On March 14, 2024 I went into an agreement to lease a 2023 Kia Sportage Hybrid at Plaza Kia on 2748 Nostrand Ave. Brooklyn, NY.
I was currently leasing a 2021 Honda Passport that had four (4) months remaining on the lease. I communicated with the salesman that the only way this new lease would work for me was if they pay off my remaining Honda
lease which he agreed. They are refusing to pay off my 2021 Honda Passport which I traded with them.
The Manager is refusing to return my emails or state a reason why.
I believe that the Manager made an error at the time of signing which I didn't catch. This was after 8 hours in the showroom because they were have technical issues. I was very stressed at the time and was never even offered water. After the 8 hours the Manager flipped on a "faulty" desk monitor, that kept shutting off and on, so I could sign the documents. This whole ordeal lasted from 3pm until 11pm. The cost of the new lease was totally contingent on them paying off the Honda. The salesman I worked with agrees with me but says the Manager is refusing payment.
Currently I am receiving letters from Honda for pass due lease payments.
