Charles Schieck, of Pope McMillan and associates represented me in a very unethical manner and the firm did nothing to correct and covered up the misdoings of a member. (Family Law matter) He continously agreed to make motions which he never filed. He sent up meetings which he never attended. He set up teleconferences he failed to conduct. No preparation before any court cases. When I requested to meet prior to the hearings he only had time at the court house before going into the court room. He continued to lie until we parted ways. Never once did anything for the case. I could not believe it. The term sleeze bag for lawers surely fit this guy like a glove.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.

Do yourself a favor stay away from this attorney. My friend was dragged for several years by Charles Schieck with open promises and left with an empty bank account. Nightmare for my friend. His life was turned upside down and can not even see his children.
Charles and staff lied about continuing a case, telling me dates that he was going for "calendar call " for my case and one date I mentioned I was going to show up. He changed that date. Another date there was no calendar call. I have no clue what else he lied about. My case dragged on for 2 years with NO RESOLUTION. He blames the Iredell County Court System. I would /not recommend this attorney. Save your money, see someone reputable.
