NAShq.com Non-delivery of NAS

Sells Network Attached Storage (NAS) equipment via website. Ordered pre-configured unit, then nothing. Called the 800 number and was told it "was on the bench" being checked out. It must have been a long evaluation, because three weeks later it had not shipped. Called again to cancel the order, and was told I couldn't do that... and the person (Jason) said he could only estimate that it would ship in a week (that's a month since ordering). I gave up... went to PayPal (his method of payment) with my complaint, and we're still sorting it out. NAShq.com and PayPal are a lethal combination. Don't buy from this company (or person it sounds like). Find another vendor. Low price means you get what you pay for. Keywords: NASHQ, NASHQ.com, NAShq

NAShq.com Non-communicative, non-delivery of item

This vendor will not deliver the product and is non-communicative. After researching, there are numerous complaints concerning product delivery and evasive communications.

Bought a "new" iomega storcenter from these guys 9 months ago. Started breaking down a few months back. When I contacted iomega they said they won't support it. nashq had installed unsupported drives into an iomega chassis, thus voiding the warranty. When contacted, nashq basically said nothing and implicitly denied all wrong doing. But in reality, they swapped out the engine from under the hood and sold something as new - a complete rip-off of a place. Stay away, whatever you do. This thing is a total sham. You'll regret ever doing business with them. I wish I looked them up before I made the ebay purchase.

Should have known when the system was shipped late and there was no communication that NASHQ.com was trouble. 14 months after sale (2 months out of warranty), I'm having problems. Only ever get voice mail on the phone. Voice mail greeting says to send email. Emails are either deleted unread, read but not responded to, or responses are useless (ex: try Google). It's clear that he doesn't even read my emails thoroughly because he'll suggest that I try something which I've clearly stated that I've already tried.

I had a problem with non-delivery fron NASHQ.com also, and someone named "Jason Isett" told me they charge 20% to cancel NON-SHIPPED orders, once the order is placed online. So, their corporate policy is: we can jerk you around for weeks, and charge a 20% fee to do it. This company (I think it's a guy working out of his basement) has been a nightmare. Avoid them at all costs. This is one sleazy operation. They also ignore emails... fortunately MasterCard handled it for me.

I also struggled with very long delay times, terse excuses and very poor customer service. I will never make another purchase with NASHQ.com, and could not recommend them. I think the order the unit from their vendor when they receive the order on their website... something is just not right. If you are willing to wait about 30 days from order to delivery, you're OK... otherwise avoid them. NASHQ.com requests PayPal for payment, and PayPal won't help you resolve problems, so it is a bad deal all around. Don't be fooled by low price, as I was.
