OMNI HORIZONS, INC. No magazine, no refund

A door-to-door magazine salesman came selling subscriptions. I placed and order, paid cash (big mistake!) and never received the magazine. Subsequently, I faxed a refund request to Omni Horizons, Inc at [protected] as per their instructions. The fax was sent on 8/18/09. As of 9/29/09 I have not heard from them.

I bought a subscription from them in May 2008 from a teenage boy who said they were sponsoring some "young urban entrepreneur" program. Omni Horizons cashed my check the next day, but months and months went by and no magazine came. I assumed I'd just been scammed. Low and behold, today in the mail, a year and a half later, I actually got my first issue of the magazine! According to the magazine's customer service, the order was not actually placed with them until August 2009. Not sure what's up with Omni Horizons, but eventually, you may actually end up with that subscription after all.

OMNI HORIZONS, INC. I didn't receive magazine neither refund

I ordered Psychology Today on the 21st of May and I didn’t receive it after 120 days. I called OMNI HORIZONS, INC. on the 22nd of September and I was told that they forgot to subscribe me to the magazine. They advised me to either wait for at least two more months or to cancel the prescription. I have sent a letter to OMNI HORIZONS, INC. the same day asking to cancel my subscription and refund my payment. Since I didn’t receive my refund, I contacted OMNI HORIZONS, INC. again on the 3rd of November. The lady who called me back promised that OMNI HORIZONS, INC. would refund me by the end of 2008. It is June 2009 and I still have not received my refund.
