Misleading job listings and deceptive interview invitations
Twice I have replied to vague job listings of this company through Craigslist asking for more information about the company and position. I did not include a resume, but asked many questions. Both times, I received some sort of automatic scripted response inviting me to an interview signed by an administrative assistant from their company.
The first time they thanked me for sending them my information. I did not send any information, and they didn't answer my questions. They just invited me to have an interview for a position that I knew nothing about.
The second time, they sent an e-mail that said "Good morning" at 3:00 pm in the afternoon. Again, I didn't send any information, and they invited me to an interview. I had asked if it was a telemarketing or sales position, as well if they could tell me about the company, and other various questions. They again did not answer my questions, except for telling me the name of the company was "Fratelli" in the Teleking Group building though it is really Omega Auto Glass. I had checked up on the address and suite number and found that it was Omega Auto Glass.
I believe that if a company is an honest company, they can tell about what position that they are actually hiring for in the listing, and if they don't have all the details there, they can inform applicants in the response prior to inviting the applicant to the interview. They won't need to be misleading. I also believe that if it is a professional company, they will screen applicants before inviting them to an interview unless they are having a job fair.

Misleading job listings and secretive in interview invitations
Misleading job listings, won't directly answer questions about listed positions, etc.
I have twice replied to vague job listings from this company on Craigslist. Both times I asked about the listed position without attaching my resume, and they replied inviting me to an interview. The first time, they thanked me for sending information that I didn't even send them, and they must have listed the name of the company at that time. The second time that I replied to the listing, they didn't even say it was Omega Auto Glass. They said it was Fratelli. The "invitation" to an interview didn't even say anything about the position. It also appeared to be a scripted automatic e-mail response (it said good morning at 3:00 pm in the afternoon). I find this very unprofessional. Honest companies wouldn't need to mislead applicants to get employees. They also would be up-front instead of withholding so much information prior to an interview.

dishonest invasive sales tactics + awful install = Omega Auto Glass Chandler
I regret the day I let the salesman from Omega talk me into using their 4th rate company for windshield replacement, now wishing I had read these and other reviews first. I now know that they lie to get your business and to make you fade away if you complain, that way they can go on to the next hapless victim. They worked on my truck twice and it got worse not better. They also don't return calls or keep their appointments. These weasels give American auto service a bad name. They sent a man with 35 years experience to replace my glass and this is what I got. Over 31 scratches and chips in my paint job and the worst fitting reveal trim ever installed I'm sure. This guy put a 6 inch scratch in my fender with his belt buckle as he was removing the plastic cowl cover and wipers. He was not wearing his apron at the time. I complained to the salesman because he had said Omega was the best and they had an A+ BBB rating. He said someone would come by the next day and inspect the truck and all would be made right. Wrong! No one ever showed up then or a few days later. He then would not return my calls, no backbone I guess. I had to file a BBB complaint to get a reaction from someone I will call Omega Man, he shows up and agrees all is not good and it will be fixed right. They actually sent the same Tool out to redo the glass and trim and he was brandishing attitude like a weapon. This is what I received: Another quarter inch chip in my paint, better fitting reveal trim if you stand head on 20 feet away. The trailing edge of the trim has an 1/8 inch gap against the roof sheet metal and from the side it is quite ill fitting and wavy. Now when it rains water and dirt collect in that gap. I realized later on I had no antenna and there was tacky black adhesive smeared on my doors, cowl, hood and even the interior (under the black goo on the drivers door was the quarter inch chip). I called and actually talked to Omega Man about the tacky black adhesive oozing out from below the windshield and he said it was moisture activated and would dry when the weather became more humid. It got humid, rained on and washed but never dried. Still tacky. After discovering the chip and missing antenna I tried calling Omega Man again and guess what, Yep no call back. I have since had an estimate to fix my truck by a local Dealer and it will only cost $1114.00 just to fix the paint (antenna and reveal trim extra). Omega Man did send a company out to fix the paint, I don't want to leave this out. These guys showed up 5 days late (they did keep in touch each day though) and when they got here they had nothing to fix my truck. They said they were interior specialists and if I brought it to their shop they would rattle can touch up all the scratches on my truck. I declined the generous offer of such a low budget quick fix. Omega Man led me to believe these guys were paint specialists. I have checked with other glass companies regarding the tacky adhesive and Omega Mans explanation, all (3) agree moisture activated windshield adhesive is nonsense and beware it was not the right adhesive to use. I could lose the glass on a hard bump, panic stop or impact. Now it seems my life and passengers are in jeopardy..will it ever end.
John if you owned a Mercedes, Jaguar, Aston Martin, Bugatti, Lamborghini or a Ferrari, would you be happy with 1-3 scratches or as you put it maybe 9-10 times. I think maybe no. I have a simple 2002 Silverado definitely not worth the cost of the above mentioned vehicles. But the key word here is cost. I paid about 26K for my truck and the paint job still looks great. Except of course the scratches from YOUR poor quality installer. You guys sent Rex Cook out and he saw the paint damage I speak of. As far as wanting a new paint job, this is 2010 and I don't even think Earl Schieb could give me a factory quality paint job for that price. Sorry Earl if I spelled your name wrong. The point here is this, a good installation should have been undetectable as far as fit and finish. I know it can be done. My friend, his wife and son all own Camaros and all three had windshields replaced and the end results were great. No scratches, perfect window trim and no parts missing. My estimate was done by Power Chevrolet and they estimated a professional fix not a quick fix. After 8 years of service the truck has it's share of rock chips and door dings even a few scratches but not enough to warrant a new paint job. I paid for my truck with hard work and long hours. I would hope an American company would appreciate that and take pride in the work they perform. I regret ruffling your feathers John and almost admire you for sticking up for your company but calling your customers names and using profanity in a public forum like this just proves what a low budget 4th rate company Omega Auto Glass Chandler is. You guys know where I live, you've been here 3 times. The truck is still as you left it. Come on over and tell me face to face I am making this all up. Or in your next rebuttal, deny working for Omega and call me a few more profane names.
31 Scratches and chips MY ###! It sounds like someone is trying to get a new paint job. Dont get me wrong they may have scratched your vehicle 1, 2, 3 maybe even 9 or 10 times but 31 scratches and some chips YOUR FULL OF ###! It's people like you that give companies a bad reputation!
Rude Solicitation
A representative of Omega Auto Glass rang our doorbell around 5:00 p.m. When my husband answered the door, she did not identify what company she worked but rather, began asking questions about his car. Eventually she said she was doing work for our neighbor (which was not true as our neighbors explained they were told the same thing) and could replace his cracked windshield for free. He explained he was busy, eating dinner and could she just leave the contact information. She immediately grew visibly angry. I had gone to the door at this point to see what was keeping my husband. I told her if they had a quote lower than we already had, we would consider her company. She asked what amount the quote was that I already had. I told her I would compare hers and see which was lower. She argued with me in an effort to get me to tell her the amount. She then asked why everyone in "this neighborhood" had such a bad attitude. I explained to her that she had come onto our property, interrupted our dinner, and did not leave when told we were busy and it was rude that she accuse me of having a bad attitude. She continued making rude comments and even faces at me. I took the paper she had given my husband with her name and number and walked away, my husband had to wait for her to back up to close the door. We hope to reach a manager to advise them of her rudeness in an effort to stop her from harassing other people. Based on the information I have seen after researching this company online, I'll not hold my breath.

Door to Door Solicitation
Sales representatives for Omega Auto Glass repeatedly come to my door trying to tell me I need my windshield replaced. How would they know that, unless they are snooping around looking at vehicles on my property? "Sales representative" looked like a thug and had to be told three times to go away. I have a professional do all of my vehicle auto glass work - this company definitely does NOT fit that profile!

i am so angry with this company. i want them shut down. their sales man would not leave my property. how would they know anything was wrong with my vehicle unless they were snooping around on my private drive. i can not get these people to leave me alone!
Rude, threatening solicitation
We received a knock on our door last night from a person who represented Omega Auto Glass. He refused to properly identify himself, document a local business license in Tucson and became angry when we didn't invite him into the house. He claimed that he was only giving away "free" windshields and that doesn't require licensing. His was very dirty and dressed poorly and eventually provided a business card with his name handwritten as identification.
The problem is that he was very rude claiming that he wasn't concerned about me because "God was on his side" and that "I needed God". When I asked how he had knowledge of my relationship with God or what that had to do with my inviting him (unidentified and uninvited) into my house, he walked off. With some insistence I called him back and he provided the business card claiming he was a subcontractor to Omega. I had no way to tell if he was authentic or simply a grifter. We have had several neighborhood burglaries within the last month.
I contacted the office of Omega in Chandler and they flatly refused to let me talk to any of the owners or contacts listed with the BBB. They offered to have a manager return my call and the manager has not yet returned the call. I find it patently offensive when people who could be a threat expect to invade our home unidentified and additionally assume that they have an inside track with God that excludes everyone outside their particular sect. Online I have found several complaints of bad attitudes and bad service from this company. I shouldn't be surprised that they hide behind religion in order to gain the trust of potential victims.

Tony or Anthony Marinucci is one of the owners. He is an ex-convict. While they are at least unethical, one might be careful before inviting the known associates of a convicted criminal into their home. I think that the reviewer was right to be careful. Tony Marinucci is someone you should be very careful about doing business with.
I work for this company and have for 3 years. All your complaints have to do with the reps and not the company itself. It's a wonderful company and has helped me out in more ways then I can count. U need to quit judging the company by its reps. Would u say a restaurant sucked because the waiter gave u bad service. Come on people quit this B. S. lets b real.

These people are scammers! Matthew Wallace came to my door telling me he could fix the crack in my windsheild... I had just got back from picking my kids up from school... and there WAS NO crack in my windsheild. This liar actually BROKE my windsheild so I would give him my insurance info... are YOU KIDDING ME? Then.. i called the company and have talked to several people who now everytime i call they are "Not in the office" and NO ONE will return calls! They are running an insurance SCAM! I contacted the BBB and I am going to write a letter to every insurance company I can think of. Now after reading all the horrible things about this businessw.. I dont want THEM to put on a new windsheild... I want the money for someone ELSE to do it! Liars! Scammers!
Josh and gabrial from Omega auto glass came to my door on May 26, 2011. Josh had been here before and I informed him that I didn't want the companies services. He shows up again with his partner Gabriel .This time he leans on my wall and puts his foot on my wall and knocks some stucco off! Josh further told me that my window had a crack in it the size of a "disco ball that was in the line of vision". Factually the window has a small ding on the lower left side of the windsheild, which IS not interfering with seeing the road.He then demanded to know why I haven't had my windsheild changed. After that comment I told him to leave my property. As they were walking away I could hear their conversaion which was to the effect of what my problem was and that he was only trying to "help" me. First if you're going to try and get someone's business don't dress inappriopriately, don't lean on their walls, and further don't demand answers to questions that are none of your business.Further more Ifelt that they were rude. I DO NOT want any more auto glass people coming to my door and trying to "sell" me a product, nor do I want them looking in my vehicle. In addition my community plainly states NO SOLICITING!
this company sucks! I also have had problems they replaced my windsheild never gave me my 50$ rebate that was suppose to be deliverd at time of install.not only that i had to call them back two days later because the windsheild started to have pits allover it like it was driven thru a sandblaster... and was the wrong windsheild to begin with.so they came out to replace the windsheild.. this time it was the correct glass ..but they charged my ins. company for a new windsheild [censor]s! which was installed wrong and i had to have it replaced again! it sounded like i was in a flight simulator the wind from outside when you drove would come thru whear they were suppose to seal it..what a bunch of [censor]. this company should be sued..when i called to complain again they refused to let me talk to the owner or management. i have never recived a call from them... they still come by every few months pokeing around my cars trying to sell me a windsheild.. when i tell the agent to have thear company call me i get no response.. dont deal with omega it will cost you and your ins. more many for [censor] product and service.
your an old fart who should get over it and die. dont you see why the kids dont visit. myk v

Never deal with them
The summer of 2009 I had a windshield replaced on my vehicle by Omega auto glass. The representative I worked with was great too bad the work that was done on my windshield has completely horrible. They installed a windshield that had a chip on the top corner when I mentioned to the installer they just added a chemical to make sure it wouldn't run. The installer was very rude and left. I went back to work and three days later the chip started to run all the way down the middle of the windshield. I called and they came out to just inspect the windshield, my appointment time was from 8am to 11am they did not show until 3pm. After the inspection I had to make another appointment to install another windshield this time when they installed it they didn't seal the parts correctly. When it rained all the water flooded the passenger side and damaged a 150 dollar part in the ac. When I called to report the install manager was very rude and said it was not their fault that I must have done something to the molding. I would not take anymore of it called my Insurance and my attorney and filed a lawsuit. Word of advice never deal with Omega Auto glass out of Tucson, AZ and Phoenix, AZ.

I wish I could put ZERO stars! Do not use this glass company ever. They came out to fix our windshield and after they had started they knocked on the door to tell me that there was a crack in my dashboard. They had already started to attempt to get the windsheild out. They gave me a whole song and dance about how the sun causes it and they can't afford to pay for it out of pocket. And asked me to sign saying it was there before. Big mistake on my part. But I will say how was I to know any different and I also had a baby in the house that I didn't want to leave alone for more then a few seconds. Totally took advantage of me being a girl without any clue about cars. When my husband came home, who is a MECHANIC and looked at the crack he was livid because it was completely apparent that there were screwdriver marks on the dash where they had tried to pry the dash up to get the windshield out causing the crack. After trying to get them to replace the dash that they obviously cracked the manager came out to look at it. His name is Rocky. He tried to get my husband to call our dealer and get them to replace it because "the dash is really expensive, like $880". How shady can you get?! Asking us to lie because their company doesn't want to replace it. Don't you have insurance for times like these? Finally the general manager called and said that since I signed the paper they don't see what the problem is and will not do the honorable thing and replace what they broke. So, long story short stay away from this worthless company with horrible customer service. Any glass company in Arizona is going to be better then theirs.
I had changed my appt. since reading this information. The ad in craigslist is for a CELL number of a woman name "Star" unknown if that's her real name. My interview was to be with a Dave. I asked outright, do I have to sell windshields door to door and so forth. She replied we have many positions available as we are expanding our operations. Maybe it was a script who knows. But I specifically asked if the name of the company was Omega Auto Glas, and she said NO, it was "marin" I asked her to spell it. Maybe I got it wrong, but I can't find ANYTHING that is MARIN. ALSO, regarding the discrepancy between 135 and 145 Chilton, she said it was "the same difference" and it didn't matter which one because it was all Unit 101, I found this curious.
This "company " is absolute bogus. To anyone replying to the vague ads they send out, your position is essentially a door knocker. They use dishonest tactics to scam insurance agencies and are very shady people. Their office reminds me of the scenes in the film "Boiler Room" and nearly ever person that has worked there for longer than a month is so utterly dishonest that it's comical. Treat these people like the plague that they are.
Went to an "interview" there today with Tony and some other guy. After asking me three times if I was ready to make some money they determined I was qualified for the job.
Then the other guy brings me upstairs and tries every psychological trick in the book and tries to force me to quit my other job on the spot to try and sell glass door to door.
He consistently played mind games and tried to tell me my hesitance was due to a lack of intelligence.
These guys are crooks who send a bunch of kids out in their vans to make their money for them.
Pathetic group of manipulative crooks.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
I totally agree with all the above comments. I experienced the same, I sent my inquiry and resume, well with in a matter of second received a mail for interview. I was wondering how is this working out. Thank you all for you feedback I would just ignore their mails.
Any update now? They are still on craigslist under auto glass, melanie?
Yeah, it sure looks like it is all the same company. They told me today that Fratelli is a new business entity. However, they are still presenting job listings lacking details, inviting to interviews just when sending them a reply to their listings (no matter what the message says), and being unwilling to answer questions except at an interview- this is even without submitting resumes or showing interest in the positions. Why is it that so many telemarketing companies use dishonest tactics like this? It is better business ethics to be up front. Don't try to lure people through an interview invitation.
Fratelli Auto Glass is a extremely deceptive company.
The company how has 3 names it sells under. And its Telemarketing. I had applied for a job listing with them that was bogus.. When I found out what I was doing was Illegal. I left but never got paid for all my sales. I am curious why Chandler does not investigate that company and shut them down.
I too was just invited to and interview asking me to come in asap by a company named Fratelli but when I looked it up it does say it is Omega Auto Glass. This is very misleading and I asked them to send me more information before I go on a wild goose chase.
