Terminated my long-term pro account without explanation, and then sent a no information explaination.
Pro account since 2008, always paid. Said I was in violation of TOS but did not cite the violation. I asked for more information and received only a repeat of the prior message. Almost 500K views over the years. I believe someone at Flickr was offended by my political Meme postings. Is Flickr going Woke? That would be a shame for such a good service, and is it good business to throw away the paying customers?

The administrators of Flickr website have allowed my account to go into a corrupt states. I can neither create a new account, nor sign into a "supposedly" still active account. I am unable to contact Tech Support due to the fact that there is no contact number or e-mail contact.

CRIMINAL THEFT
In March of 2010, I purchased a year's membership to this business. I immediately uploaded perhaps 5, 000 images to post on Myspace. Some weeks later, FLICKR modified their program, never again allowing me to see the images HTML code, rendering this account useless.
I contacted them wanting an explanation of when I would be able to use this progam, and FOUR TIMES FLICKR assured me that " Thank you for contacting Flickr Member Support.
I have escalated your email to a senior representative in an effort to obtain the best answer. Please allow up to 7 days for us to respond to your question, as we are
experiencing a higher than expected volume of requests.
In the meantime, please feel to check out our online FAQs:
FOUR TIMES and NOT ONCE did anyone bother to contact me, so we could resolve this.
I awoke this morning to learn that FLICKR had cancelled and deleted my account, and they will not refund my money at all.
$24.95 is not a lot of money, but their answer to my problems was to ERASE my total involvement. And for the money, I only got three week's use of their hosting program.
### YOU, FLICKR.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
My 47$ 2 years pro-account that I purchased less than 2 months ago was deleted without warning nor reasons. When I asked why, I received the same answer you got, and later another mail talking about "uploading images" which weren't by myself... I answered I was able to prove all my posts were by myself, but haven't yet recived an an answer.
That's theft.
Bad customer service
After NUMEROUS attempts at trying to get answers regarding my recently terminated account, Flickr customer support has been anything but supportive. The only responses I get are automated, no one can seem to tell me HOW my account was in violation of their TOS. This leads me to believe that they don't know how it was in violation either, and since they've deleted it, they're just trying to cover their ###. Sorry, but they deleted over 13, 000+ images (that I can't get back) and over a years worth of work. So an explanation is the LEAST they can do. And no, another "This account was in violation" won't cut it. In violation of what?! That's the question that I'm waiting for an answer to. If an error was made on Flickr's part, the least they can do is own up to their mistake and apologize for it. I'm standing in the middle of their customer service department, screaming at the top of my lungs, and NO ONE is listening.

It bothers me that flickr does not post my photos in their correct 4 by 6 or 5 by 7 dimensions on my computer screen. I think they get distorted by changing the dimensions and lose their quality.
Flickr does not allow you to take your own photos back! Never use Flickr!
says i can get unlimited mp3 downloads for a yearly fee of $18. i paid my $18 and there are no mp3 downloads, just picture downloads, if i want pictures i'll take the myself!
I have a problem with Flickr too.
As a pro member it is my right to download my own photos in original size. Bute the transfer it in friendly size.
They admit mistake, but they suggest again to pay for a pro...even my pro is stil valid.
Every time their answer is the same; they are writing about everything but the solution of problem.
I told them we will got tou the court, but they still answering like a spoiled Lp...
I have also tried to contact somebody in Yahoo, but no answer..
I have had the same problem. No explanation as to why my account was deleted. None. And I too am a pro-account user.

I have to agree with Sebastian: Flickr´s customer service is not only bad, but also unconsidered, arbitrary and disrespectful. I lost hundreds of hours working to create a wonderful portfolio, which I consider was an excellent contribution to Flickr’s community. The design and functionality of Flickr is very good, but their business way is absolutely disgusting. I will not recommend the use of this tool, there are much better alternatives, among them Joomeo.com. Try this one and save yourself an unpleasant experience with Flickr
Read my review. These people are [censor]. My pictures were NOT in volation of anything; they decided that they would simply pocket my money, NEVER RESPOND, and deletedmy ccount with NO explanation.
