I contacted this guy called Elon throught the business website. He came by my worksite and replaced the window motor of my 2001 van. Once finished I paid him with a personal check the amount of $ 200.00 He told me that the same check will be my warranty honored for one year. Around two months later I called him back to replaced the window motor of my daughter Nitro suv. Same thing I paid him again the amount of $200.00 with another personal check. Around two months after the van 2001 power window mtr. stop working. I called him for three days in a row and he never answered at all. Then I decided to use another phone and then he answered. Three times in a row he told me that he was coming by to replace the part and he never did . Three times that I took time off my work to meet him and he never came or call. Then my daughter suv mtr. failed too and same scenario. I just want to make sure that whoever read this do not commit the same mistake that I did twice. This Elon is a liar and he's out there ripping people off and taking advantage hidden behind a fake responsible business name. He mentione in the website that he has been serving florida for a lot of years. I verified his business score with the BBB and it is under F . Verify yourself before doing business with this irresponsible liar.
I agree he is doingthe same to me. My suggestion is to call from a new phone lie and say you have a different car and when he comes to the appointment ambush him and make him honor the warranty. I am in the process of doing this since he has given me the run around for 2 weeks now.
His name is Elon I Yarri and he is an illegal scammer defrauding south floridians out of thousands of dollars. His address can easily be obtained by putting in his full name Elon I Yaari into any address search engine. Once you have the address a small claims lawsuit will get you your cash back and attorney fees should be covered as well. Don't be a victim. Contact your local sheriff, the bbb, and report him to the florida department of licensing. What he is doing is illegal so don't allow yourself to be a victim.
Elon has struck again in Davie. Same MO as everyone before. What a thief. I will be filing a report with the Davie Police department ASAP as well as all of the licensing bureaus.
I had problems with a guy in Ft. Myers. Can't remember his name. I posted this on the VW Passat forum.I am posting this in an attempt to hopefully save someone from becoming victim to this company. This type of post may be controversial as I understand that someone could post something about a company just because of a slight dissatisfaction. This is NOT the case here. I only wish someone had posted something similar prior to this shoddy workman touching my Passat!
What happened: I had a power window issue and contacted them at this number: PowerWindowFix.com [protected] (it appears that all of the different franchises have their own phone number). He came out to my house and right away I should have trusted my intuition and sent him on his way but didn't. He started dismantling the door panel and it was obvious he wasn't familiar with it.
He did several things wrong, one of which was that he ripped the metal inner panel from the door separating it from the lock mechanism. I told him when he started pulling on it that I had researched this procedure on this forum and that it was not good to do that. The proper way was to unbolt the lock mechanism from the end of the door and take it out in one unit. He told me: "Oh, yeah that's one way of doing it but it's not necessary." I read in a thread on here that that would "break" the LM.
Moving forward: He finally got it apart and found a broken cable. He had a spool of cable and proceeded to replace the broken one. He then started to try to "snip and dress-up" the other cable with needle nose pliers. I said what about that cable it's frayed and needs to be replaced also? He said, "I'm not replacing that one, I gave you a good price to fix this." At this point I still almost sent him down the road but was then at his mercy.
Moving forward further: He put it back together and I checked it out and saw that it worked properly. The next day, however, my wife drove it to work and told me the door panel had a terrible rattle in it. I called him to correct this rattle and after several days he came out, took it back apart and ended up stuffing a piece of material in the panel to stop the rattle. I was out of town and didn't witness this but he told me that's what he did.
More problems: After his second trip out to butcher my door panel, we developed another problem. The driver door began locking and unlocking on its own and would not stay locked. As soon as you took off from a stop the door would lock and unlock. I called him back again and he told me if I wanted him to fix this I would have to pay him more money!
So in the mean time: The next disaster occurred. What happened next is my cluster "fried" as my mechanic put it. After researching this online with a person that repairs cluster I learned that this could have occurred as a result of "an electrical malfunction" as the gentleman put it. This comment led me to instruct my mechanic to look at the door panel for something faulty inside. He told me that someone had "ripped some wiring loose in there". They repaired this and corrected the lock function and installed a $600.00 cluster!
To be fair to PowerWindowFix.com [protected], I understand they are a franchise in the state of Florida (not sure about other states. I doubt all franchisees are all butchers and crooks.
Elan at PowerWindowFix.com is a cockroach-rip-off-thief-###. I should have done my homework on these scam artists. BBB has them down as never responded to over 7 complaints.
I love small businesses and try to give them work whenever I can. And yes I’m also looking for convenience of someone coming to me to fix my stuff at a reasonable price.
They showed up late costing me half a day of work, did bad work using inferior parts (which failed), broke the door panel on the car because they didn’t really know how to get it off without breaking it, left their garbage repair scraps in my yard, lied about taking credit cards and then when their cheap fix failed and I called them, I was told they would be right on it at my place the next am. They never showed up, never returned or answered another call from me, and did not respond to emails.
Well I reported them to the BBB and to the Florida Division of Consumer Services http://www.800helpfla.com/
I will also post on every site I can find like this one to let the world know they are rip offs. If you get ripped off or have been ripped off you have to speak out so these scammers don't stay in this business.
Please note they are in cahoots with a company called windshield-fix.com who are very likely rip offs too.
In the end I bought the right part from VW for $129 and installed it myself in under an hour.
They ripped me off for $492.90 for a front window and rear window regulator fix. The front went out right away and I expect the rear to go at any time.
Even Mieneke or CarMax would do it for around that price and be reliable.

I had a similar incident happen to me today. Same phone number [protected], but the new company name is Power Window Pro at powerwindowpro.com
First, I called around and got a couple estimates to install a new window motor, which was starting to have trouble going up on the passenger side. I had a repair done on the driver's side a couple years previous by a mobile guy, and he did a nice job for $80.
The "owner" David said he would put in a new motor for $149, at my location. Sounded reasonable.
The "technician" finally arrives 2 hours later than originally arranged. He asked to just leave him the keys and come back later. Well I'm not that trusting from some guy who drives up in a blue Volvo ( license number noted by the way). So he proceeds to dismantle the side panel, and looks like he knows what he is doing. So after a little friendly banter I notice he is starting to repair, not replace the motor. I asked him why, as I was quoted a new part replacement. He said he work in the business for many years and could repair it better than the "cheap plastic" new motors.
I said I would entertain a repair instead, but wanted to know the price difference. He said he didn't know and called his boss, but said he couldn't get through to him. (sound fishy here?)
Then he gets defensive and asks me to trust him, doesn't like me watching his work, etc.
I said fine, but what is the problem with the motor. He says it is only the gear that need fixing.
So I give him some space and make a few phone calls. Thirty minutes later, he looks like he has it all back together, walks over and says it needs a new motor which will cost $270 and he needs a cash deposit of $80 before he can order the part. I look at the window and he has two wooden wedges stuck between the glass and the frame. I question this and he says he disengaged the motor so it wouldn't "accidentally be moved before the new part gets installed.
I asked to have the window put back in the condition he found it. He said he couldn't do it and suggested I talk to his boss "David" (is that his real name?). While I try to connect to the "boss" the tech guy says he has to leave and drives off.
I test the window to make sure it is secure and it drops down inside the door.
So now I am left with a non-working window down inside the door frame.
I call the boss David and ask him to get someone back to get it fixed. He says it will cost $270 for someone to come back. I asked about the $149 new motor replacement price and he says he doesn't remember that since he talks to so many people.
Long story short, he doesn't care what I think and hangs up the phone.
I take the door panel back off, slide the window back up, secure it and am now looking for a "trust worthy" service to replace the part. In the meantime I Google the problem, and see a video that instructs how to replace it with a new $60 motor "regulator". I will think about that as a a back up plan.
So to all those who might come across these guys, watch out. Bait and switch would be my guess. Hope the law catches up to them soon.
I found this company while searching the Internet for a power window
regulator / motor for my daughters 2000 Toyota Solara. Unfortunately I
did not think to look at reviews BEFORE I contacted them. The drivers
window in the vehicle would intermittently stop going up / down.
Knowing it would eventually fail entirely I found powerwindowfix.com on
the web and asked them for an estimate. We received an email from
Elan. He said my issue was a window motor and the cost to repair it
would be $125. We arranged for him to come to my house on 5/6 to do the
repair. He arrived as scheduled, confirmed that it was the window motor
which was bad, and that the cost would be $125 as per the estimate.
Elon completed the repair in a timely manner. He then presented me with
an invoice for $150 saying he'd had to replace a gear in the motor
addition to repairing the motor. My BS flag went up but I confirmed the
window was working so I paid him the $150 cash, got a receipt and he
went on his way. On 5/14 my daughter called me and said she was rolling
down the window and it made a clunk and was now loose in it's track. You
could hear the motor run but it was not moving the window. I called
Elan and he told me it was the regulator which was bad and since he'd
repaired the motor previously there would be an additional charge to fix
the regulator. I asked how he knew it was the regulator without
looking and he told me it was from experience. He said he'd give me a
break and only charge me $75 versus his usual $125 to do the repair. I
had a bad feeling but made an appointment for the following day. When
he failed to show as scheduled or call me I decided to remove the door
panel myself and look into the issue. The regulator appeared to be fine
(and it was) so I removed the regulator / motor so I could figure out
what the problem was. While taking it out I noticed one of three nuts
which hold the motor to the door was missing. I found it inside the
bottom of the door and was able to remove it with a magnet on a stick.
Once I had the regulator out I notice a cap falling off the back of the
motor. I removed the cap and found the drive gear had moved up on the
shaft. There was a snap ring stuck to the gear (by that sticky grease
used inside the motor) which should have held the gear on the shaft. The
snap ring was deformed from someone's attempt to put it on the shaft as
it was both too small (in diameter) and to thick to fit in the slot on
the shaft. I went to a local hardware store, purchased a snap ring of
the proper size, reassembled everything and the window is now performing
as it should. That said after seeing the shoddy work (missing nut,
wrong deformed snap ring, loose motor cap) I don't really trust the
motor repair so I'll be picking up another motor / regulator either new
or from a junkyard and replacing it. When I contacted Elan about what
I'd found he refused any refund at all and denied using any wrong parts
or not having put it together properly . I then googled
powerwindowfix.com reviews and found many many complaints, all
unsatisfied, very similar to mine on various sites (including the
Broward Better Business Bureau) Based on the changing price (up charge),
shoddy workmanship, and poor warranty support I observed my
recommendation would be to steer clear of this company.
I had both driver and passenger window failure. The tech Ozez Fahima came out and said he replaced both the motors and relay switches which was done in an IMPOSSIBLE 15 minutes. That would mean he would have to remove both door panels diagnose and repair and reassemble. When he was done he demanded cash payment. I refused and offered to pay by check or credit card or debit card. he said he did not take any of those. I stood my ground and eventually accepted my check. My drive window failed within a week. I called and he said he would come out and fix it he never showed. I kept my cool and he promised to show up more than ten times over the next 6 weeks and never showed. Now mind you I had no windows working during this time. So then he stopped answering his phone, voice mails and emails over the next 2 weeks. So that is the story now I am filing a small claims which is even more hassle and I have to pay and get my window fixed somewhere else because i cannot drive without the windows working anymore. I think 8 weeks and countless promises and no shows equals fraud. Also there is a 30 day guarentee on the invoice, which by the way has no invoice number it looks as though he printed it up himself. DO NOT GO TO THEM unless you like giving away your money .
yes he wrote his name Oded Fahima

Again no Eli or call back well I get the job done needed regulator and motor total 180 dollars. I text him that information and that I really don't understand why he is running. This would not have been a job he did on my car. Of course now he calls and tells me he don't remember talking with me at all. This after speaking with over four times since Sunday eveninig and calling about 15 times. I guest he thought I was going to ask for him to do the job for free.
