My name is Tramaine Sampson I was currently at the Porsche West Houston Dealership getting my car serviced on July 5, 2022 at 8:24am for an issue regarding the the passenger side evaporator. I received a call from Tyler a week later updating me on the car stating the evaporator did in fact have a leaking on the passenger side, after doing the diagnostic test Tyler informed me Porsche needed to send the test to the extended warranty to submit a claim. July 22nd I came to the dealership to get personal belonging out the vehicle and to check in with the car, he drove the car around to let me get the items out of the car! August 3rd he called me stating that the car battery was dead and I needed a new battery which cost $1483.06 and the labor was $45.00. I came in just for the evaporator replacement which the extended warranty claim was only going to have me paying $150.00!
I informed Tyler how did the battery go dead and I brought it in working perfectly fine. Tyler couldn't tell me why the battery went dead! Tyler continued to give me excuses on what could have caused the battery to go dead! I came into the dealership to resolve the issue with the service manager to figure out why the battery went dead in there possession and maybe we could come up with a solution! The only thing they could do was pay for my $150.00 deductible and bring the labor for the battery down to 45.00 from 150.00.
