Horrible Website
I purchase shoes at their website and I receive email notification right away about my order. I didn't know that gonna be the last email I'm going to receive from the company. I don't have any status about my package nor tracking number for updates. There's no number to call and only email address to their customer service even retail stores told me that they only email the corporate office. I email them twice and didn't receive any response. They already charge my credit card the same I ordered the shoes. What kind of company they are? No numbers to follow up and nobody's resposnding to your email. I feel bad for the staff that are working in the retail stores because they are the ones getting all the complaints. Is there something you guys should do to this kind of bad customer service?
Damage Boots
I was at your Cathy Jean Store for Christmas and got a pair of boots.
This boots where the last ones in display. When i got home and put them on i notice that they were damage from inside. The stitching around of the top was coming out. I when to the store 3 days later. I got a bad costumer service and they did not want it to give my money back because the manager wan't there.Once the manger arrived she also gave me trouble and in the middle of the conversation she walk out and ignore me. finally i couldn't resolved anything i got store credit. But i'm not happy i want my money back.I keep calling the phone number thay gave me but no answer the store location is topanga mall in canoga, california #93
Never AGAIN!
I WILL NEVER shop at Cathy Jean stores again! First off when I entered the store 2 employees there totally ignored me and gave major attitude. But I ignored it and tried on a pair of boots that i really liked. I ended up buying them because i was kinda desperate for my first pair of brown boots. When I got home and walked around in them ONCE in my house I found to realize that they were SO uncomfortable. So the next day I went back to the store to get a refund, it wasnt even 24 hrs. later, and they refused to give me a return or exchange, because the BOTTOM of the shoe looked worn, when there was absolutely nothing that was wrong! I was so shocked and disgusted that a store could actually be that technical about the bottom of a shoe, that looked perfectly normal. The staff had no empathy and nothing they could do. So I wasted money and had terrible customer service at a store that will not get my buisness ever again. Good job Cathy Jean.
Oh My God, That was exactly my experience except i went back to the store within 5 minutes and they were rude, completely dismissive. Its like they knew they were above any compaints. The sales associate called and blatantly lied to her manager the whole time i looked astonished at how outrageous the whole secne was. I want to contact the right reps at this company. any luck finding who to contact such really bad customer service?
Horrible service
I bought shoes that were the last pair and had to get the ones on display. The shoe on display was a little looser than the one from the box, and I told the sales associate and she said I could probably just wear a sock with one of the shoes and stretch it out before I wear them outside. I also noticed both of the shoes were a little dirty on the bottom as if they had been worn and returned. She told me it was just from being worn around the store. When I took these shoes out a couple days ago to wear, I noticed that the shoes were two different colors. They both had snake skin straps, but one had silver straps and the other had pewter (gold/silver) straps. I figured that the store probably had a mix matched pair so I could get it exchanged to have the same color shoes. The store did not have anymore of those shoes, and offered to let me exchange them for something else. However, another sales associate came out and started arguing with me saying they had been worn when in fact I never wore them. I told her about my conversation with the sales associate I bought them from. She was extremely rude and told me I could wear the shoes and no one would notice they were two different colors. I don't understand how I can wear two different color shoes outside. I left the shoes at the store because they are now useless for me. I definitely won't be shopping at Cathy Jean again after this experience. And I will be sure to tell everyone I know not to shop there.
Mismatched shoes; rude crew; terrible return policy
I bought a pair of boots from a Cathy Jean store in the fashion island at Newport Beach store, then found they were of mismatched sizes. The next day, I went to the store at 445 Los Cerritos Mall (Cerritos, CA 90703) to return them with the receipt.
However, the crew refused my return bluntly, claiming the mismatch would mess up with their inventory. I was told to go back to the original store, 30 miles away to do my return. It's ridiculous since they are of one company, why should a customer being penalized for their mistake? I am not sure if their actucal policy can be this unfair or if the crew made the story up. I am very disappointed by the rude crew and customer service.
I do not think it was bad service to ask you to return a product to where you bought it from. Not excellent service, but not bad.
Horrible Customer Service
Last night I purchased a pair of boots from the store in Town Center Mall, Boca Raton, Florida. When I tried the boots on last night in the store I was wearing leggings. This morning I put them on with a pair of tights and ran out the door for work, when I sat down in my car I felt something poking into my legs so I unzipped the boots and found that there was a hole melted into the lining and it was poking into my leg (runined the tights) so I ran back into the house, changed tights and shoes and ran back to the car. Tonight I took the boots back to the store with the receipt and the store manager was very snotty and told me that there was "no way I can take these back, you've worn them". I've never been treated so rudely my the manager of a retail store. When I asked for the Corporate phone number I was informed that they didn't have a phone number, hmmm a corporation without phones? I did finally get the email address from her but I had to drag it out of her. I love the boots, they're really cute and comfortable but so all I was asking for was a new pair not a refund. I won't stand for being treated like I was trying to "get away" with something.
I got shoes from cathy jean, I wore them for an hour they hurt so much I took them back for Exchange not even a return and the asst mng she say, she could not take them back, and the mng of the store in brea CA say the same thing, I ask for corporate ph nomber they say they dont have one, that they only have e-mail but they say is a waiste of time cause they are not even going to care for what you have to say, its just a complain office an they dont care for customers, that a good company and dumb employees they have a company that dont care for cust... Those words were from the manager at brea...

I feel that this company is a rip off
I feel that this company is a RIP OFF! Ordered a pair of shoes and I was keeping taps on my checking account regarding my order. Here's is how it went, First I waited for the item to arrive at the store here in town (Fresno) it never arrived so I order on line. The charge was pending as of last Sunday and then it dropped off. My bank couldn't understand but to be careful. So I sent an email asking the heck is going on with the order, no response then I called the local store asking how to call the online ordering because they do not list a number, (first guess never deal with a business who you can't contact)even the locals stores cant' speak to someone. Again I sent an email saying I no longer want the item and to please cancel my order, guess what I had the charge tacked on today this morning! Please do not do any business with this company and get caught up in a nightmare. They don't care that you are stressing they just want the money and don't care about you!

The store manager in the Valley Fair, Santa Clara, CA store was so rude... My daughter bought a pair of shoes last Friday and the shoes was broken which can't be worn any more. She went to the store and ask for credit or fixing the shoes. The store manager said they are not Nordstrom. Nordstrom will take back the shoes and send to the Nordstrom rack to resell it. Cathy Jean's policy can't take back the shoes nor fix it. And she said shoes cannot last forever. It will wear out... This reason is really terrible. What kind of customer service is? We just bought shoes one week ago and it was broken. Do we have to take it just because we are not lucky... Well, even the store has such wierd bad customer service policy, she at least should explain in a nice way. Her attitude is just terrible and rude... We'll never go to Cathy Jeans and we'll send mails to all of our friends and my customers to boycott this store... No buy any more...

Bought shoes for 75 shoe said 60 manager did not fix. Very angry.
