This out fit told me they could settle my debit for $1, 000 if i gave that to them, so i came up with the money . well than all of the sudden i was in negative account status with them and to do anymore for me they wanted another $1, 000 so i wisened up and did not give them another dime ! On top of that hey could get my payments to the irs for $120.00 a month, That was to drop all penalties and interest well than they decided they could not get that done so they told me they had a stop on all leins and levys on bank accounts ( Not at all i got a wage garnishment now ! I guess what i'm trying to say is this rip off scam out fit needs to be stopped in there tracs by the law, made to pay back all the money they stole from folks you and I.

I have worked for several of these companies over the past ten years and have the inside scoop on all the major tax resolution companies in Colorado.
For the 411 on these companies: http://taxresolutionincolorado.blogspot.com/2010/05/blowing-whistle-on-colorado-tax.html
If you need any additional information on these companies I'd be more than happy to tell you the truth. My email is tax.truth@yahoo.com
Thanks! I will be contacting them!
Liars and Thieves
I talked to these people in October about my outstanding debt with the IRS and the State of California Franchise Tax board. In our discussions they were adamant that they would be able to significantly reduce the amount owed. They would also be able to stop the current garnishing of my paycheck by the state. I paid them up front, which was a major mistake...

I signed on to work with Clear Creek Consulting in 2008 with help to my tax debt. I got a few calls here and there, I was pushing them off till I was ready to pay them. I got a call from a male every few days asking if I was ready to go, he wanted to get my paper upstairs. I finally paid them 5800 to get this taken care of. I was thinking that I pay them I have to just sit back and relax. I also had a personal case with a business. I gave them my social credit card number for the first payment, then my checking account for the next payment. Someone there must have wrote it down.
About 2 weeks later, my bank there was money missing. I went to the bank and they had to track where the items purchased on the internet were going to. They let me know that it was from a town called Thornton Colorado. I checked on a map where that location is from where the company that I just hired was located and found to be very close.
I have done my research and learned if you do hire Clear Creek Consulting, you are hiring FELONS! I am very surprised that you can get a job with personal information like this being passed around. Please be careful with the information that you are giving to this company. I would hate to see other stories on here about this.
All in all, my bank did refund my money for me, and I hope they are going to find the people that did this to me.
Thank you all and have a blessed day.

If someone calls you on the phone asking for money and claiming to offer any services, and you give them vital information and/or money without seeing a contract in writing and both parties getting signed copies by both sides...it is YOUR fault for getting scammed.
Period.
Yes, what these people do is wrong, but you have to understand that a lot of people in this world are not decent, wholesome, generous, honest people. There are ALWAYS going to be scammers, thieves, crooks, criminals of all kinds...
You have to protect yourselves from these losers.
When someone calls me asking for personal information and money, I wanna see their services in writing first. This way, when they try to screw me over, I have a signed contract, in writing, and proof to take to court.
I read over most of the comments in here...everyone pretty much is saying the same thing...over the phone...no papers sent...$1000 turned into $6000...lies...faulty lawyers you've never talked to and/or seen...I mean, really? lol
I got a call from this number about 8:30am this morning. I slept through it. I woke up around 1pm (late night). I checked my calls to find this out of state number. I called it back and there was little to no ring. The lady who answered talked so fast I didn't hear what she said except "..how may I direct your call?" I just hung up. I googled the number and this popped up. I plan on calling them back to find out how they have my number and if it is the same company as this one.
If they try to say they need money or personal information, I will give them no such thing.
And, as for threatening people they call, as mentioned above, I like to counter offer them a threat of my own. They are usually so used to threatening and scaring people and people not saying or doing anything back. Your threats mean absolutely nothing to me because I know I am the one in the right and I have the leverage (mainly because I haven't given any info and/or money to them)...see how that works? lol
In response to the comment made by RenataJones, this company solicits your business by looking up in court records if you have tax liens filed against you or your company then they call you no knowing the real situation and promise to fix things based on the dollar value of the tax owed...and I who do accounting and bookkeeping over 20 plus years is very suspicious of a guarantee on a flat fee when they do not know all the facts and promise great returns before you even signed, read, or discuss all the details. Its possible they probably do help otherwise they wouldn't still be in business, but they also shouldn't promise a guarantee without all the facts before hand and this is based on several phone conversations I already had with the company promising a guarantee without all the facts of my past situation. My taxes are already paid in full, with them promising a refund on getting some of it back. So not all of us are based on not feeling like not paying the IRS, economy knocked us down sometimes too and payment plans are needed to help pay it off. Especially businesses. All one has to do is look at how the economy was the past five years. One thing I do know about the IRS, they do not like giving back what they have already collected unless one can prove they did something wrong on their end.
I feel that most of the complaints here about this company are most likely from people who weren't upfront about why they actually owe back taxes. These companies can only help you if you have fallen on hard times and are honest, they can't help those of you who simply didn't feel like paying the IRS. I also think it is rather ironic that all the posts here complaining about this company's workforce being juvenile and under educated are rife with grammar and spelling mistakes. I take it that the class action LS didn't get far as original post is from 2009. Also, looked into the company and found that it has grown greatly over the past years despite all the complaints, they must be doing something right. . .
Do not work with this company. They will make promise that the telemarketer has no business making because they have o idea what your circimstances are, but they say all the right things. They will not send me an itemized statement or a a prorated payment amount on the few phone calls they made. I would gladly be on board for a Class Action suit against this company. Just let me know what law firm will be handling it.
I was contacted by Clear Creek today and talked to guy named Alan. Of course, he was very nice and promised me that for $2000 his company could help me remove all penalties and interest from both Fed & State. I have not committed yet. Doing the research first. Has anyone been helped by this company other than the few here? What is Allen like (for those who worked there)? After reading all these blogs, I must say not looking good for getting my business or money.
Wow! I am honestly thinking of going to the IRS alone with my back taxes and let them know that I have been advised poorly and paid money for help. Clear Creek charged me $1500 and said they would do a penalty abatement for me among other things and a year later, no penaly abatement and they want another $2000. I would rather use that to pay down my taxes. This so sucks. A from DC
Why does nothing happen to these people? They are the worst of the worst. I could not afford to lose $4, 000. I feel like turning them in to the IRS. Maybe if they went through an audit, the tables might get turned. I wish that enough of us could get together to file a class action suit against them for fraud and deceptive practices. They should not continue to be in business. They are a "boil on the butt" of society.
B.in Highlands Ranch.
I worked for clear creek, and I HATE the company. I worked in the SC office. The people there are druggies, drinkers, they talk crap about ALL of the clients, and they are NOT "tax specialists". They are no bodies. Most of them never even graduated. A guy tried to kill himself, and they actually still let him work there. They lie all the time, and are very rude on the phone. The bosses all joke about the clients, and when one calls in to complain, the whole company laughs in the end. No employee that gets complained about gets fired. EVER. The honest hard workers like myself, are threatened to be fire all the time if we dont make our "quota". We make so much money off of the people that we get to sign up. I got fired for not being mean and aggressive enough to the clients. I did not get enough people signed up. DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE! the worst one there is Jessica Davis. There are a few people that work there, that genuinely care, but they havent been there long enough to know how the company works. Take care!
I find it amazing that we have one troller who has admitted working for crooks and now trying to drum up business on his own and now we have a possible plant from Clear Creek itself... it would seem that people have no shame. I myself finally hired an actual tax attorney that is local to my vincinity and licensed and certified to negoiate with the IRS and it only cost me 2000.00 and took less than 30 days to finally clear up the whole matter. Of course I still got ripped off for the 6500 dollars that Clear Creek cheated me out of but I guess some lessons are learned the hard way and I hope those at CCC learn theirs too but behind bars where they belong.
Oh yeah and my new lawyer also took all the evidence I had from CCC from their billing procedures to their kids profiles on myspace and turned it over to the IRS's office of professional responsiblity. Good luck, Brandon, Ryan and Chris... I hope that you get all you deserve.
I have also hired Clear Creek and paid over 6800. In return, they provided protection against my IRS Agent that was stopping by my place of business on a regular basises demanding money and threating to take my business. Not to mention the $23k that was saved. Without Clear Creeks help I would not have my business and I would be out of a job. I know that every case is diffrent...I also take 100 percent responsiblity for my failure to pay when I should have. I wont ever be in the position where I'm scared that I wont have a job.
I was treated with respect and Clear Creek always called me to update me on my case. I recomend them to anyone that has any IRS issues. THANKS Clear Creek for your help!
