My experience started out bad. The waitress took the order for drinks and forgot to bring straws. Had to ask her twice for straws for my drink and a friend. No big deal, still was ok with the restaurant, I ordered a meal Pastrami and hasbrowns. Meal comes out quickly and I received a patty melt and hashbrowns instead of pastrami. I simply said to the waitress no i ordered a pastrami not a patty melt. She replied you said patty melt i wrote it down. Right there l got upset and tried to argue the fact that i didn't say patty melt. Mean while her boss came out and asked what was the problem. I explained to her what happened and she got an attitude. She told me so what am i supposed to do with the patty melt its waist and did not want to make the situation right. So I said don't worry about it give me a to go box and ill take it to go. After that the manger said fine ill make another one keep it. A this point I was livid I just gave her a 50 dollar bill and walked out of the restaurant. I am so bothered by places not giving good customer service. I'm so tired of spending good money and getting crappy service. Why should i have to fight for a mistake the waiter made. I will never go to that restaurant again. I will also spread the work not to go to that restaurant. All of this could of been made right but no.
Desired outcome: All the waitress had to do is say I'm so sorry I misheard you let me make it right. I did not want it free I did not want any special privilege. I just wanted to be treated like a value customer.
