Gamesaver Subscription Internet Cy Cannot Cancel Membership

I have a charge that keeps appearing on my bank account and I want to cancel it but there is no way to do that and I don't even know what gaming website it is connected to. It just says Gamesaver Subscription Internet Cy. I have looked it up on the internet and all I can find is websites where people are complaining that they are having trouble with this same company and product. I want it cancelled, and I want it cancelled NOW! But there seems to be no way of cancelling it. Does anybody know what gaming website it is for so I can go to that site and cancel this thing?

I just did this, a bit round about way but i will tell u next month if it worked

In order to cancel, you must first be logged in to your account.

To login, please visit us at: http://games.yahoo.com/downloads.

1.Select a game that you do not already own and click on the Buy Full Version of the game. (Please note, you do not need to complete a purchase in order to cancel.)
2.Enter your Yahoo! ID and password.
3.Once logged in, you can click on the Yahoo! Games subscription FAQ located at the bottom left of the page.
4.Under How do I cancel my membership? there is a link. By clicking on that link, you will be redirected to the Yahoo! Games Subscription Program Status page where you can either cancel your membership (with your cancellation fee, if applicable) or continue.
Please note that if you cancel your membership before you have paid for the minimum number of months in your commitment, you will be charged for the remaining months on your membership. For every month you are charged, you may redeem one game. All games must be redeemed within 60 days, after which your right to redeem the games is lost.

I went to edit billing info to find the how to cancel link and then i just clicked a confirm button

Has anyone found an answer to how to cancel Gamesaver Membership charges on there cards, I have send E mails and tried to long on to the gamesaver members site and it tells me I dont have an account or sign-on name, but my charge card is getting a 10.48 charge for the last 3 mos. and no phone # to cantact anyone about this, Please Send any info to me at Tdraym@adelphia.net Thank you, Tim Moeller.

Hi,

I have had this problem as well and I believe it was done either through Yahoo Games or HP Game Console, I couldn't ever get a straight answer from yahoo or oberon media when I called them.. When you purchase a game you have the option to pay 29.99 for it or sign up for monthly subscription and get the game for $6.95. The only way I found to cancel it was cancel the card I used to sign up for it. My original charge was for 48 something and then every month after was 6.95 a month.

Gamesaver Subscription Internet Cy want membership cancelled

I do not remember signing up for a membership program with this outfit, and they are billing my Visa acoount with a monthly charge of $6.95, and I am unable to find a customer service phone number to tell them, that I DO NOT WANT THIS TO CONTINUE. If I choose to download any more games, which I do not plan to do, I will pay at that time. I will be contacting the Visa Department to put a block on and more charges. Please advise me as to what to do, or supply me with a contact number to cancel these charges.

Gamesaver Subscription Internet Cy unauthorized charge

I ordered my free game download and was charged by Gamesaver Subscription Internet Cy $41.70. Needless to say, I can't get in touch with this company. You seem to just get directed to voicemail. So far, no one has gotten back in touch with me by email.

My emails with these IDIOTS! I knew I was entering a subscription but I can't get them to fix the problem. I don't think credit cards should process payments without a valid customer service # from the merchant.

This is my problem, would you please read the whole email before responding!

On January 7th, I signed up for the Gamesaver Subscription on Yahoo Games for the 7.95/6 month subscription and picked one game.
On January 12th, I decided to buy another game at the subscription price of 7.95. When I bought the second game there was a note saying it
did not count toward my subscription, which I understood.

Recently, while looking through my emails, I was concerned I may have signed up for two subscription so I contacted your company on February 6th.

This was the content of those emails:

2/6/2010 - 7:34 a.m.
Your company:

Recently you requested personal assistance from our on-line support center. Below is a summary of your request and our response.
If this issue is not resolved to your satisfaction, you may reopen it within the next 7 days.
Thank you for allowing us to be of service to you.

Dear Kathleen,
We apologize for the problems that you are having with your game.
If you could give us a little more detail as to the problems you are experiencing with your game we'd be better informed to assist you.
If you would:
1. Please explain the exact problem that you are experiencing, with as much detail as possible.
2. Please include the website that you purchased your game from.
3. The name of the game you are having problems with.
4. Any error messages that you receive.

I registered a complaint with Oberon against gamesaver subscription for an unauthorized charge to my account that took place when I downloaded my free game for the month.

I reached Oberon support by emailing customer service at (oberonsupport@maileu.custhelp.com) I received a response 2 days later but had already been told that it could take up to 48 hrs for a return response. I would like to share the following because it may help someone else.

We apologize for the inconvenience. Due to a system billing error, it appears you were over billed for your monthly membership fee. I have issued you a refund in the amount of $ 34.75, which is currently being processed and should be reflected on your next billing statement. Please be advised that refunds generally take 3-5 days to be completed and should post to your account shortly thereafter.

Our records indicate that you are currently signed up for a Platinum Y! Games Subscription membership which is a 12 month commitment. You are billed $6.95 per month and are issued 1 game credit per month.

If you cancel your membership right now, you will be billed one charge of the remaining balance on your account ($34.75) and will be immediately given all remaining game credits (5) that will be good for the next 60 days, after which they expire and cannot be redeemed.

To access your account and proceed with the cancellation, please go here:

Please click on "buy full version" of any game and you will be able to sign into your account. When you have signed in, there is a Y! Gamesaver Subscription Internet Cy no purchase , but charged

Purchased "Cubis Gold 2' 3/29/09 for 30.13, CD included. Contacted Oberon repeatedly in hopes of downloading the game.
could not overcome problem so gave up. The CD came in and I entered that into my PC. I settled for that tho very high price for the amount of game received.
Then, with out notice to select another game or my ordering a game Gamesaver Subscriptions Internet Cy drafted my bank account for 10.75 on 4/30/09. Something is very wrong!
I want my money refunded!
If you have me listed with a subscription, which I've not ordered, please cancel it. I am afraid to do further business with you!

If you originally bought a game through msngames.com then that is where you need to go to cancel your subscription. I was seeing the same charges on my credit card and did the same thing apparently evryone else was doing then found that msn has a gamesaver as well. I simply went on and dug through the site till i got into FAQ's and found the spot that I could cancel the member ship... Good Luck

i've been charged 10.75 for the past year... Oberon software will now be cracked and distributed over torrent sites... so to anyone who wants oberon software it is now free through torrent sites. Recompense is due. Oberon you steal from me...I steal from you...Your move Oberon.

Well, at least I know the issue is with Oberon (after reading all of these posts). My charges lasted 4 months so only lost about $50 CDN; called RBC and they cancelled my Visa and had a new one sent to my branch - quick and easy. If you don't already do this, consider having a separate Visa for online usage only... one that doesn't have auto payments going through so if you need to cancel, it's no big deal. Cheers.

After reading all of the above I decided I have tried everything I can to resolve this with Oberon. I have been charged $7.95 EVERY week for 2-3 months & can no longer accept the fact that they simply don't respond or if they do respond, they tell me that the email address they have on file is not the same email address for my account! BULL! I just got done filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau & I'm sure I will be hearing something VERY soon from one or both of them. You should all do the same. Be sure to let the BBB know your complaints or this company will continue to thrive!

I am so glad i am not the only thats going thru this. i dont know what the hell but this BS ### company just took $27.08 out of my account. the sad part is i didnt have but 29.00 in my account got me going to the store to purchase somthing just for my card to decline cuz of there A$$. i am so pissed off. and i dont even remeber downloading nothing hell the games on my puter i paid for at the time of purchase...oh umm bout to hunt these people down over my 27.08 dollars

I have a question. Where can I go to downloads the games that Gamesaver Subscription is suppose to offer. If I'm entitle to one free download a month and I am paying for it, them I might as well catch up with all the games they have been charging me for month after month. Gamesaver Subscription Internet Cy no purchase but charged

3/29/09 I purchased the game 'Cubis Gold 2' for downloading to my PC . Order total of $30.13 included a CD ($7.95). After corresponding with the company repeatedly I gave up on downloading the game. By that time the CD had arrived and I put that on my PC tho I think it didn't have the complete game. O.K., I settled for that although $30.13 too high of a price for what I got.
Now, tho not receiving any notice to select, nor ordering anything, I see on my bank statement that I have been charged $10.75 on 4/30/09 by Gamesaver Subscription Internet Cy which it seems is affiliated with Oberon-Media.

This just isn't right...thus my compliant.

Hi I am owed two credits and can not retrieve them I told them I had lost my password and the e-mails back was gobbledigook until I was given this web address . The excuses were all on my side 1 behind fire wall 2have sent password but where? I do have a fire wall But they have sent me games before when paying full price and not £6.95 I would like to receive what you owe me the two games but the password you send is nowhere to be found and I put in word you wont accept what now?
