PLEASE help me! I have been treated for back pain at this location for several years. I have mainly been Dr. Emil Annabi's patient. Because of the Intense pain associated with this procedure, I always request & pay for sedation. Now, I have had my 2nd (and last) appointment with Dr. Gordon! Before the procedure started, Dr. (?) Gordon announced that SHE would also be doing the sedation. I must remind you that for years I have been enduring these procedures w/o ANY problem at all, (with SEDATION)! This Dr. Gordon just gave me a SMALL amount of sedation. She began "burning" my back & before I knew it, I was no longer under & she was still burning me. I was moving around the table trying to get away from the pain. I was crying out in pain but the doctor kept burning me & telling me over & over firmly to "BE STILL!" I have been traumatized.
I also would like you to know that I am retired now but have spent 33 years working in the medical field. I loved every moment that I worked & knew the patient's care was most important. I treated my patients the way I wanted to be treated!
Please make sure this doctor doesn't do this to any other patient, please!
Desired outcome: I want a sincere(?) apology & assurance this won't happen to any other patient!!!
Never once have I ever had any issues with my procedures or visits I am very appreciative of pima pain center without them my quality of life would be a big fat 0. I wouldn’t know what to do without them . All you hear is the bad experiences people feel they need to say but never the good . Since you have so many years of patient care do you ever once remember having a good experience at pima pain center . You never once mention this through out your traumatized experience . If you’re unhappy why don’t you find another pain practice to accept you and help manage your pain.

Not on medication or opioids for pain thank god but if it wasn’t for them I probably would be . I don’t believe im any of these complaints because I know what they can do for people who truly need help and want relief
I am a big firm believer in the healers and gift that was given to these pain doctors . They have suffered for years of schooling and I can tell you that I can not thank them enough for all that they have done . My family is even more grateful as I can now join activities and run with my kids , play soccer , and just be with them without complaining of pain. As a society so many have become spoiled and unappreciative . Some just wants narcotics which they probably can’t get but to blame these folks for your miseries is wrong. I also thing that ratings don’t say much especially when it comes from people who are just miserable people. I have recommended pima pain to so many and have heard nothing but great feedback. My own mother goes there and that says a lot .
