Icor Canada repeated robo calls

This company continually calls with a pre-recorded message saying "It's very important that I call" a 1-800 number. I have received at least 4 phone calls in 24 hours.

They keep calling for my wife, I called them today and told them to send the supporting documentation to us via registered mail and if they could not do so, then I would then forward their phone number to my lawyer, all of a sudden the number was "being removed" from their database within 24 hours and "we would not hear from them again" collection agencies don't just remove you from their database and stop calling. They will escalate the matter further. These people are scam artists!...

Icor Canada Harrassing Telephone Calls

I have been receiving calls from these people starting ay 7:00 am and as late as 8:00 PM. Just that annoying message call immediately. I am not about to call these people because I know they are nothing less then a bunch of con artists trying to strong arm people into paying non existing debts. Why are they still there. Because the police will not do a thing. Even though these people are frauds. And they are getting people to pay.

I am disabled with a bad heart and use a wheel chair. As such getting to the phone for this is a constant nuisance. I do know one thing. If I was health I would find them and pay them a little visit. (with friends)

Icor Canada harrassing phone calls

i keep on getting harassing phone calls from this number [protected] . The last call was on September 7th 2012 . i answered the phone and a very rude woman asked if Teresa was there i asked who it was She said her name was Tara and that she had some very important information for Teresa . I told her that i would pass on the message . Suspicious of this call i called the number back and a woman answered ICOR Canada . I told her that i was very sorry i must have accidentally dialed the wrong number . This was the fifth incident from this same number . I then checked on the web to search for ICOR CANADA and that is when i found your site

Icor Canada Harassing Phone Calls

I have recieved no less than four [4] telephone calls from this company...three [3] messages and one call I answered innadvertantedly. All of the calls are for my girlfriend and when I spoke to the individual who called, I mentioned she was not available and asked if I could pass on a message. The answer was Luc at ICOR...it is important with a [protected] phone number. When I asked what the subject matter was, he responded "no". I then mentioned that if he was not willing to state the subject matter, he would not get a return phone call. He then responded "too bad for her" and I rerlied "too bad for you" and hung up the phone. Since this exchange, I have recieved three [3] messages from the same individual as I recognized his voice. The next time he calls, I will engage him in a conversation and then tell him that I have taped the call and send it to my lawyer. I am sick of this overt harassement and will do my part to have it stopped.

Icor Canada nuisance calls

We, too, have been receiving calls from [protected] on a daily basis. The recording is the same, that it's "important you call us back ". What I'd like to know is this - how is it that these people have been allowed to continue their objectionable behaviour for so long? Judging by these complaints they've been at it for, minimally, 3 years. Can they not be stripped of their rights to possess telephone lines or some action that would be equally effective? I have not bothered to return any of the "important" calls as I maintain if something is THAT important, a real human being ought to be calling me directly.

I live in BC and have also been getting the same call as stated above. This happens two or three times a week, and the voice is definitely female. Although I now hang up when I hear the word 'ICOR', the calls persist. Is there no government agency that can put a stop to this annoying nuisance? Some Googling has shown me that this situation has been going on for years across the country.

I am also from BC and have been getting recorded messages from ICOR Canada for a few weeks. A stern male voice demands that 'This is an important call from ICOR Canada" and that it is urgent to call back at an 866 number (different from the other BC complaint). The caller does not identify WHO needs to call back. It has always been the same male voice recording and not once a live person on the line. It calls at 7:15 am Monday to Friday. Not nice if i want to sleep! I will not phone back.

What is the point of the calls and why can they continue to harass people?

You are not the only province that is getting these calls...I live in Quebec and got a direct call from an individual today and he asked to speak to my wife. When I said she was not available and asked if I could take a message, he responded by saying..."yes, have her call Luc from ICOR at [protected], it is important" I asked "WHAT WAS THE SUBJECT MATTER and he responded "no" to which I shot back "if you choose to not say the subject matter, she will not call you back" He responded, "too bad for her" and I again shot back "too bad for you". He immediately hung up the phone. They obviously have multiple numbers as this number is not the same as the one mentioned above. It is high time that the Government step in and prosecute this predatory type of direct harassment.

Icor Canada Phone Harassement

Icor Canada left a voice mail on my cell telling me I have to call them immediately at [protected]. That's all they said which got me thinking it was some marketing company. Because I was curious and when I had time I called and sat on hold for 5 minutes listening to the same annoying message. While on hold I thought I'd google the name and ended up here...glad I did. Thanks for the heads up as they who I thought they were so I hung up.

Icor Canada has been calling my cell phone number 3 times daily every day for the last 2 months.
The message "Icor Canada leaves is "it is urgent that you call us at the following number [protected]".
I have not and will not return their calls. How can I stop Icor from calling my cell number? I have always
been discreet when permitting contacts to use my cell number.

This number calls my cellphone (how they got THAT number is beyond me!) up to 10x per day and as late as 10pm. When I see the number I do not pick it up as I don't know who they are yet they don't leave a message - just constant phone calls!

Beyond Harrassing--- This company calls me like clock work every 2-3 hours every day on both my home phone and my cell. The calls begin around 8:30am and do not finish until between 4:30-6:00. They call a few times a day on Saturday's as well... Sunday is the only time I hear nothing from them. They do not say who they are, what they are calling about --- just 'an important matter in my office' and they never say who it is for... just that it is important that "you call our office immediately regarding an urgent matter". If these types of calls are not harassment I don't know what is... there should be something that can be done about this... like I said... they are calling both my home and my cell number---I don't even know how they got my cell?! Fortunately, I have a call block program on my cell so it intercepts their call immediately and they cannot leave a voice mail either... but I can't do that on the home phone. This has been going on for well over 6 months and needs to stop.

You just have to stop answering the phone when they call or you can block privet or unknown phone calls or you can contact consumer protection and complain to them or you can change your phone number or tell them that the person that they are trying to reach is not there and record the conversation for your records but if you do record the conversation they must know that they are being recorded .

When they call I keep telling them that the party they are trying to reach is not here at the time. However when I asked why they were calling they would not leave a message just saying that they must speak only to this party. Now this might be appropriate I don't know but when said party is not in province during their office hours they should at least relay why they are calling.
I did ask to speak to the manager but naturally he or she wasn't at his or her desk.
Surprise surprise.

Ignore these people. Threaten them with a harrassment suit, or blow a police whistle into the phone when they call. They are a scam.
They buy up old debt lists from credit card companies and phone the people and harrass the hell out of them. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO LISTEN TO THEM. There is nothing they can do to you no matter what they say. I had them harrassing me, and I learned right quick to just DENY DENY DENY any debt (where you have one or not) when people like this call you. If you deny they give up and go away. If you blow a loud whistle in their ear a few times, they change their number! lol

Icor Canada Telephone Harrassment

Rogers wireless made the mistake of sending my account which had a zero balance to collections with Icor. Rogers emailed them retracting the collections and I faxed them proof that the account was at a zero balance since Nov 2009 which included all payment transaction details.

Icor calls at all hours and are rude and unprofessional.
I was told it may take up to 30 days for this to stop.
Good thing my phone has an off button.

I don't have a Rogers account anymore...wonder why...

Icor Canada harassment

We get several calls from Icor Canada, every day, around 5 P.M.
We get an electronic message asking us to call back a 1-877 number.
We called this number, only to get another answering machine telling us that their office are closed and that we have to call back with reference numbers. Since we don't know what this machine is talking about, we decided to let go but the calls keep coming in, every day.

If somebody has a clue about who they are, please post some comments. It seems that some people were told by them that they are a recovering agencie so they might as well be a big scam.

Since i'm a french speaker, excuse my english.

in 3 months i have been recieving daily phone calls anywhere from 2 to 3 calls a day. Most calls they hang up on me, they were calling for someone who doesnt even live here and I told them repeatedly to stop calling my house and that they are stressing me out calling my house everyday asking for someone who doesnt even live here. Approximately a week ago now, they decided all of a sudden that I now have something there for collection. They told me of the bill to be collected and I have absolutly no recollection of the bill they are speaking of. They conitinue to call multiple times daily, hanging up on me, being rude with me. In a 5 day period, this company has called my house 14 times! I am absolutley livid!

They're at it again. DO NOT respond to this company. Not only do they create phone lists, they have bought fraudulent lists and are calling folks and saying they are a collection agency and you owe X amount of dollars NOW. No matter what they say, they're a scam.

My suggestion is that you ask them to send you the paper work that authorizes them to collect this money and you will talk to your lawyer. And you usually never hear from them again as they have no supporting documentation. If they keep calling threaten them with the BBB and a lawsuit.

So, I told him not to call me at work anymore if he wanted a payment from me I need a job (I don't owe to the Company he said I did)
He still calls 2 sometimes 4 times in an 8 hour time frame and then I get home and all kinds of calls on my unlisted number answering machine. If anyone has any information on how to get these people let me know PLEASE!.

I filed a do not call and they are supposed to abide by it but they only stepped up the calls and some days I would get over 40 calls from them. I have about 8 numbers on my phone they call from and they are blocked. They did quit calling for a few months but they are back at it and start around 6:30 am to 11 pm with the calls. It is a bogus account they say I owe and I do not know how to stop them from calling...the one time I did answer they were so rude I hung up on him. How can I get these idiots to stop calling me. I've been getting calls from them 2 to 3 times a day for the past year or so. A couple of weeks ago, my 10 year old son answered & they asked him for his name. He didn't know what to do so he told them his name. He got spooked by the angry tone of voice at the other end & hung up. Since then, they call but now ask for him. What a bunch of bullies!

Anyways, i've tried putting them on the Do Not Call List for a year, but they still call. Over the past few weeks, one of my colleagues told me what he does: he answers the phone using a different language than english (say italian or french) and they will at first try to get you to speak in english. Keep on talking to them in the other language, and they'll eventually hang up or tell you they'll have someone else call you later. Since i've been using that strategy (unless i simply don't answer the phone), i'm having a ball. I call them all kinds of names in another language (which they obviously don't understand) and all in a polite way, of course. Now, they simply hang up as soon as i answer (in that other language). Earlier today, i used a robotic voice when i answered (in that other language) telling them this is a recording & to leave a message. They did. A recording (female voice) said "This is ICOR Canada" and instructed me to call a number (1-866 ...) urgently.

They'll continue calling, no matter what. I haven't done it yet, but my next move will probably involve calling them back, using a european language other than english, and drive them mad...over and over. Give them some of their own medecine. I likely won't be blocking my number, since i'm hoping they'll get the message and stop harrassing me.

Icor Canada constant disruptive calls

Constant computer generated phone calls to return a call and then we get another computer generated answering machine asking for details of our call. How in the world would we know what the details are? All we get is a message to call back the 1-888 number.

We get several calls a week. We are a long term-care facility and we do not have time to answer calls such as these.

Just remove us fromyour call list, please.
