I recently graduated from Kaplan career Institute and like everybody else there i was hoping to get a job in my field after graduation. Not only could they not help me get a job in my field but they could'nt even get me a job outside of my field. I never even got 1 interview. I recently enrolled in Kaplan only to find out that almost everything said to get me to enroll was not true also I watched 4 movies rented from blockbuster I have no idea how' the hangover ' would relate to medical coding and billin or hearing stories about the instuctors
god son exposing himself would further my education.
also the grading is random if you challenge any thing you will soon regret it, after 5 hours of class you are then sent home to read 1 or more chapters and then will
be tested. When I went to withdraw the women was very nasty! she asked me didnt I think of withdrawing before I received my books. she kept pressing for imformation I tried to be polite but she wanted to know
why I couldnt tell her. she advised me that I would owe
" a big chunk of change" The woman in the business office was about the same and said she would let me know what I owed and if I didnt hear from them to contact them. I contacted direct federal loans and after
giving them a run down was advised to contact the state
ag which I have, I know they will never return a phone call when you withdraw. I dont understand why they want to know why you are withdrawing they have an
over 50% withdrawl rate. I dont understand what they
charge you for there was a test on abbreviations of which we were told to learn them ( about 120) and we would be tested on 30 of them ( the instructor pointed out that some were in latin so she did'nt know how to
help us remember them, or what the abbreviation was for). kaplan takes the stance that they can somehow influence your career if they dont like you. Also the staff
may be disrespectful to you but you will be repremanded if you adress this, also the staff basically has no qualifications to teach. I do plan to take this to the
ag, because at the end of the day it is a scam.
I spoke to someone who has an issue with Kaplan they did contact her and she went in to have 5 staff members intimidate her and give her the standard " youl never be a success speech. Another reason to start class action I have initiated federal and civil action. Do not be afraid of these people.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.

Same thing happened with me its a fraud they just want to get you in the door feed you lies how they will help you. And when the criminal justice teacher was sleeping with a few students and was drunk on a field trip that's not professional at all. And if you would address and issues it basically back fired on you.
