No parts in stock
Purchased a buggy from them this year. After some use, I needed a front rim for it. GIO could not get a new rim for three months. It had to be shipped in from China. I am finding parts are unique and MUST be ordered only from GIO. What makes it worse, is that actually contacting someone from GIO is very difficult. They never seem to answer the phone. For a small item like this, GIO insisted it had to be shipped to me. I was not able to pick it up.
A VERY unhappy customer.

Bad service
Bought a GIO 1101Q (11hp) snowblower in winter of 2008. This winter, I had a part break on the machine and when called for new part Gio Bikes stated that they no longer carried this model of snowblower and did not have the part I needed. Unfortunately, no one else carries this machine so I am out of luck for the part. I did not think that not even a year later that they would not carry all the parts for this machine.

I would just like to say for the price you paid for the snowblower, deal with it suck it up. If you want something with good parts availability nd service go buy a honda or john deere.
A few years ago a poster with your alias re-posted a complaint about me that some else had originally posted. The original complaint had no merit what so ever. Therefore the re-post had no merit. The whole thing has hurt my relationship with my family. Just like with the post about me, you like to join ("member since") each time you complain about someone. I can see how no one would really take Afur74 seriously if they saw just how many complaints Afur74 makes per unit time. So you go out of your way to make site users believe your not just a whiner. I believe you have the right to complain about anything that you personally feel ripped off about. Even if you are the most ripped of person on the face of the planet. In my case though, Afur74 re-posted a complaint someone else made a year before. Why would someone do that? He/she/(you) did it anonymously, with even the United States location being vague. I thought this was a cheap shot. In the unlikely event that you are a different Afur74 disregard this. Though you really do complain a lot.

I have a Gio x31 dirt bike it is 4 years old I only had to order 1 part so far a clutch cable. I ordered it from Gio on line and it got to my door in 36 hours I think the bikes are good for what you pay. I agree the auction are likely rigged. I would buy from a dealer and get a proper PDI very important because most people are going to screw up the build on the bike and that is the main cause of poor results also proper care of the product check all your nuts and bolts every ride. Even on the brand name bikes you have to do this real rides know this!
i have the same problem bought 2 bikes one broke in the first 2 miles and still waiting for them to send parts other one had to buy new batterys from another dealer not happy with service if anybody out ther thinking legal action keep posted
i have had the same problems with there scooter bought 2 of them one broke in the first 3 miles the other didn t come with battery s missing they sent 4 new battery s all were junk broken or craked the second one rear bearings gone still waiting
I was taken in by this company, they run an auction site promising low prices but if I had done my home work first before I purchased I would have realized that the prices are only low to start but are run up by bidders. If you look closely it is the same 3 or 4 user names bidding on ALL items. I personally believe it is the site operators running up these prices. I say this beceause if you go to the review section of their web site you can see only "GOOD" reviews and all reviewers give 5 stars even if the coment is bad. They "cook " the review section which leads me to believe they would "cook" the auction section. When I did recieve the propuct I ordered it arrived damaged. After several dozen emails, I finally got a responce which in short told me what i could do with myself. These shisters also operate on ebay canada with very deceptive practices under an assumed name Sven99 I found this out the hard way as well. They operate only on the .ca site as the rules on the .com site prohibite such diseptive and misleading practices. Check online forums and you will find GIO=JUNK BEWARE. Many have fallen victum to this company. There is a phone number listed but no one EVER answers. There Products are cheeply made and assembed worse. There are stories of peploe online useing there bike for the first time and major parts falling off. That is if they managed toeven get it running in the first place.
