This review was chosen algorithmically as the most valued customer feedback.

I received a flyer in the mail to enter my little girl in the Pretty Little Princess Pageant sponsored by Starfire Pageants, Inc.

I sent in $20. About a week later I received my "acceptance" package to mail another pile of fees (approximately $150) to "really" register her.

I am just warning everyone that the cost to enter this pageant is not $20. All together, expect to spend about $200 when you factor in the tickets, clothes, program books, ad sales, etc.

Needless to say, I sent a letter for a refund and have not heard back yet. If I don't have a refund of my scammy $20 "application fee" I will show up the pageant to get it there.

I am only warning other mothers to do their checking before they mail and possibly lose the $20 "application fee" stunt they are pulling.

H.D.

Hm We did the one in las Vegas in April 2012. No face painting, no party...nothing but a small flower and small trophy. The kids that did win the optionals, prob not the best. The kids that won done her pageant before, word from their mothers:) mommies talk think about this when you choose winners. We were not happy the little girl who one prettiest hair hardly had any. go figure:) all children a beautiful I learned I don't need to pay someone to tell me she is, we always get told how beautiful and outgoing she is by strangers:)

I entered my daughter when she was 6. We read all the paperwork. We let her pick out her own outfits from the closet (not buying anything), made sure not to use any make up (as requested) and didn't do anything fancy with her hair. My daughter had a GREAT time! It was wonderfully produced for the little girls. We decided we were just going to have fun. I believe attitude is everything. My daughter won prettiest face, best personality, (2 other prizes...I forget what the were called) and the Grand Prize of Prettiest Little Princess. We have no affiliation to the pageant or the people who run it. We are just a family that can testify that they are legitimate. Don't be disgruntled if you didn't assume full responsibility for looking into everything or if you didn't win.
