Unwilling to change names for flights
Booked package to Tahiti with Windstar in October 2019 including flights for August 2020
In March 2020 cancelled package due to Pandemic but were informed the flights in our package were non refundable.
We changed the flight booking to August 2021 then changed again to August 2022 as these were the only options offered to us.
As we are now in our late 60's we are unwilling to travel overseas due to the situation with Covid and we asked the airline and Windstar if we could transfer the bookings to our son and his wife.
Air Tahiti informed us and Windstar that we are not able to transfer the bookings to another name. We do not understand why this is the case or why they can't give us credit for the flights.
Desired outcome: I would like to be able to transfer the flights to my son and his wife or be given a credit to be used for other flights in the future
food
Hi there, you got all my details on the top, i flew from Auckland to Lax on 11Th august on flight no-TN22. i was really concerned and unhappy with the food. it was disgusting, it has live bugs in it. when i called the flight strewart and explain it to him he completely ignored me and walked away. later when i requested to see flight captain i have been told that he is very busy and he don't have a time. since i reached here i have a rash all over my body. i am really concerned about the passengers well being and safety. you really need to take some strong action against this. and do reply me back. with this experience i don't think i will fly again with air Tahiti nui and certainly i wont pass good word of mouth too.i am really concerned about my departure which is on 17th september.
Change of return date for no reason
I traveled to France last November. I had bought my tickets in April 2006, well in advance. A month before my departure, I was notified by the travel agent that my return date had been changed to 9 November instead of November 8, this with no reason attached! The airline warns you that if you decide to change any dates of your trip an additional $200 per ticket will be levied. So, following this principle, it is only normal that they should compensate a person when THEY MAKE THE CHANGE! I've contacted the company but no one has thus far responded. This change of return date Air Tahiti imposed on me caused me to be stranded in Paris a day earlier with an added trip expense of more than $300. I was coming from Marseille November 8 with tickets from Air France which could not be changed either. This happened on 8 November 2006, the very day transit workers in Paris were on strike and a conference was taking place near the airport. My request has been simple: issue me a voucher for my next trip abroad for at least the cost of my extra day in Paris airport.
Thanks for considering my complaint,
A. Mathey
