My name is Erwin Flandez. On Sept 4 2009, I had booked a flight for two to Philippine with my mother. I had issued a check #179 with the amount of $2118.00 to Mr. Rodell to reserve plane tickets for Oct 5, 2009. He issued me an invoice# 3796 with confirmation of my payment in full as well as the time and date of departure and returns flights. On Sept 18th, I had contacted Mr. Rodell to cancel my plane ticket because my brother got sick and diagnosed with stomach cancer by Kaiser doctor. I told Mr. Rodell about this situation, and I asked him if I could get refund. He told me that there will be a penalty for canceling plane ticket, and I agreed about the penalty. He told me that the airline refund may take awhile, and he did not mentioned how long. Month went by and Mr. Rodell has ignored my call at [protected] or [protected]. On November 3rd I decided to stop by to his Travel agency to find out from him about the status of my refund. But on the way to his travel agency, I received call from Mr. Rodell. He mentioned that the refund could be processed if I give him my bank account, so they can electronic deposit directly. He mentioned about the deposit might happened from November 3rd to November 6th. So I agreed to provide the information he needed. Days went by no electronic deposit. So I tried to contact Mr. Rodell but he wasn't there. I left a message to one of his worker on November 6 1145 hrs to expedite the process of my refund by end of business. That afternoon around 1400 hrs (Nov 6), I saw a transaction amount of $909.00. I immediately contacted Mr. Rodell and informed him about the transaction. He mentioned to me that the amount I had received is for the first ticket they had processed with $150.00 penalty. He stated that I should be getting another transaction by the end of business or Saturday Nov 7th for the second ticket. So far I have not received the rest of my refund. The point to this complaint is I have paid both plane tickets in full but this agency is trying to refund me by installment. I had conducted business in good faith, and Mr. Rodell and his travel agency (CST [protected]) had conducted shady business. If you need more information regarding to this complaint, please contact me at [protected].

maybe we should get a compliment not a complain, regarding mr. flandez's refund, we went out of our way to get you a refund because we value you as a customer. if you will look at your receipt, there are restrictions below it and one of those is "non-refundable", we have a copy of the receipt that mr. flandez signed as a proof.
you are right that there was a delay for the refund but we gave you a favor.
