Hello Ritter Family, I just wanted to take time out to sit down and write a review and also give you a update on how (Dew) AKA (Romeo) is doing. First let me just say thank you from the bottom of my heart he has a great personality, very lovable & smartest Chihuahua ever. I couldn’t have been happier with my pick and I have you to thank for that. I have...

Cornerstone Farms Selling sick puppies

This breeder is selling sick puppies. When you have a problem with them, Debra Ritter ( Owner ) attempts to bully, intimidate, and fabricates to attempt justification of what you are complaining about and their sick puppies. Please go to Pissedconsumer.com and look up their name also Yelp.com to look at the complaints this breeder is getting. On Yelp there is a place that the breeder writes about how wonderful they are and in the top left corner of that box is a number then filtered (10 filtered) click on that to see the hidden complaints. They had their friends make accounts and "defend" them, those accounts were then deleted. They fly puppies anywhere and send a "contract" that basically says you agree to the terms when you take possession of the puppy. You don't get this so called contract until after you already have the puppy because the airline certainly doesn't give it to you, it's taped to the kennel. Shady shady people and they breed numerous breeds constantly, sounds like a puppy mill to me.

Hey Kaitlyn,
I got a dog from your family a few years ago..It was one of your sister Emma's. What you are not understanding is that people dont care for their money back. They dont want a sick dog in the first place. You are sending sick dogs to people and those dogs are contaminating other dogs and PEOPLE! Giardia is very contagious and people and dogs get it from each other. Even if you guys did give money back it is not a fraction of vet and human doctor bills. Your parents should be in jail, and you should be re-programmed. Your parents are sick in the head to do this to healthy people and families. They consider themselves G-d's people? That is pathetic.

Only the their vet said it was indisputable. Our vet said the puppy was healthy and had no signs of ANY illness prior to travel. The family is not telling the whole truth and then we let them keep the puppy but gave them a full refund. Oops...she forgot that part when she posted here.

Cornerstone farms has a vet give a cursory physical exam on the day the dog is shipped. The vet signs a certificate of health that states, among other things, " I hereby certify that the above animal is free from and has not been exposed to contagious, infectious or communicable disease". My dog arrived with Parvo, a very contagious, infectious, communicable disease. Because of the incubation period of Parvo, it is indisputable that the puppy had Parvo prior to shipping.

We at Cornerstone Farms have all of our babies checked by a board certified licensed vet ONE day prior to travel. We work very hard with our vet to insure healthy puppys. We also offer a LIFETIME health guarantee which covers ACCIDENTS as well as congenital issues for the first two years and then congenital issues for the lifetime of the dog. We have 3 phone numbers as well as email to communicate. We have been in business since 1995. Wouldn't still be here if we were always selling sick pups. We apologize to the person posting here and encourage them to contact us. We don't recognize them as a purchaser from Cornerstone Farms. Blessings...The Ritter Family
