I authorized a one-time charge of $19.95 for a directory listing for one person. I was on their website page for only 47-seconds. I later discovered that they were charging me this amount monthly. I had never again returned to their website after that single initial use. They claimed I had checked "Yes" to a monthly charge, which I would never have done, and refused to refund any of the monthly charges. I finally had to call Am. Express to put a block on their monthly charges but was unable to recover the additional months of charges. They refused to provide me with any evidence that I had actually checked "Yes" and/or not canceled.
I believe that they are running a scam designed to trick users into thinking they are authorizing a one-time charge and then charging them monthly until they finally discover it.
Do not do business with this company!

Warning...www.peoplelookup service SUCKS! I wanted to get a telephone number...paid the fee and it only provided the address. When I called to complain and request a reimbursement I was told that the comment section stating "includes address" meant that it was an extra feature. They say it means it only includes address. Needless to say, supervisor Emmy could care less and was of no help in getting the reimbursement. Does anyone know the name of the CEO of the company?
