Laser Ink Direct Unfair business practice

Telesales agent called to promote cartridges. At that stage we didn't need them but an agent was so persistent and made us to buy one. After a while we started receiving parcels one by one without us not placing any orders. We contacted them and said that we don't need their cartridges and asked not to send any, but they insisted that there was a big order placed which must be completed otherwise they will charge us for discount received on such an order. So their sales manager Isador said that he can cancel the dispatch but will send us an invoice on the discount they granted which will be counted to more than R 5000. We asked to give us a proof that such an order was ever placed, Isador said that they have recordings and since we started paying for the cartridges it would mean that we agreed on both - an order and an discount. Non of their invoices never shown any discount and never it was mentioned in thelephonic conversation. It was actually a big surprise to learn that the price we paid was already 25% less than an original one. And the main question to them is: If they insist they gave us a discount of 25%, why their invoices never reflected any as it supposed to be according to accounting standards? Other words, these people are simply taking a chance, but forget that their reputation is very important. NEVER BUY FROM THEM!

Laser Ink Direct Unfair Business Practices

Telesales agent calls to promote printer ink cartridges promising that buyer will have 60 days to pay for them from the date of the invoice. Also, that if customer not satisfied with the product, it can be returned. After receiving the cartridges, it was discovered that their prices are too high and I called to return them. I was given the run around for two days with both the accounts lady and the despatch person being extremely rude. Further to this, they claim to have recording s of the telephone converstaions but refuse to play this to confirm that the customer was in fact told that the cartridges can be returned.
According to their invoice, goods can be returned within 10 days.

Hi Leandi,

Watch Carte Blanche on Monday 28th March, they are doing a follow up story on them, they interviewed us today with regards to laser ink, maybe try and get hold of them via their website

Laser Ink Direct (now trading as PSI Product Solutions) is the type of company giving telemarketers a VERY bad name! I experienced exactly the same problems as the previous users - no written orders, only an alleged telephonic order from the receptionist (whom obviously does not have the authority to issue orders!), products arriving without consent, always promised that this is the last, etc etc. And even though I have a written and signed letter stating that our account is closed and that they will not send us any more products, Richard as sure as hell phoned me again today saying that there are still 4 cartridges outstanding on our order! This is absolute rubbish! I've now written them a letter prohibiting them from contacting us, so the moment I receive any correspondence from them again I am going to call my lawyer. This needs to stop.

I agree - I've been subjected to the same kind of abuse. I have a written and signed letter from them confirming that my company's account is closed, and suddenly today Richard called me and said that there is still 4 cartridges left on the order (which I obviously never issued) and that our account will be closed after that. What absolute rubbish! I've written them a letter warning that should they contact me again I will call my lawyer - this has gone on long enough. I do hope someone will investigate PSI Product Solutions International (aka Laser Ink Direct), they are very shady!

Also when the deliver your orders there is NO INVOICE! only a delivery note! How come they send the invoice a week later?!?
COZ THEY WANT U TO SIGN FOR IT FIRST, ACCEPTING THE ORDER & ULTIMATELY THE FINAL INVOICE AS WELL!
ALL our other suppliers have TWO DELIVERY NOTES & ONE INVOICE! AND THEY ONLY KEEP THE DELIVERY NOTE! This is the correct way of doing business

Hi all, we have also been conned by these [censor]s! they have now changed their name to PSI PRODUCT SOLUTIONS INTERNATION! i am certain they do this so that they can scam the same companies over and over again!
We had the same issue with a second parcell being deliver although we did not order, i called them and said i will not accept the parcell as the deal was for TWO CARTRIDES for the price of R 884.00 INCLUDING VAT (which was also rubbish coz the invoice we received showed it was EXCLUDING) and the the guy, Isador, simply said it was a mistake at the call centre we should take it and we can pay it end of March and that they will remove us from the system ([censored]!) i took the cartridges which leads me conveniently to my next point:
THEN THESE SO-CALLED MIRACLE CARTRIDGES, WHICH THEY CLAIM TO LAST UP TO 3 MONTHS ARE FONG-KONG CRAP!
BY MY CALCULATION (please correct me if im wrong) if x1 CARTRIDGE = 3 MONTHS, then surely x2 cartridges SHOULD - 6 EFFING MONTHS! BOTH THE BLACK CARTRIDGES DIDNT MAKE IT PAST 3 (yes T H R E E) EFFING WEEKS!
Now they want a "Impression print count" for the EMPTY cartridge" which i went through the whole mission to phone HP's Technical support to find it and they said that is what these TURDS are looking for, i faxed it to them NOW HE SAYS THAT THERE IS NO DATE ON AND THAT THEIR TECHNICIANS DONT KNOW WHATS GOING ON... ITS NOT WHAT THEY R LOOKING FOR, when i double checked with HP that that print out is exactly and the only print out that i can print! so in translation PSI are saying the HP TECHNICIANS (who probably have papers to certify they are technicians) HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT!
i seriously think that some or all of us should do something about this!
We WILL NOT PAY FOR THE LAST TWO CARTRIDGES! weather the have been used or not!

We have the same issue and we are actualy being threatend now. As God is my witness i will not rest until these con artist has been broaght to justice, but I cannot do this alone, i need the help of any willing volenteers to take them down

After repeatedly telling Richard not to send any more cartridges to us, he simply invoiced us for the amount of R2489.76 and sent 6 more cartridges via the post office. I will not pay this and will contest this with every means at my disposal. I have already reported this to the Consumer Goods Council of South Africa. Does anyone have a physical address for Laser Ink Direct as I would like to send the police around to them to find out exactly what is going on? The new Consumer Protection Act was brought into being because of people like Laser Ink Direct and Richard!

I have done it. Got them to shut their pie holes. All you need to do is to tell them to find the internet and Google yourself. Then you can see exactly what you are. Isador still wanted to continue lashing to me and i just said to him I`m not interested in your story. I`m not paying for this, whoops. He then said to send his goods back, I`m taking it to the post office and not paying a cent, will send it back on his account.

look carefully on the invoices. there is no direct email or website to contact them..
we just had another problem with them this morning.. this is terrible.. they always have different stories regarding prices.. and the person over the phone did not want to give us an email address of the owner or manager saying he would fax us details . which was said few weeks ago.. and still that fax never came through.
