They were great
I signed up with this company back in 2008 when modifications were still relatively new. The process really didn't take that long. After about 2 months, they had my loan modified to a rate of 3.5% for 5 years, which was good considering I was at 8% earlier. I don't really have any complaints with their service.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
My loan got modified
I went to the Law Offices of Brian J. Colombana/Mortgage Relief Law Center early last year. My experience with them would actually very good. They were a little tough to get ahold of because of how overwhelmed they were, but they did the work and they got my loan modified. The lender dropped my rate to 2%, extended the loan term out to 40 years, and even removed some principal (only a few thousand). It was actually better than what they had expected I would receive. I see there are some complaints against this company and I faced similar issues with the banks telling me they had never heard from them. However, the Law Offices put me on a three way after my bank told me they hadn't heard from them. They called the lender and it was like they talked all the time. The bank was obviously telling me this because they didn't want to deal with them. I'm happy and I'm sure if you all give them a chance, you will be too.

Consumer Beware: Google this guy and judge for yourself if you want to hire him or not. There's enough people out there complaining about him.
I wished I never came across Brian Colombana and his firm.
Loan Modification
Thanks to Mr. Scam Artist Attorney at Law (Brian Colombana) I just lost my home to the bank and have no place to go, just waiting for the Sheriff to show up at my door and tell me to leave. Is anyone filing a Class Action lawsuit against him that I can add my name to? I think it is time for a good old fashioned witch burning event, I have plenty of dry wood ready to throw in the fire and Mr. Colombana at the stake.

Just to update Mr. Colombana location.
He move hes scam office to South America in Cali-Colombia, 23rd Floor building Torre de Cali and he's new business partner Mr. Thomas Dinh with Aiding Student Relief scaming the american people whit false help on student loan reduction. Mr. Dinh scam office is located on the same building 29th Floor.

Well my husband and I are also part of Mr Colombana's scam as well. We are in the process of doing a short sale on our house because of the lies and run around he did. Our mortgage company never received anything that he promised he was doing to do. So add us to your list.

Clementina.. 2 things you can do
1. File a complaint through California State Bar. They will give you a case
2. File an arbitration through your Country Bar Association.. They are very good in handling this type of case.
Join a class action law suit... I think someone already started to ge the ball rolling against this ###...
Sounds like happyclient8539 is part of the Colobana crew masquerading as a client. Glad you they did not guarantee you a positive result...because some of his victims received NO RESULTS at all.
I hired the Law Offices of Brian J. Colombana and didn't have a bad experience at all. I knew going into it that they couldn't guarantee me a positive result. I got a positive outcome and my loan was modified. It looks like they weren't able to get your lender to modify your loan but it seems like your anger is misdirected. The bank is the one that didn't give you a modification. The bank is the one that sold your house. You hired the law office to help you fight them. I also imagine that the bank sold your house because you didn't make the payments, wouldn't that be your fault. I had to go behind to qualify for the loan modification like everyone else but I made sure I never went further than 2 months behind. Your post seems a little drastic.
