Grant Masters Fraud

Ok, I have been reading this morning - the complaints regarding this company. Basically, people are promised a so-called CD with whatever information it is that they are inquiring about. For me, it was a Google Kit, for others, it was grants. It all comes back to this one company, Grant Masters.
They have a ton of phone numbers to call...all, of course, leading to places unknown, and definitely not in America.
Most of the numbers leave you holding, and no one ever picks up. If you do get through, it's nothing but run-arounds and dead ends.
We had supposedly cancelled our "subscription" on 6/4, yet saw on our account today, double the origional charges! I am a stay-at-home mom with nothing but time on my hands, so... I started calling around.
I finally got ahold of the correct company (I'm sure they're all connected), and spoke with a person named Jezebel (?) - lol - and after her telling me that the charges were for the exact thing I had already cancelled, she did not argue (which was a change of pace), and instead, stated that she would authorize a full refund of the current charges, and email me a cancellation notice (which I did not receive the first time).
I am on here to let anyone know who has been defrauded by this company, that I will keep you informed if I do indeed get the email and my money returned. If I do, I will post the number I called, and hopefully it will help others.
If I do not see both of these things happen, I will be posting an email address (that I will create solely for this purpose) to which I would appreciate anyone who has been scammed, to write and give me their email addresses and information regarding their specific scam (grant, google, etc.).
I don't want any personal info, just to clarify. All of the emails I will receive, I will forward to authorities as a petition to open an investigation into this company (or further aid in any ongoing investigation). This goes beyond a scam - it is fraud - they do not follow through with providing the services for which you initially pay (i.e. - the "CD'). Therefore, they have technically voided their own contract and you should not be held liable for any further charges.
I am not a lawyer, to clarify that as well! Just a severely pissed off mother with little money and a lot of time on her hands. The one thing that truly gets me is when someone messes with my family. And they have done just that by stealing our money.

Thank you for reading, and I will keep you posted!

I recently ordered a CD for Google for $1.97 and never received the CD. Last month their was $72.00 being taken out of my account from another company because of this and I got that taken care of, and now Grant Masters is taking $38.34 out of my account this month. There is no phone number or address attached to it that the bank can give me to call the people to tell them to cancel this. I have googled it and have still not found anything. I did finally find a phone number for them and called Grant Masters and of course I'm not in their system. I have been doing more research and have discovered there is more than 1 phone number for this place, how do I know which is right? So I have gotten no where and would like my money back! Any ideas on what to do about this? E-mail me at notwgirl25@aol.com.

Grant Masters charged my account on June 2, 2009 for $38.34. They were not authorized to do so... I've never heard of them and it's a new card! I tried calling but no answer. I've sent the data to the FBI field office near me (easy to find on line). I hope everyone tells the FBI so they get shut down. I plan to follow up with a phone call to the FBI tonight when I get off work.

Well these snakes are prolific... seems they reached Canada too. Same problem as everyone else... I was curious about an ad by Google on Facebook and applied for info about working from home ( I've learned my lesson). Next thing I know I got two withdrawls from my Visa card for $45.08. I cancelled my card right away and will be filling a complaint everywhere I can think of ... lets get these ... Fraud hurts everyone.

I have also had the same problem first with blazing words finally got some one to refund my money, which I am still waiting for.Now today I recieved my visa bill With more charges on it from Grant master's.I called and freaked out with threats to the police and visa and who ever else I could think of.The guy on the phone(Peter) was his name said that when you sign up for one all your personal information is passed around to the same types of sites who already have your card numbers because of the first company. So anyone who tried to get the google thing for 1.97 he said there was a small box at the top explaining that your info is shared to other sites, which is why we are all getting charges for other things we didn't even sign up for.So far I have been promised a refund for the first one, and he was sending a report to the grant master's requesting that they give me back my money. Also when I said I was cancelling my visa card he said if I did they would not be able to credit my card...sounds fishy to me.When I call my card company tomorrow I will find out about that. The number I called was the one above [protected].Thanks and hope everyone gets their money back.

I guess I'm not alone on this. I was billed $73 this morning and the number on my statement was disconnected. Looks like everybody else had the same problem. but yeah so my bank was able to track down the right number for me - [protected]. I called them and got my money back. Hope this helps. Good luck.

Charged my debit card without my authorization. These people are exchanging card information to where we need to cancel all cards and replace them. Then, never do business over the internet with card or account information. Phone orders are no longer safe either. My list of scam artist start with: Reservation Rewards-[protected], I-PlanFinances-[protected], and then Grant Masters.

Grant Masters Unauthorized charges

Well, to my surprise this morning i found out that 77.00 had been charged to my debit card so i called my bank to see what the charge was even for since i didnt remember buying anything for that amount and all they could tell me was that i should close my debit card down so they could not take anymore money out and told me the name of the company which being, "GRANT MASTERS", who the heck is this anyway? So as i write this i am just sitting on the phone on hold just waiting and waiting for an available customer service agent supposedly but then i saw this! But i have a feeling it isn't going to do much good! What do you do about something like this... where i have never had to deal with anything like this before!?! This is totally rediculous! Anyone have any idea's?

Yes... Thanks for your advice! I have already done so with the bank and closed my debit card and ordered a new one so no other charges can come off now! "I'm hoping anyway!" But i did find a phone number for GRANT MASTERS and after holding for about 45 minutes i finally got to speak with someone and she "said" supposedly that they are going to credit the 72.87 back to my card but that it will take 7-14 buisness days so i guess i just will have to wait and see but ALSO to my surprise the number i called is apparently linked with alot of other companies doing the same thing bc there was another charge looking to post to my account tommorrow in the amount of 38.00 and some odd cents but it was for a company called "Blazing keywords"! ? I was just like what is THAT? I have never heard of that but she gave me a confirmation cancelation number for both charges (not sure how true to their word that is exactly though) but yes closing the card is about all you can do and just WAIT unfortunately but i do have the number for them if you need it! But all in all this whole this just astounds me and started my friday off with a bang! Hope this helps... Emily from ALABAMA

The "grant masters" website was unavailable so I couldn't find out any direct info, but your bank should actually help you reverse the charges. If they suspect ID theft, they'll issue you a new card. That's probably the simplest way.
