I looked at my credit report and saw that Kay Jewelers still reporting as in collections.
Fake debt collector
This company has been harassing me for the past few weeks trying to get me to pay on a power bill that is over 3 years old and has already been paid off.
When I sent them a debt validation letter via certified mail they emailed me back with a suspect looking invoice for a 22.90 "agency fee" plus 100+ in late fees.
After showing them that the account was already settled and that the 22 dollar charge was bogus they threatened to harm my credit report if I did not pay today.
On top of that this whole agency seems to be a scam. The address is not even valid and is instead a UPS store meaning they dont even have a real office. Just a UPS box and maybe someone calling out of their garage?
Either way Element Global Services is a fraud and any calls about debt collection NEED to be validated before being paid.
Do not blindly pay these crooks your money. That is what they thrive on. To put fear into your mind so that you pay the fake debt.

The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I live in Pennsylvania and I keep receiving a call from [protected]. The carrier for this number is Sprint Spectrum LLC and the location is Philadelphia, PA. I received several phone calls with voice prompt to press one and you will be directed to an Agent and it goes on to make reference to collecting a debt for their client. I investigated the number and found that it belongs to Element Global Services. I know that living in PA, if you do have an outstanding debt for whatever reason to collect the debt you must follow The Pennsylvania Statute of Limitation On Debt, 42 Pa. C.S. 5525(a). If they are attempting to collect a recent debt that is less than four years old you may want to seek Counsel, because they can sue you in court. Also, I would never answer any phone calls, especially in a time when spoofing and spammers are making attempts to take advantage of a person(s) and making them victims. If you decide to answer them I would inform them you want all original records on the debt sent to you physical address plus, if, possible have it certified so they don't try any deceptive practices. The only people that can freeze or seize your assets immediately is the Government anyone else must take you before a court in a civil suit and the court decides and then if you must pay said debt and you don't then they can contact the court and go after you bank accounts. I would also check what your state statutes of limitations specify on limitation of debt
They stated if I didnt pay they would put a lein on my car and have it towed away
