY.

I, as a recently terminated driver for PTL - PASCHALL TRUCK LINES - employed from 5/5/'10 - 1/15/'11, agree with all statements of the drivers in this complaint section - the one driver with the positive story not with standing - are true and correct. I warn all who are terminated, that if you file for unemployment, PTL WILL falsely change your driver record and alter the facts behind ALL reports to make you look like an embicile and worse still incompetent and dangerous to all other persons on the roads! They have submitted altered/ false documents in an appeal that they filed from my unemployment award for the grand sum of just $108.00 per week! Fortunately I kept all the originals and have submitted them for evidence in the upcoming trial by teleconference - it is a very serious crime to commit fraud upon a court... however, PTL is, after all, a Jewish CO. i.e. Paschall is the Hebrew word for the Passover lamb in the Old Testament. Thus the Old Testament mantra that all other races are "dogs" i.e. male pagan temple prostitues/ homsexuals! Thus lies and deceit and all manner of evil is perfectly ok with all segments of Paschall Truck Lines operations... be assured that all drivers not of the Jewish persuation: i.e. all CHRISTIANS especially!, have been and will always be mistreated by PTL!

It seems there is alot of people having problems with PTL?
And I thought I was alone, , I was injured in a motor vehical accident while
trying to avoid hitting a car that cut me off, instead of hitting them I ended up in the median and hit a culvert and my truck came to a violent stop and was taken to the hospital with what ended up being a Cervical Spine Injury, ,
guess how PTL handled it, They canceled my health insurance and denied my
work comp and fired me..Now I am injured, can't work and on pain meds and mussel relaxers due to pain and spasms. From september last year till now I
have not recieved one dime for lost wages, medical care or treatment..
I have had to call in the Lawyers just to get whats supposed to be there for the driver in case of injury, , and NO to the other writter PTL wont go broke because the just seem to screw everyone and dont have to answer to anyone.
Just another reason not to work for PTL, , if you get hurt you too will get the short end of the stick..
Yes even I had to drive a truck that had the HOOD duct-taped together..
They play favorites to use as tokens to say, PTL is a good company, , yea-right,
and the checks in the mail..

oops, , I Misspelled Muscle(mussel) relaxers..
I was just thinking since there are so many of you out there who has been done
wrong by PTL, , , but one point I want to make, , Just because Paschall is a name
related with an old testament passover deal, does'nt make them a Jewsih company, , in fact while I worked there I never met one Jew, , , these people are
simply, , Scoundrels...Better yet we should all find a way to communicate together and sum up all the wrongs comitted by PTL and find a Lawyer and
file a Class Action Lawsuit against them..My lawyer says my rights were violated and Laws were broken and I bet if we all take a closer look all of us can
file one of the biggest lawsuits since Erin Brockovich!
Think it over, can all of us drivers finally come together to gree on this?
This is why companies do this, Drivers don't stick together, , let's prove them wrong and put an end to this crap..What do you all say, we have nothing to lose
and everything to gain...later all

I went thru orientation a week and a half ago had to Wat 3 days after for a truck then was fired a week later cause they said I had a DOT accident with a company I never worked for.. in fact iv never had a accident with any company. Well they sent me packing and on the way to the bus station I found out that PTL gets paid for every person they put thru orientation then as soon as they get the money they come up with something to get rid of ya to bring in more people. Don't let that happen to u... I highly suggest no one to apply for this joke of a company.

I was recently recruited by paschal. I went to Kentucky with high hopes.First of all, the motel they house you in is a rat hole, far removed from any place to get even a cold soda.If you dont want a room-mate it will cost you $100 extra, they give you 15 minutes to eat the cold food they bring in during the day and a bagel and coffee for breakfast. you are rushed through mountains of paperwork with no time to read it before you sign it. then they inform you of all the things they are going to charge you for[like$175.oo for a padlock] they take these charges out of your pay. if you don"t agree, they tell you to leave and don't pay you the$150.00 for orientationthat they promise up front. if you drive your own vechicle there the mileage pay they promise never materializes. they ask you to volenteer to go pick up trucks from drivers who have quit or been fired, they dont mention pay for that. they tell you they will get you home first trip to pick up your stuff, but once you sign on, you are told it will be 6 to 10 days before you can request hometime and then you might not get it. if you call with any questions they say they will get an answer and call you back, but never do.So much for my experience with Paschal, hope yours is better if you are foolish enough to go there

I believe most of what I'm reading about PTL. These stories sound all too familiar. I was at their orientation and the recruiter says orientation takes 1 and a half days and its really nearly 3 days. Then the hotel in Murray they put you in is a flea bag dump, really bad. They got some kind of deal going with that hotel and then lie about the other hotels in town saying PTL drivers aren't welcome. Total lie because I called around and checked. Then they don't tell you about the recovering of abandoned trucks in order to get started with them. That twerpy guy Kevin is a real liar and doesn't care about anyone. They lie about the miles and the mostly drop n hook stuff. You can be stuck at docks for hours waiting to be loaded or unloaded, not making anything. Someone should start a class action against them.

My husband is currently working with PTL and he has actually had a 988 mile week! In the last 24 pay periods there were 8 with 2200 miles or more, 8 with less than 1500, and 8 with [protected]. This is WAY to much variety and should be more consistent. A $95 pay check...yes, $95...is unacceptable. There have been many checks that were under $300. Not only is there a severe lack of miles and terrible delivery times (load scheduled to pick up the day before, doesn't get picked up on time but delivery time never changes so the new driver has to deal with sitting on it for hours or a day) but the insurance cost is through the roof and they won't let you cancel until the end of the year. I have to donate plasma twice a week in order to afford food at home for myself and our son! The only time things get remotely better is when he stays out for 3 weeks or talks directly with driver services and they get involved. He didn't get home until 5pm Christmas day after specifically being told it would be no problem to get him home Christmas Eve. There have been numerous problems getting him home when needed whether it's just to be with the family or for doctor appointments. The trucks are terrible. Clutch went out on the first one, leaks around the window seals, various other issues including qualcomm not working properly. The second truck also has a clutch problem but he's looking to leave next week. Trailers are always left for the other guy to fix and dispatchers don't want you to get them fixed. It took 3 days after orientation before he got a truck because they go by "good job history". .34 per mile with an average of 1600 miles per week is NOT worth being gone 3 weeks at a time.

Oh believe every bit of it. I just brought home a $64.00 check and I'm a owner operator who has a 100% on time delivery rate. They will have you do a drop in hook and have another load pre-planned to you that is already loaded. When you drop load that you are on that customer has no empty so dumb dispatch will have you waiting 5-9 hrs looking for a empty trl once I waited until the next day. When you tell they not doing there jobs and you are unhappy they tell you to turn equipment in at Murray. I'm about to sue the p out of ptl and my lawyer says to ask any other drivers would they like for him to represent them.

We would love to hear from Ur lawyer too ...we have been out of orientation for a month and a half and yr to date have only brought $600 home. We r mileage pay but they pay us like percentage and think we don't know the difference. We asked for home time from the 2nd of October till the 5th of October for my daughters wedding and they purposefully sat him at home from September 28th till the 5th of oct. For 4 weeks we have made $0.00 this company is a crock of s**t. We have been paying for bus tickets for 2 month already. How can u make a living for Ur family with this company. You can't and we are not the only ones that are having this problem with them. Almost all the drivers that we started with have the same issues as us and u can't use all Ur income up in advances cause Ur lucky if u get 25 dollars a day and they want u to beg for that. We r owner/ops as well and we don't sit we r runners. This company is just bs. So please can u give us Ur lawyers name and number or contact us please. Name is james bradley number is [protected].

We thought this was a good company to work for at first. The recruiter Cory Jones was awesome. I had a few questions and having being told by Cory to contact him for anything, my husband was almost let go because I found my husband's pay to be incorrect. So he was told by JD in the West Memphis terminal that my husband shouldn’t tell me certain things and certain things he should tell me. We do not hide anything from each other and I feel that because I found something wrong with his paycheck and pointed it out that someone got into some heat and got caught putting things in the system wrong. There’s no telling how many other drivers this happen to. He worked for over a month before he ever got to go home for a weekend and busted his butt. Went back on after having a weekend and then was let go due to poor performance because of his miles. It’s sad when you bust your butt and miss time from home away from your family and they don’t want to give him miles but yet turn around and let him go for something he had no control over.

Long story short WE will not refer anyone to this company to work for. It’s crap and not worth anyones time.

Told them that I would be dead heading home. First thing they did was shut off my fuel card. PTL is a group of vindictive terrorist that Will take the life blood out of you. Just, wanted to let everyone that posted a comment on this board that I appreciate all of you telling your stories about Paschall Truck lines. Recently, I submitted an application online and of course it went out to numerous truck companies. Paschall was one of the trucking companies that contacted me ( A guy named Matt ) . After, giving him my information he hung up and started checking my references. He said he had contacted my past employers and got the information he needed and that I was qualified already for orientation. Later, he kept calling me and leaving messages that he needed to talk with one of the employers again to get him to answer a few more questions he had.
I wondered why would he need to contact the employer again since he already talked to him. The past employer was out of state visiting family for the labor day weekend. Started to contact Matt to see if I could connect him and the past employer again. Then I remembered that I had not performed a check on Paschall truck lines like I have all the rest of the companies. Now, that I have a read all these complaints against the company. I've lost my interest in working for them and have decided to go with another company. Thank the Lord for (review boards) like this one on the internet. You guys have saved me from making a devastating financial, driver license mistake. Thank You All !

started working for Ptl in November of last year and on December 8th on my way to California I tore my ACL coming out of a love truck stop after going to the hospital getting checked out Safety told me I can no longer be in the truck so they have put me up in hotel and the very next day they told me they sent me a bus ticket well there is no public transportation no cabs in the town I stayed in I told from Safety about this and was
told I had to get there the best way I can and this this hwas a three hour walk with crutches two gym bags and was told if I didn't get there I will be stuck in New Mexico so I'll pay one of the employees at the hotel to take meand a place where the bus station was that wasn't that abandon hotelthere was no office for the bus depot as I sit out there in the hot Sun fot 10 hours waiting on the busthere was no place to eat no place to sit down I went inside one of the rooms in the hotel and found a chair. this bus trip took me 24 hourswith a knee brace from my ankle to my upper thigh on a crowded greyhound can you imagine the pain I was in. I was off of 4 months in each  time I went to doctor reported back the you Safety Department about my return to work date which was in April of 2015 well I found out that lady was not updating my information so day. I had to go through a rehone process and where the first I was denied until I talk to the director of Safety who gave me a rehire date so I went back to Ptl started my phase two of which I did complete and upon completion I request my home time and then I found out that once you complete Phase two you get another fleet manager and is it discreet man did not want me to take my home time started driving for another week and a half before I got a chance to go home I also was put into a manual truck which I shouldn't have been you I kept telling my fm that my knee was hurting from all the clutching but all he said wd try and get you into an automatic which didn't happen so I called the safety and they chewed him out, but I was put out of service because of my knee...so to make a long story short I can request a long time because my mom has dementia she's been having seizures for a whole month I let my fm about my home time which which was document it on the Qualcommbut when I was ready to return my fm told me that I was red flagged because of my miles but I've always delivered early but if you give a loads on a Friday and I ask if I can deliver them before Monday and you tell me no, so can anyone tell me how can I get more miles if you the fm knows I have to sit for another day and a half to deliver. So he fired me for no doing more miles. so I called one of the vice president right and he had the nerve to yell at me at about my miles I told him to look at the preplans and he'd see for himself what I was saying was true but he didn't need to do that because since this fm Erick told him I wasn't doing more miles who do you think he believed what's on paper or what this man who had something against me for reporting him to the Safety Department..well I nolonger work. When I was contacted by PTL to start with them I was promised benifits of health, tax and, legal and, my orientation would be 2days. When I headed down to orientation 660 miles with my won money I was told had to pick up an empty trailor and I would be paid 0.50 a mile. Well I havent been paid for it or any of my loads they keep giving me an excuse about pay week closing. They made me and, all the other drivers sit in a motel for 2 weeks after orientation and, only eating what the motel gave us cold horrible food. I told them from the first day that I needed to be home for an important date on 3/11 and, kept in contact daily about this but of course on that day I was set up to deliver another load and, couldnt make it. I drove and, picked up equipment that was dropped off from other drivers who quit and, left everything where they where. I kept in contact with dispach about getting money for fuel and, any needs they said they heard I was going to quit and, gave that excuse told me I could get 25.00 to eat and, return their equipment. I did 26 days 15 loads and, 7, 236 miles of my 1900.00 settlement I received 211.00 . I was told that I would receive a check after this with the next pay week or longer. I was left with nothing and, again had to use my own money to get anwhere... If there is any lawsuits or class actions happening now please get in touch with me Gene: [protected].. The brotherhood of truckers needs to come together and stop this company!

Well, I've been with Paschall for over 6 years. They have always done me right. The old motel they used to use was just across the street from a shopping center with the Golden Corral rught there. They give you meal cards to eat there for free. If you are too lazy to walk half a block for free food, I have no sympathy for you. Freight volumes ebb and flow. Most of the time I am at or over 3000 miles a week. However, the period just after Christmas through February and sometimes into March is historically slow in trucking. Some areas are harder to get freight out of than others. In any event, as long as you make sure your eta/pta is accurate all the time and you are getting your loads from point A to point B as quickly as the truck, law and logs will allow, they will run you. Show them all you like to do is lay up in truck stops and they will plan you where you can lay up in truck stops. In the 6 years I have been here there has only been two times that I requested to get home and they didn't get me home when I asked to get there.

I was a driver for this company, well trainee anyhow, horrible experience. The trainers are teaching the trainees to falsify their logs, they have the trainees clock off the drive line and onto either off or on but they could still be blocks away from their destination. And they have a trainer that I was un fortunate to get that does nothing but eat, sleep, and fight with his girlfriend in a full blown screaming match, on top of the stink as I did not include bathe, or do laundry. Another trainer I had is a very dangerous driver, he does 65 on the highway regardless of the 50 mph work zone signs, almost hit a truck from behind, almost ran a biker off the road, tailgating, had to ask him to back off from other vehicles multiple times. Also this trainer ran a load knowing full well we were over weight, and made me pass an open scale when I was supposed to stop. The company says your supposed to report things wrong and those are major violations, I called the company and when they called him, he tried to make it look like I was lying, so the company called me the liar and terminated me. Completely un acceptable, don't work for this suit, they don't care about anything outside of their pay checks. Laws mean nothing to them, they have worse than 95 out of 100 CSA score, find a good company.

I have had nothing but a positive experience with PTL. My paychecks have averaged $800 per week as a company driver. I never refuse a load, I run hard and so I'm rewarded with great runs and lots of miles. I don't know what all these complaints are about. From my experience the folks that have negative comments about a company are in fact the problems themselves. They demand instead of ask, refuse instead of being agreeable, and generally don't like their job. I love driving. I love working for PTL. IF you don't like your job, quit. Do something you love. Don't just spout your angry opinions as facts for they are not true. I've been with this company for 7 months and have managed to put away $12000. That's including spending money on food and incedentals. I live good on the road and yet I have managed to save as well. Love your job, work hard, BE PATIENT, and make it happen. Stop pissing and moaning about how someone else wronged you and look in the mirror. RIGHT THERE IS YOUR PROBLEM

What you saying is not true. You don't know what people go through. Im sorry to hand it to you buddy, but running hard for $800 a week, you're the problem. You don't know what your worth? Those check have to be the biggest you've made in your life. I felt like that when I first started driving so I know how you feel. But your comment on what others went through at PTL displays how well you have been hypnotize and conditioned. This may make you mad but I have a spoiler alert. You may want to take what im saying and use it to your advantage. Everybody is not blessed with common sense. This is once in a life time I respond or even comment. You're going to respond but I WONT SEE IT! Show others why they can listen to what you say...
