My website disappeared.
No email, phone call or eff you.
I had been hosting with coolcom for quite a few years when, on January 16th 2017, I went to update a few things.
When I tried to login to my account, my credentials wouldn't work. Ok. Try logging in to cpanel. Nope. Out of curiosity and a growing anxiety, I checked my site. Nothing. Not found.
Looked to see if my domain was available, sure enough it was.
What. The. Eff.
So I went on their ridiculous site, and tried to find a way to contact a human being. Cannot contact through the help desk because I have to log in, can't get a hold of anyone on the phone number listed (greeting states I can leave a message but then the greeting just repeats.)
There's a form on their site stating if I fill out with my contact info, they will contact me. Nope. Nothing.
This is absolutely unacceptable. I've been doing this for a long time and I have never had anything close to this happen.
I will keep trying to call their "phone number" but in the meantime am transferring to a new hosting account; THEY WILL NOT GET ANOTHER PENNY FROM ME.
Bad service, bad product
These guys are evil. They change their contract terms whenever they want and they make it VERY hard or cost a lot of money to get a domain transfer from them. DO NOT HOST there.
