Scamming
Last Friday the 29th November 2013, my Wife answered our phone to someone who claimed to be from Microsoft IT Support to say that our Outlook E-Mail Address had been Hacked & that our Computer was now 'Compromised' & they said that they can fix it for a Fee. As we had some previous concerns re our Security, my Wife let this ### continue. After about 20 x minutes, this Indian guy (Mike Cooper? An Indian guy called Mike Cooper? Give me a Break) had control of our Computer after my Wife answered a few questions. She then called me to ask if I wanted to speak to this guy as she was unsure of certain things. He then proceeded to flag up what he said were 5 x Viruses in our Computer & drew a Red Circle round them which we found out later was all Nonsense. I suspected something was not right & asked, no, shouted at the guy to give us Control of our Computer again as I stated that what I am seeing here was '###'. He said that I cannot speak to him like that. I said I can speak to him anyway I can. He then said (classic), 'Then don't blame us if you lose everything on your Computer'. No Professional Person would say something like that. I then gave the phone to my Wife again as she said 'the guy is only trying to help'. She then calls me again to say that they have 3 x levels of Payment Options of which I stupidly said we will have the middle one. How stupid was I? I am still embarressed by it all as I write. He then put us through to their 'Accounts Department' to speak to someone else who then said they cannot do any Work until they have the Money. To shorten this a bit, we were lucky in that our Credit Card Company had put a Block on this as being an unusual Activity in our Account. These Parasites were going to Scam us twice for Pounds 305.71. Since Friday, they have repeatedly been calling our Mobiles plus our Home Landline & only once did we reply when my Wife told them to F** Off. Well Done her. At today's date, they have not called back so far. Our biggest fear is that, since they had control of our Computer for over an hour, they may have 'emptied' all our info. Since then, I have contacted the Police who gave good advice plus we will get our Laptop thoroughly Checked to see if it has been Compromised in any way. We are on to them now as we have Logged how many times they have called etc plus we know where they operate from. Their Address is - UDYOG VIHAR,
MM TOWER,
PLOT 8 & 9 (behind Airtel Building),
GURGAON,
INDIA.
Hopefully, they will be getting a vist soon as these Parasites are the lowest of the Low & I wish them all Bad Luck from now & Forever More.
I would now like to withdraw my Complaint as I have now decided that in the cold light of day, I should not have vented my anger on a Social / Public Media Website. This matter is now in the hands of the proper Authorities so I will let them deal with it. Just remember the Name of this Company so that it does not happen to You

Best Solution For Your Business
It is always said, you always need to phrase your query properly if you want to have it answered well. Unfortunately whenever people get stuck with any kind of trouble, all they offer is fumbled behavior, saying-it-all in one go, and giving away their not-so-helpful perceptions about it. This is turn leaves the person in front of them confused about the exact cause of the issue makes it take longer time to assist the first person get the issue resolved, if at all!
I for myself was stuck in a similar situation when my PC first crashed. I am not really bad with computers, but going deep inside it always gives me shivers. I remember I was in the middle of something when it just happened. I admit I really felt lost! I could not come up with an idea to fix it up. Also, as the presentation I was making was really important and had to be presented the very next day I had to bring it up as soon as possible at any cost!
I called up my best buddy Ronald and asked him for directions. He too is just as good as I am with computers. The only thing he could provide me with was with a website address of a tech support firm. Since I could not access it, he gave me the tech support number that was also given on iTechAcharya (that was the name of that company) website. I right away called them up. I still remember the person I got on call was very patient with me when I gave the same reaction as anyone would have given. I was panic-struck and I told him just what happened without giving him much detail about it.
The guy then started asking me some silly questions (those did sound silly at that time, for I knew all that stuff), but after a while those questions started to make some sense. He was trying to get to the root of the problem. Then he offered me certain plans to subscribe to. Those plans were not cheap, but they weren’t that costly either. I subscribed for the instant plan (that was the cheapest one), after which he started giving me a number of instructions, one by one. I started following them, showing my very own knack of patience. After a while my computer started up. I felt elated! I thanked him, and he was very courteous even then, telling me few things that I should take care of additionally in case I face such situation again.
After I placed the receiver down, I thought about just how much important is the patience and the skill of a tech support representative you seek help from. Had that guy started without asking me those “not so silly” questions, maybe we would still be trying out all kinds of alternatives, and I am sure I would have lost my temper by then. He was very helpful, understood my issue till the very depth of it, and only then he started giving away instructions to me, again very politely. The sound clarity, desire to help and also the promptness were other aspects that I found to be really worth appreciating.

Hello johnmackenzie
As a freelance writer, having uninterrupted email access is crucial for my livelihood. Not only do I need to promote my services to prospective clients but I also have to be in constant communication with my current clients and send completed documents for their approval. As a result, even a small glitch with my email is an extremely big issue for me.
I searched for a possible solution to my problem online, but the walk throughs and guides that I found proved to be too complicated for me to understand. With a project deadline looming large, I decided to call up tech support.
When I made the call, I was greeted by an agent who introduced himself as Sean Hall. After listening to my problem, he asked for permission to remotely access my computer so that he could diagnose the exact cause for the issue himself. Once the connection had been established, it took him just a few minutes to establish the root cause of my problems and told me that he could fix not just these issues but many others for me for a nominal fee. I readily accepted the offer and once the details were complete, he began repairing my computer.
When he started, I asked if I it was possible if I could hang up. He told me I could and he would call me back once he had finished. The repair work must have been extensive because it took him about 20 to 30 minutes before I finally got a call back from him. He asked me to check if everything was working perfectly. I did my usual check and found that not only was my email was functioning perfectly; my computer’s speed had also improved by a considerable margin. Sean also told me that under my currently chosen plan, he could also integrate my emails into my smart phone as well as my tablet so that I would be notified the moment I got a new email and I could read it from any of the two devices, not just from my computer. I obviously jumped at the chance and after a couple of minutes all three of my devices were integrated with my email account. Now I could reply to important emails from my clients while I’m on the go.
Thanks to their prompt service, I was able to mail those important documents to my clients on time which resulted in me getting more offers from them.
I really had faced some issues with my PC. I am 67 years lady and am not really good with computers. I asked my nephew and he referred iTechAcharya to me. He also gave me their number. I called them right away. The guy I got connected to, his name was Reed. He did ask me some stupid questions, but ultimately was able to get me out of my trouble. He also suggested me a couple of things that I made note of at that time. He did have some flaws in his language but was very courteous.
I had purchased a new printer, but after just a couple of weeks it stopped functioning. I called up HP support, knowing that it was under warranty. They did tell me that it will be fixed, but were unable to give me a time frame. I needed my printer badly, for I have an exhausting work profile and need it all the time. I looked for some help over the internet and came across iTechAcharya. Their agent helped me fix it in a matter of minutes (tend of minutes, to be specific). She sounded very pleasant and also offered me a plan to subscribe to. I did refuse it at that time, but maybe I would go for it someday soon.
scam instead of technical support
This website offers technical support. But they tried to scam me by scaring me that i had a virus on my computer after taking control of it.
Then told me I had to pay for the virus to be removed. There was no virus or infection on my computer.
They tried to fool me by showing errors and warnings logs and they told me that those were all virus activities.
I have microsoft antivirus and i called microsoft after hanging up on them & microsoft told me that my computer was clean.
What a scam.

I called to have my password changed because it was hacked and the wanted me to pay 130 dollars. I asked the operator if he thought this was ridiculous and he hung up. This is an outsource used by Google. You'd ha etc be an idiot to pay that.
I work for the State of Wyoming as a criminal investigator and am in Cheyenne, WY. Itech acharya claims to be located at 1903 S. Greeley Hwy #198, Cheyenne, WY . 82007. They are NOT at that location. That location is the address of American Storage & Postal Service. Phone number [protected]. Email: amerstor@bresnan.net. I personally went to that address and was told that they have no business relationship with itech acharya and that itech acharya is NOT located there. giving technical support company to any customer isnt wrong ...but scamming should be prohibited ...even in US AND UK there are third party technical company like geeks squad and best buy but they doesnt scam their customer, , , , it doesnt matter if you are a third party ...if u are genuine any person can trust you ...but this company is just a ### ...
Hey innocent guy i want to talk to you regarding this something same happened with me if you can share your number please?
Itechacharya is an out and out scam! They lie about the coondition of one's computer and con the victim into giving them control of one's computer. Then they come through with stories about how badly the computer is compromised and how they can fix it for a price. They do no such thing.
Then, when one wants to take advantage of their "30 day guarantee" it proves impossible to reach them using any normal means. One comment above about the personnel being rude is right on the mark!
I went through the same issues, paid them for support, read about the secrecy of company home base, we aren't sure where the company is really located. I also ordered and paid for software as well, from another mystery sister company, whereabouts not disclosed (I thought I could trust them, haha, joke is on me!). I paid over $300 for support and software and they still have not refunded or responded to reports I sent them about being illegitimate. You might be temporarily satisfied, but you are fooled. Don't go outside the U.S. for support, you are asking for problems, and no refunds for your hard-earned money!
i tech acharya is a delhi based company run by some professional hackers and their leader is Yash Vardhan and it is registered in jaipur
thr registered address of all the directors is also the same which has been manipulated on papers. Kindly ask your bank/credit card company to reverse your payment, if you feel you guys have been charged fraudulently.Folks take this step at the earliest to avoid your hard earned money loss which is going into the hands of hackers. Here is another link which proves i tech acharya is a scam

THIS COMPANY IS A BIG SCAM, I WAS AM EMPLOY OF THIS COMPANY, THEY TARGET THE OLD PEOPLE BY SCARING THEM THEY TELL THEM " COMPUTER IS HACKED, NETWORK IS HACKED, EMAIL IS HACKED, IP ADDRESS IS HACKED, ETC "
THIS COMPANY CAN SHUT DOWN AT ANY POINT OF TIME.
I had a problem with my yahoo email account in that it would not open an attachment. I contacted applecare who told me that I needed to contact yahoo. They gave me a number telling me that it was yahoo support uk. It wasn't. It turned out to be Itechacharya. They told me that there was a problem with my email account and computer and took remote access to diagnose the problem. They said I had a virus from facebook and that I had 18 hackers attached to my computer who were monitoring everything I was doing on my computer. They pulled up a list of hackings and said that my online security and online banking was compromised that I should not use my computer to do anything. They said they can sort out the problem. They told me to pay £299.99 to clean my mac and provide a years service. They were very pushy and I was terrified. Yes these people are terrorists. I told them that I had applecare and they said that applecare doesn't cover this problem and that if I go to apple they will charge me around £700 to sort out this problem. They kept pushing and wouldn't give me time to think asking how I would like to pay. Eventually I told them I didn't have any money right now and that I would think about it. I got off the phone after over an hour and googled itechacharya and saw the complaints people were making about them being scammers. I then carried on investigating and found that there were free virus scanners available on app store. I used ClamXav to scan my mac and it picked up 2 phising emails which I deleted. I then read that it is very dangerous to give anyone access to your computer as they might install spyware on it. I then investigated and found I can use MacScan for free for 30 days to check for spyware. I used MacScan and it found a load of tracking cookies. But my browser can show me these anyway. So I was reassured that there was nothing wrong with my computer. A security update on my mac eventually opened the attachment that I was having trouble with in the first place. I have lodged a complaint with applecare for being fed to the wolves by one of their agents. They should have dealt with my query and not passed me to a shady company claiming they were my email providers, which they were not! Itechacharya are fraudsters and people need to beware of their terrorism.
This internet is a scam. BEWARE! All the above about unhappy customers is true. I am contacting the FBI equivalent for internet prevention such as this one. I was taken for $299.99. Their information is not consistent from one agent to another. I urge persons of any age, any background, to help close down organizations such as this and contact authorities though the FBI. WE WILL NOT TOLERATE INFRINGEMENT ON OUR RIGHTS AS AMERICAN CITIZENS.
