Over the road driving job

There are crooks and liars. and low lifes.they are holding my checks cause they payin for plane ticket for some body to pick my truck up in chattanooga.tn and they are taking the money out of my check.they never told me this in orientation..and i offerd a two week notice.and they left me stranded in 2006.i wish somebody would shut them down. they dont care about there drivers.they run down drivers over the qualcomm.they are all rude.i hope they lose every thing

Not treating their employees right
No one in their right mind should work for this company! K&B Transportation will do anything to screw their drivers! I have been working for K&B for five months and in that time it took them three months to pay back a $205 hotel bill. After arguing with them for three months, it finally was paid but not fully. i decided after much thought 1 week after going to work for k&b transportation that the job was not for me and i wanted to go home i told this to my superviser and he said go ahead and do another load and thay would get me back to the terminal i said no i want to head to terminal today to return the truck and go home after some argueing i was autherized to bring the truck in empty and was given till 1 pm to turn it in i arrived in the yard at 3 am tired went across the street to motel got up 10 am to get my belonging from truck and turn in keys only to find out thay had allready moved the truck went through my belongings kept what thay wanted consisting of a 400watt power inverter and a new digital camera and some other items then thay threw the rest in the trash when i asked abt the missing items was told the guy who cleaned the truck worked there years and never took nothing and that was that also was told i wouldnt get paid for my week of work i should have called the police but was so angry by the time all this occured i just needed to leave and i did

I drove for k& b for 8 months ran every load that they gave me and got it there before it was suppose to be there, relays and all. The day I decided to stay on my load when they wanted to relay a driver I was spokin to in a away that I have never been spoken to before by a dispatcher. And was fired told to drop the truck off pack my sh#% and get on the bus. And if I drive the truck any further they would report the truck as stolen. And that was 12/13/16 to all drivers out there save your money companies don't care about you work on your credit so if you have to go threw the crap you can leave get a room for the night and rent a car in the A.M. the dispatcher thought I was s.o.l but I prepare for matters like that one. K&B pays well but the company is not worth the headache. P. S I don't think there going to give me my last pay check but I already mentally prepared myself for that and I put away half of every check earned with them any way. But look past working for k&b it's not worth it drivers are quiting everyday.
I can say that what was written is true with the exception of the owners. It is the vice president of the company that is a low life and does not care about drivers. His idea is to screw over drivers that quit or that medically cannot drive. You have 2 Guys that clean out the trucks and are the biggest thieves around. I feel this company should be investigated not only by the deal key but also by the justice department for what they are doing.
After 7 months of on time deliveries and only seeing my 4 year old daughter 7 times, I decided 4-6 weeks out at a time was ridiculous. I was hired to drive but was always told where to go, how far to go and what time to be there. Safety was not a factor for this company! I then caught Strep Throat from the stress and was told to get in a Cab, take a bus from Cincinnati, OH to Minneapolis, MN with Strep Throat. When I arrived in Minneapolis, MN after a 2 day bus trip, I received a call from K&B telling me I need to see a doctor. This was to get cleared to drive again. I told them it would take a week to get cleared. During this week, I received a bill for truck recovery fee, cab fare, bus fare, trailer locks and fuel. When I called and asked about not getting paid for the week, K&B stated it was just incase I didn’t return. When I asked about the bill, K&B could not verify the truck was back there yet. I called the department of labor and they said K&B has employees sign their life away during orientation. I also lost a new microwave, coffee maker, winter clothes and my satellite radio. K&B is by far the worst company to work for on earth. Really! The owner has no clue on how to run a business.
Fraud and cheating
I thought they were a standup company as well. I went through all of that with the log book as well as the hours of service violations. I even had to buy tires for a D&H trlr i picked up in Macon, Ga. I told Sean i didn't do it but since they control your pay, he made me pay half. The last straw came when i was taking a load to Colorado and was passing threw Oklahoma. I had to take 10hr break so i parked at a Loves trkstop. I brushed my teeth with the water, which i later found out had a virus in it, and it parallelized the right side of my face. Me tryna be the dedicated driver took the load to Colorado and then checked into a clinic. Ten minutes after i told them the doctor put me on 3mths medical leave they froze my pay. It was a friday afternoon so my pay should have already been loaded but i told them of injury that morning so they waited on results before they would paid me. 1hr after that they took me out of system and had a driver in route to recover the trk and put me on greyhound home, which they later charged me for. I haven't checked DAC yet. To all you drivers who didn't get last checks, i filed a complaint with the State of Iowa under loss wages recovery. They recovered my pay free of charge from K&B. It took a couple of months, but its worth it. They owed me $750 but i had to settle for $450 cause K&b charged me for recovery and that bus ticket. I could have fought further but that was as far as Iowa would take it for free. I have a work comp case pending also. Fight them!

How funny. They k&b sent a person down to repo my truck 8680 when I was in home time as well. They also refuse to return my personal belongings to me and the person I arranged to pick them up from their home terminal. And don't get me started about the money issue. I drove 3300 miles one week per their route and only got paid for 2590 miles I questioned them about that and never got a answer. You tell me how a person can drive from the office to Omaha NB get in a plane fly to Houston tx drive a hour to the truck all in less then 5 hours? They are liars and thieves and I'm reporting the to the dot and to who ever I need to insure they stop doing this to good people trying to make a living. STAY AWAY FROM K&B TRANSPORTATION. AKA WESTERN LIVESTOCK EXPRESS. ROBERT. HOUSTON TEXAS
