Homerun.com I would never order from either of these companies agai

BEWARE! If you want deals go to Groupon or Living Social. Their policy's are better and they work with better vendors/business owners. HomeRun.com does not investigate their vendors and some of their vendors can be flaky or start-up companies. I purchased a deal from HomeRun.com for Fotabulous.com. I could not get the Fotabulous.com site to work on numerous occassions! I mean, several tries over a long period of time. I contacted HomeRun and because I was outside of their 7 day return window, they would not offer a refund. I contacted Fotabulous.com and they offered no assistance even when I tried to email their customer support. Their website NEVER worked and they just kept pressing me to use the website for my order. The long and short of it is that the deal expired and unlike Groupon or Living Social, it has no cash value even after the fact. I would never order from either of these companies again. It feels like the comeback of the dot com industry with a poor customer service component! I don't recommend it. Stick with Groupon and Living Social. Their deals are better anyway!

It is one of the WORST sites I have ever dealt with. If you have a problem, they claim they would love to help you resolve the issue but all they do is ignore your emails or give you the runaround. One month and 7 emails later, my problem is still unresolved. I tried to call but the phone number I found was useless.

HomeRun.com DOES NOT care about you. AVOID THIS SITE!

The deals may seem great but if anything goes wrong they will not help you at all! They only care about taking your money. AVOID these people!

Do not use them - I bought $40 worth of coupons - when I go to buy items, the merchant says the coupons have been used already - Homerun says they are still valid. Neither of them will refund the money. It's a scam. Stay well away, both consumers AND merchants (you will get a tarnished reputation).

I was sent an e-mail from a friend for a "gift bottle of wine from a local company" but it turned out to be a scam and now my friends and contacts are getting spammed with that same "offer".

They develop their email list by illegally phishing your email and offering your contacts phony deals. This is a VERY BAD SITE.

Very Deceptive. Should be illegal! Warn all to reject anything from HOMERUN.com. Steals your email list through unclear routing. STAY AWAY!

Homerun.com I don't expect them to remain in business very long

Horrible experience. They are totally rude. Chris who runs it was totally rude when I spoke with him. I asked for a refund or credit on a gift certificate that had expired after only 4 months. After being rude he said, 'no refund". I don't care how good a deal they can offer, I will never do business with this company again. He offered no solutions except to try and contact the vendor. They're address is a PO Box. I don't expect them to remain in business very long.

Homerun.com Do not ever, ever, ever do business with HomeRun.com

This is an extremely flaky company staffed by incompetent people who do not know anything about customer service. They deceptively acquire your email address and once they have it, automatically make you a member and start spamming you. They are not professional. They do not want to help you. They take forever to respond to your email. They do not want you to call them so they do not provide a phone number on their website. I found one on the Better Business Bureau website and repeatedly called and was not able to get through.

Do not ever, ever, ever do business with HomeRun.com!

Glad I read this, thanks for the feedback. Definitely have to wonder about a company that has "87% off" their pearls all the time.

If you did not get the merchandise for the $100 you spent, don't feel too bad. I received the product I ordered and the quality was atrocious. The pearls were oblong and poor quality and there were little flakes of metal cladding falling off the clasp. Your mistake and mine was ordering from them in the first place. I was to receive $225 of merchandise for only $60. In actuality, I got $2 - $3 dollars worth of merchandise, if that. The stuff is junk.

Homerun.com They offer free gift from a friend, then steal your email address book

An email from homerun.com saying a friend had sent me "a Chocolate Truffles (sic) from Schakolad Chocolate Factory, " with a button to click to redeem the gift. Then it asked for my email address and password. I assumed it would lead to a redeemable coupon... instead it was a tricky window inviting me to send a similar offer to my own friends. Something like FaceBook's attempt to get all one's email contacts. When I tried to back off and NOT select any addresses, it captured them all anyway, and sent the same fake gift offer and spam message to everyone in my email address book. Needless to say, no free truffles -- but what is bad is the spam to all my innocent friends who may foolishly perpetuate the scam. Homerun.com changes products and merchants regularly, I understand; previously it was an obscure brand of coffee.
