Paid cash, no product
Paid cash (cashier's check) for two suppressors in August, 2010. After company received payment I never heard from them again. Never a response to email or phone call. In fact they never answer calls they recognize are coming from me or my FFL dealer. Eventially, this Spring I received one of the suppressors, However, after about 16 months I still have not received the other suppressor, and still no communication. Is a civil action my only recourse? This company has an F rating with the BBB and a wide reputation for poor customer support, and possible fraudulent business practices, if others are to be believed; and there might be a question of IRS violations as well. I would prefer the suppressor, because they are quality, but a refund if the suppressor is not a reasonable expectation.
Lack of correspondence, refund
My name is Stanley Rawn Gabbard and I purchased an item (338 suppressor) and was charged on January 15, 2010 from Mike’s Gun Sales and Service (address: 1904 N FM 1069 Aransas Pass, TX 78336, ph [protected] and [protected]) in the amount of $1, 126.00. I talked to them several times in March of this year and they assured me the item would be out soon to my local provider for transfer. I have over the last 7 months, at least 1-2 times weekly, been trying to contact them by phone and e-mail. I received one return e-mail August 25, 2010 stating,
“Rawn. We are traveling back and will call asap. Ths Debra”.
I never received a call. I have still been trying to call and e-mail them so I may cancel the order but to no avail. I would like to know if it’s possible for the Complaints Board to intervene on my behalf with Mike’s Gun Sales or if it’s possible for the charges to be reversed at this point as I would just like to cancel the order and receive a full refund.
Debra from Mike's Gun Sales contacted me several months after this complaint and the purchased item shipped for transfer. The case is closed. Rawn.
Well I don't know much about Oldtimer, but I can tell you that Venice is no day at the beach. I think a lot of members are deceived into thinking that she is a very like-minded person. In reality it's more like she is a "selectively" like-minded person. She is often rude to those that are not in that selective circle. I think she fits the cyber-bully category perfectly. Being very popular on the site gives her more ammunition in confrontations. She'll also join in when lessor known members are attacked. Usually she'll type the users name followed by a +1 or 10. That's my3cents.
BTW whoever is the user hypocrites united. You really need to grow up and get some professional help, if you help make violent threats like that. Shame on you!
