Purplus.net review: Selling fake serial numbers 1

This review was chosen algorithmically as the most valued customer feedback.

I bought a license for Kaspersky Internet Security software from what looked like a reputable site called purplus.net (aka Purplus Software). The license key worked for about 4 months and then suddenly the Kaspersky software said the key was black listed, which means Kaspersky has found that too many computers are trying to use this license key, so they disable the key from working and the software becomes useless.

A common scam on the internet is that the same license key for a software product is sold to multiple people, so that they can make money multiple times from selling one real license they bought from software producer.

I later found out that Purplus is not an authorized reseller of Kaspersky software according to Kaspersky.
