After receiving the box, I am surprised to find out that I only have 2 units, instead of 4. It was very hard to understand the phone ordering process. Furthermore, the Free product is not free, it is charged $14.50 for each. I tried it, very hard to clean, slow to heat up and cook. Call customer service to return, got the return code, that's all. GT Xpress 101 GT XPRESS 101'S ARE JUNK

I PURCHASED THE GT XPRESS 101 FROM THE INFORMERCIAL ON TV. THEY ARE JUNK! DON'T EVER WASTE YOUR MONEY. I HAVE USED MINE 4 TIMES, AND NOW THEY DON'T HEAT UP THE WAY THEY SHOULD. AFTER THE FIRST USE THE BLACK TEFLON PEELS OFF AND WHEN YOU TAKE THE FOOD OUT IT'S ALL OVER IT. THEY ARE A WASTE OF MONEY! I WOULD HAVE RATHER HAVE THROWN THAT MONEY RIGHT IN THE TRASH. THAT PLACE NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN. DON'T GIVE THEM ANOTHER PENNY. IT LOOKS GREAT ON TV, BUT IT'S NOT WHAT YOU GET! BELIEVE ME THEY ARE J-U-N-K!

My GT Express began losing its so-called "teflon coating" on the first use when I pre-cooked onions for my omelet. I love the idea of the cooker--it works well--but the peeling was indeed a dilemma. Because I can't stand to throw anything away, I solved the problem by cutting half circles of cooking parchment and using them as liners in the bottom cups (the top cups didn't peel). I never make plain omelets, instead I use 6" corn tortillas (softened slightly in the microwave) as shells, stuff them with spinach and cheese and then pour in the egg mixture. Cook 12-15 minutes and they puff beautifully and taste great. They slip right out with the paper attached (cool slightly and peel it off). If you really want a great little omelet maker, buy one for $10 at Walgreen's. Their non-stick coating is excellent. If it just had the same round shape as the Express so I could use corn tortillas, I would throw out the Express!

At the way this are today with money problems...thought the GT 101 Express would be great to buy...Big mistake...too small and peeling inside ...express logo melted off...i am so disapointed...waste of my money and can't bring it back to Target...gonna throw it out before i get the hammer and brake it...thanks for hearing my thought!

I agree with JBURKEY751 - they are JUNK like most of the products made in CHINA. I learned my lessen with the Xpress 101 to never buy cookware made in China again. I had previously bought a spaghetti pot (with draining holes in the lid) and it also lost its teflon coating after using it only a few times. It also was made in China. The Chinese products are worse than Junk - they're fradulent because they're not suitable for their advertised use

I have 2 of them, and I have never had a problem, I use 1 of them all the time. Maybe yours is defective and you should call them and try to get a replacement? I hope I'm not the only who bought this thing and got a good one

GT Xpress 101 Ordering scam!

I watched the info-merical on the GT Xpress 101 meal maker and called to get this great deal, two payments and a second one free ( with shipping ). What I got was a total of 4 of these bogus machines for total of $79.80, shipping charges of $63.75, and a $9.95 recipe collection charge. I called the company's 1-800 number and spoke with the rudest person alive ( Faye ) and told her I did not order this third and fourth machine, she told me I must have because the company sent it to me, right? I just wanted to return these and get a refund of the machine $39.90 and the shipping $31.87 and the $9.95 for the recipes. She said fine, but no refund on the shipping charges. When I asked to speak with a supervisor, she said no, she was handling my problem. I kept insisting on speaking with a supervisor, and she started to threaten me with hanging up. This is not the way to do business! They have my money for an item I did not order and they are refusing to reimburse me for shipping that item that they sent to me by mistake. And they are telling me to send the item back at MY expense. How much of my money are they trying to get from me? Why should I be penalized for something they did. Is this how they make their money? Cheating the public. Oh, and I was NEVER able to speak to a supervisor, and Faye only got ruder on the phone. This is a rip-off. BEWARE, do not buy this product, you could be their next victim. They are making money of innocent customers.

This Rip Off company has a similar scam going as {"RediSetGo" cooker. Same problems with web site and telephone ordering - multiple attempts to add unwanted "extras" to your order, along with excessive shipping charges, and inability to cancel an "order" . . . they always "have it in processing", and then it is already shipped so you can't cancel. Send it back at your expense, and they may refund, but less the original excessive shipping and handling charges. A BIG RIP OFF!

Is there anything we can do, ANY LEGAL ACTION a class action suit? I was just ripped off too, from $19.95 twice and 16.95 S&H MY TOTAL became OVER $102 I had to send many emails and talk to my ban to stop these thieves, yes thieves! Kathy Mitchell should be ashamed of herself for associating with thieves! If anyone is going to sue them count me in!

I returned my products at my expense and I can't get a telephone number for GTMEDIA where the products were shipped to. I would love to know if the products arrived and how long it will be before I will get a refund. This really is bad business practices and they should not even be advertising if they can't take care of customers any better than this.

It looks that's they way they do business: Duplicating the shipments and making you to pay for merchandise you didn't even order. It's so easy for them to do this, after all they already have your credit card number in their hands and can charge whatever they want, in other words: it's a highway robbery... isn't it?
I also got two sets of these bakers (or four units), instead of the one set (or one unit plus the second one "free") I ordered.
I was also charged $173.00 instead of the $70.00 I was expecting to pay. After e-mailing and sending my complaint via certified mail, I got a Return Authorization, but I'm supposed to send back the extra shipment at my expense! I have already being overcharged $103.00... and they're expecting me to keep on lossing more money. I'm trying to mitigate my losses to no avail and have this big box occupying space in my hallway... I should charge them for storage space.
I thought this was a new product when I first saw the info-mercial on TV. If I would have known this product had been in the market for a while, I would have gone to Target to get it, as smart Mac did.
If you really want one unit, go to E-Bay, they're selling these units there... I guess by people who got more than they expected to receive.

When I realized how much the postage was to order the GTXpress 101 I looked around and found it on sale at Target for $29.99! It only came with the spatula but you only need a covered jar to mix the batter. The recipe book came with the appliance and if I want other receipes I go online.

This exact same thing happened to me. I ordered two units and was shipped four. Instead of paying $19.95 x 2 plus shipping/handling of approximately $15, I was charged $173.

When I called to get a return authorization I was treated very rudely and without any "Customer Consideration" on the vendors part.

In my opinion this company is a giant rip-off.

GT Xpress 101 It was a mistake!

I ordered the GT Express 101 from the infomercial on TV. When I hung up the phone, I knew I had made a mistake. I was kept on the phone approx. 10 minutes by a recording. You will never talk to a real person. The whole transaction takes place with a recording. They give you a high pressure sales pitch and you are not able to ask questions. They continue to ask if you want all kinds of different products, which I didn't. I tried to order only one of these electric cookers but I now find out They only come in twos. And, of course you pay $14.95 S & H for the extra one that is "free." When I finally reached someone at their headquarters, they told me they could not cancel my order until 72 hours after the order was placed; that I would not be in the system till them. However, they could send me an email telling me my order was processed and I still don't know how much this "mistake" has cost me. They would not let me cancel the order. I spoke with someone there today and told them the problems I incurred and would send the product back when it arrives. I usually don't buy from infomercials, and let this be a warning for you not to buy from this company either.

I fell for this! I bought one for me and the "free" one was for a gift. I plugged mine in, put Pillsbury cinnamon rolls in both cups, turned around to get a plate out of the cupboard, turned back around and smoke was pouring out. The smoke was thick and black -- turning the outside edge of the cooker a nice copper color! Called the company -- told them I wanted to return them. They offered to refund the additional 14.95 I paid for the "free" -- told them no, I wanted all my money back and that I would call my credit card company and tell them. I also stated that there was a federal agency that dealt with recalls for safety issues and I would call them! The person I spoke to then raised the amount they would refund me to 20.00. She finally gave me an authorization number to use to return it.

I tried to cancel this item 10 min. after I ordered and was told that I had to wait 24 hours to be in the system. Called back the next day at 7 am pst. Was told already shipped and I could refuse pkg. or they would give me a credit of 14.95..I told them I wanted a full refund including S&H because they talked me into something I didn't want. I was told this would be done. The next three calls I made they told me I would get credit for item only. Long story short the S&H is more than the product would have cost me, and they will not give me credit. I am filing a complaint with my credit card co. and BBB.

I bought these machines in sept. by jan the teflon was peeling and bubbling. I subsequently threw them out and sent and email to GT Direct telling them what a shoddy product they are selling and requesting a replacement. They proceeded to send me and email back saying they would be happy to help me for a fee of 14.95 each unit (29.90) for something i've already spent 70 bucks on that turned out to be defective... I then called an overseas customer service number only to be faced with the same speech except the person on the other end stated that because i bought them in 2008 and it is now a new year that is the reason for the new shipping charges... BS... anyway, I should not and refuse to pay additional charges of any kind because their product is defective... they should replace at their cost.

I have had no issues so far. I purchased the item almost new in a goodwill store for $1.25. It is missing the spoon, but I can handle that.

I ordered the cook books tha are to be delivered ea. month for $9.95 plus postage/handling at $4.95. I want to cancel this order and went to CustomerService@gtxpress.com and there is no site? Cannot find customer service on regular web site to cancel. Anyone know how I can cancel online? Or should I try the [protected] phone number? (only open 9-6 Mon. thru Fri.~

I just brought one today at my local supermarket, where they were selling them for $11.99! I said, "What the heck... I've seen it on the informercial and the thing looks great".

I haven't tried it out yet, but for $11.99 I won't feel bad if the black coating comes off and I toss the unit in the trash.

I bought a GT Xpress from a local store, after using it the first time, while I washed it (soft cloth, soap and hot water), the non-stack coating has started peeling from the machine... buy cheap junk, its what you get

as i have purchased this product in june 2009 and agreed with the salesperson that the total price would be 77.35 so when it arrived we tryed both units and were surprised how nice they are but soon after the coating started to come off, when checking the statement what came with units it stated the total price was 111.00 and statement quoted another recipie book was on the way[did not order such item ]as i tryed to call the robot answering devices did not guide me to a live operater, so since than my mastercaed was charged too much as i tried to call them same robotservices did not give me a life operator now the mastercard keeps on billing me for too much and i advised them twice with registered mail but they kept ignoring my letters IS THAT WHY THEY GET BIG BONUSSES? what a stty business too bad society allows this garbage to be sold, thanks for listening so far./.
