Avoid Dallas Pro Web Design

After four turn overs of the design team, numerous rounds of missed deadlines, ignored comments and misspellings we have had to rebid our project and chargeback the fees paid on the credit cards.

Avoid Pro-Web design . Save your money and time

David Alford *aka* Max Steel is a thief, a con artist, a liar, and a deceiver. He owes me several thousand dollars that I will never see from working for him. He refuses to pay employees, and fires them via text message, phone call, or e-mail when confronted. I personally know that he has taken advantage of unsuspecting customers, sucking money out of them for services that he did not provide. To prove how fake of a person David is, check out his Facebook profile. Funny how he cannot even do business under his own name because people, employees & clients, are finally speaking out about how he treated them unjustly. He has been doing this for years and will never change. Something must be done to put this crook away for good.

NOT ACCREDITED BY THE BBB
NEVER RECEIVED WEBBY AWARD
NEVER RECEIVED AWARD BY JD POWERS
THEY HAVE BEEN "WORKING" ON MY SITE FOR 5 MONTHS OVER THE CONTRACT LIMIT
DAVID ALFORD DOESNT PAY HIS DESIGNERS SO THEY LEAVE (INSIDER INFORMATION)
MANY PEOPLE ARE HAVING PROBLEMS WITH PWDS
call who you have to, to get your money back. I did my research and i have the emails of INC 500 and JD powers if you need to verify. With this information i was able to get paypal to open my case past 45 days. it is March 9, 2011 and i opened my case for all charges. From my most recent to my very first payment in August of 2010! File a claim with IC3, a government funded, internet fraud organization, call paypal, call your bank, Stop doing business with PWDS! i am currently fighting for my money (over $6000)

ALso has anyone noticed, if you called pro web designers, that if you get charged through paypal that its ETAILORPRO and not PWDS!?!?!?! well that is because they really do business under ETAILORPRO! they actually have a few URL's

Just read david's post himself (the owner of dallas pro web) about the woman who complained and you'll see his true character- which reflects the character of his company. He also made many spelling errors in just those few paragraphs, showing his attention to detail: the same attention my website got from their company.

david is a liar and the whole company is a scam. they have drawn our website design on now since june (8months) and after 4 different "lead developers, " numerous missed deadlines and false promises, we've finally given them a deadline to return our money. They coerced us in to signing our contract by claiming they had won numerous awards and were part of the Inc 500- neither of which turned out to be true. Don't waste your money or time.

HAHAHAHAHA. This man is a thief and a liar. I love this quote "But since I heard last they are working form their house and both live with their parents and barely getting enough work to pay for their beer a pot". Very funny David, we're actually working on very high profile sites these days like the Atlanta Transit Authority and musical artist like (http://www.machelmontano.com) and Pitbull. But you can keep slandering us if you want, it's what you do best.

The truly sad thing about David is that he hires employee after employee after employee and does not pay them, resulting in his team turning over to a new leaf of developers in the middle of client projects. After the Studio 422 team left, he did this to a VERY talented developer named Mario, and after that he did it to a very talented developer named Allan. Both of which I was good personal friends with before they ever even knew David. He also stabbed his best friend Tony in the back. Tony was giving everything he had to keep the place running legitimately.

The night the I decided to quit, I was talking with Tony over the phone, voicing my concerns over non payment and I heard David walk by and say "Don't tell him we might not be able to pay whether we can or not".

Secondly, David is FULL OF CRAP when he says that he's in for ANY awards. That is so hilarious it makes my side hurt laughing. They're not in for any awards and the last I saw he had a pile of lawyer notes on his desk asking him to remove the false advertising for "fortune 500" and other prestigious claims from his website.

Last thing, about us doing business with Ex Clients. We NEVER went to seek out ex employees after we left. The truth of the matter is that I was only employed there for 1 week without pay. I didn't even know any of the clients. I wasn't stupid enough to let David's tricks fool me. My good friend and now partner in business dealt with David's BS for nearly 3 months while his wife and daughter suffered because of David's bad business practices. As far as the TWO ex clients that 422 Studios took on after leaving David, they found US on the internet and CALLED US. Both came from the complaints boards and wanted to work with us because we knew their projects and they wanted it to be as painless as possible. Both customers were highly pleased because we actually know how to service our customers.

Anyways, thanks for the laughs David. You're always a hoot. How you're not in jail yet... I don't know.

We have been in business since 2001 and have never had any complaints till now. These complaints are the result of hiring the wrong lead developer to run our development department. It has since been fixed and since then we have reformed and talented team of developers and designers that are pleasing our clients daily. We are even runners up for this years Webby Awards, Sammy Awards and Peoples Voice Awards in design, New Web Application and Customer Service. Ya I said it " customer service" we are runners up for a customer service award. We do not take this lightly, Never have and never will. Our clients are the reason we are business and the reason we are still in business. If we did not make all but these 2 happy I do not think we would have made it in business this long. So you can take these posts for what you want but don't let it stop you form at least giving us a call. Give us the chance to show you how doing business with us will make your business better and stronger for it. We don't just do website design, we provide our clients with a tool to market their business. We enhance who they are through the web and through content. Your website is direct extension of your business and we are the best at portraying this to your customers or visitors. Our #1 goal is to make sure you are successful. We employee some of the best in this business, and some of the best marketing people you have ever seen and they know how to make your business shine online. I took the time to post a rebuttal below to the 2 people above and you can read it if you like. There are always 2 sides to a story, but i say why bother. 2 out of thousands is not bad if you ask me. Actually if you compare it to our current client base you would conclude that we are one of the best companies in the US.

Of FYI the guys that posted "The only two members of that team that new what they were doing, broke off from this idiot and started a real studio. I just found them at http://www.422studios.com" are thrieves. They are the ones that caused these 2 people to complain and then did business with these ex employees. Very unethical and unmoral boys. The are young kids that think they are some hot shot developers and had to steal several of our clients that they were working to try and get their own thing going. But since I heard last they are working form their house and both live with their parents and barely getting enough work to pay for their beer a pot. I don't wish anyone bad luck or ill harm but these guys hurt some of the people who work here when they pulled this crap. These people have families and responsibilities and the whole thing almost put us out of business. 2 kids can cause allot of problems...But as I have said they only made this company stronger and better, Who knows we may have gone through life and never crossed paths with these boys, but we did and we are better and have put things in place to make sure our clients are never subject to such unethical practices.

Mrs Leanna with Panning for the Future.com or planning for the future pays us in to stages. 1st a deposit to begin the project, stage 2 which is when the design is to be done and approved she was to pay another installment. She happily paid it per her agreement. So this lady with Planning for the future after paying us 2 payments decided not one week after the second payment and the approval of her design that she all of sudden does not like the design and wants her money back. What happened with here is she realized she did not have enough money to finish the project. Which is fine but she still has to pay for the work. We do not work for free. We will work until you are happy that is not a problem, but you do not hire someone to do work for you then half way through decide you want you money back. Her contract clearly states that here refund is non refundable, but because she paid with American Express all she has to do is say " I did not authorize this charge and they instantly give the money back without questions" As a result we no longer take American Express and will never take American express again and we are not the only ones. There are literally hundred of complaints on them for the same reason American Express — merchant account here is one right here on complaint board. So anyway she either didn't have enough money to finish or the same employee that was working for us got a hold of her as well. Either way we learned a very valuable lesson as a business both on the hiring end and the credit card processing end. Been in business since 2001 and never had these problems till we hire so shady developers in 2010.

Anyway if you are a business or someone looking to get a website and are considering using us do not let these isolated incidents bother you. We do on average of 80 to 100 website each month and 2 people complaining is great if you ask me. However I wish we had none at all and have done several sites since these showed up online and the person new about them. I guarantee if you look around you will find more good reviews about us than these 2 isolated incidents. Its ironic but they both happened at the exact same time only this lady with Planning with the Future did not post hers until our attorney and collection company started calling her.

You can check for yourself but her website was suppose to be planning for the futre or planningforthefuture.com and you will find she has yet to have a website designed and she got every bit of her money back that she paid us. The truth is she still owed us another $4, 000 and we knew the day she called and started acting like the world had ended she did not have the rest to pay. maybe she had a death in the family, maybe she lost her real job and needed the money badly. No one really knows the story and no one will. There are always to sides to every story and this is ours. We did everything we could to make her happy and even offered to discount the balance and she refused and again simply called American Express and they give her the money back instantly right or wrong.

I had a similar experience. My credit card company refunded the money to me as well. Now David has engaged a collections agency and they are threatening to sue me.
