prepaidgiftbalance.com review: Gift card

I received a gift card from a school raffle. Went to use the card and it kept getting declined. Then called their number at [protected] and talk with a rep there and they stated they need to issue a new card so they took my name and address and sent out the new card. I received the card today, called the same number again, and this time they said they could not activate without proper paper work ... seriously? For a gift card? They wanted me to send my Social Security number, Date of Birth and Government ID like a drivers license. I told the operator, that's not going to happen and hung up.

I figure the $50 is gone but would like them to put on someone's radar to shut this place down.
