5-22-17 received postcard with my name and address indicated. Requested mailed back to have information sent for Senior Final Expense Benefits for Middlesex (area) Massachusetts residents. At first glance it appears to be from Government. Closer inspection revealed no government ties, no company name, not even a phone number or street address. Therefore, I am unable to reach them to tell them to take me off their mailing list! An internet search indicated scam alerts from several states and areas. I am offended, not ready to die any time soon, and feel like a victim when such deceptive mail is received. Our mail system should not continue, to allow these companies that use these tactics, to continue. Once identified, they should be stopped and or fined. Continuance should require stiffer penalties. The fact that these companies are apparently accessing my age/basic info via Social Security, is NOT right! I am 64 and computer literate, so I was able to spot the scam after some quick, online research. This is not the case however, for many seniors. These people prey on seniors and should be stopped.

I received a mailing just like this 2017 Death Benefit and Free Wal-Mart Gift Certificate Information Enclosed.
I'm referring this to the Attorney General for the State Of Ohio.

I sent mine in but the whole time I felt like it was a scam. I haven't heard from this group of people but now I will know what to do if they contact me. Hang up.. I know I'm not the only person in North Carolina to get this in the mail, my granddaughter's other grandmother received one also, she mailed her's too. I'm wondering what they are doing with these post cards that are sent back to them. If anyone out there reads this and knows anything about this please leave a message on this post .
