Aqua Texas Inc This is one of the worst water companies I've ever dealt with

This is one of the worst water companies I've ever dealt with. My bill does not reflect their service. Before I even use a drop of water I am charged over $50 just in service fees. There was a house that burnt down on my street because Aqua Texas, Inc did not have a working fire hydrant that could produce enough pressure close by. The poor lady lost everything, just watched it go up in flames as the firemen tried their best to get water. I found this to be appalling. The water at my place of business gets turned off on a weekly basis, sometimes more than once in one day. When you work with children this is even more unexceptable. For the prices we pay you would expect better service at least. I mean what are we paying for.

Exactly, our water here...it is hard water. It has destroyed my dishwasher, my washing machine and my humidifier. They don't even add a softener to it and you get all this flipping white grunge around the mouth of the faucette. Maybe that is why they could not get any water to put the fire out...the hydrant was probably all grungy. My dishwasher is so full of this white crap...it even eats away at the plastic around the basket the dishes sit in when being washed. We pay $78. For crappy service and for water that tastes like sewage waste and it is disgusting. We buy bottled water from a company because I would not be caught dead drinking it. We do not let the dog drink it either she had white crystals in her urine from this HARD WATER that aqua will not afix a water softner to their water plant. We have a softner attached to the shower head because our skin felt griddy. The clothes smell horrible from the washer and we do not use scented anything therefore it was told to us it is the water. They should fix this because besides paying out our ying yang, this is the 4th dishwasher and 3rd washing machine. Next they will be paying for it in court.

Aqua Texas Inc Worst water we have ever seen

We moved into our subdivision in March 2011, and quickly noticed how HORRIBLE the water is out here.The water here is disgusting to drink, when you take a shower, it leaves a film on your hair, I have to clean our glass shower doors atleast 2 times a week due to horrible soap ###.I must ad that, Windex alone will not take off the soap ### stains.I first have to use a hard water soap ### cleaner, then windex 2 times, and it finally comes clean.I have to do this like I said, atleast 2 times a week.When we water our grass, and it gets on our vehicles, it leaves the same stains.When I clean it off, it feels like sand particles.

I have called 2 times about our water since we moved in and the guy comes out and just says that the water chemicals are at safe, normal levels, and there is nothing they can do about the hard water.I cannot imagine how this water is safe to use.If it is that hard to clean off our our glass, and tubs, what is it doing to the insides of our bodies?I have had family and friends come over and get a glass of water, forgetting what we had already told them about the water, and they can't believe how disgusting the water taste.Something has to be done.This is unacceptable. I have had to install a filter on our shower head, and it has helped very little.We also have a filter on our fridge, and it does nothing.I have been told that maybe a water softener put on our water line would help, but we do not have $2, 000 to pay for one, nor do I think I should have to do that to have good quality water.I will continue to complain until something is done about the horrible water out here.

By the way, ask any person that lives in our subdivision, and they will tell you the same thing that I have.No one likes the water out here.Its a shame we buy a brand new house in a new subdivison, and our water quality is so bad.If I had known this ahead of time, we would have bought where there is city water instead of well water.No one told us about having well water before hand.

We are in Justin and the water has done damage to washers, diswashers, pipes, faucettes, humidifiers...the white crap is unreal that is on the mouth of the faucette. Maybe we all need to get together and file a large suit against them. Have them pay damages on appliances and the new ones we have to buy because their horrible hard water is damaging our water lines, our appliances that use water, and animals. Our dog had this white stuff in her urine. She could have died. We buy bottled water as well because it is not able to be consumed by humans or animals.

Where is your subdivision? We just moved into a new development north of Fort Worth, and we're having similar issues with Aqua. Our water bill is higher than our electric bill, and it doesn't even include our trash pick up. On top, we're having to pay $30-40/month in bottled water just to have water to drink because ours tastes like seawater. We're working on getting a petition on change.org, but there are already several others out there.

Aqua Texas Inc The over billing has been going on for 6 or 8 monthly billings

I was over charged for water not used! My meter reading for March 16, 2011 was estimated by Aqua Texas, Inc. at 361000 Actual read by Marty [Aqua Texas Meter Reader] and my wife, to be 346280. I have called 6 times and was told the Billing would be taken care of. The over billing has been going on for 6 or 8 monthly billings!

When we all went through that big TX freeze...our pipes exploded...our wter was shut off for 3weeks before we could get a plumber out here to come in and help us. We we were still billed as usual and the dude that is from Aqua shut off the water at the road because we told him we could not get a plumber right away. He stated if it was off we would not be billed. Liar...they still billed us when we had not used any water in the house for 3 WEEKS. Thieves! They do not care in the least about the customer as long as they can line their pockets with our money. When my husband called and said to the rude individual in Billing...why haven't we been credited instead of billed? Our water was off for 3 weeks. She hung up and said it was not her problem she only works there she is not an owner. Aqua your customer service, billing reps need to go back to learning how to have manners, be polite, calm the customer down and get the problem resolved instead of saying that bull crap.

We have been without water for more than 24 hours now. Our entire neighborhood has called regarding the outage, and everyone has gotten a different answer. I have 4 people living in our home - 2 adults and 2 teenagers. We can not flush the toilets, shower, wash our dishes or our clothing. This is the worst water company I have ever had the displeasure of being forced to use.
