This Penny Auction Watch site is Major scam(pennyauctionwatch.com). Also known as "PAW".

PAW is a front for these dishonest penny auction owners to make their sites look legit. Penny Auction Owners plant positive experiences on here(Complaints Board) and on the Penny Auction Watch forums(PAW) to bait people into playing and buying bid packs. Buying bid packs to bid on items? What a joke and scam!

Go to Flippa[dot]com and search "penny auctions for sale"

There you can see how these operates by the use of controlled bots on autobid to scam any real people into buying more and more bid packs until the reserve price has at least been met for that item that's bid on. They aren't in the business to LOSE money and will never ACTUALLY sell an item below value. If not enough real people are bidding on a particular item for a while, they will end the auction to a bot name. They will then list the bots name in the "Auction History" section to make it look as if REAL people actually win and auction is honest+fair.

You can buy your own Penny Auction from Flippa.com and start scamming also. So easy to do.

Also. Google, "penny auction website script" and see how these scams operate. The scripts are cheap to buy.
To build up traffic to your scam penny auction you must plant positive experiences on forums such as PAW(PAW is a front). You must also dispute ANY negativity or complaints on forums such as this.
For EX, tell the angry complainer that he must be crazy, use stupid bidding techniques and unlucky because you win all the time and just won a 52inch Plasma for 2 bucks. People WILL start believing you if you plant enough fake postitive experiences/reviews. JUST make sure to use different names each time you fake post. If you use same name over and over again telling everyone you win all the time, people will begin to catch on and realize it's just a fake post planted by the Penny Site operator/owner.

They cheat you and make a killing from people like you that bought into it. Some will even go as far as to advertise on social networking sites such as "FACEBOOK" and write stories of winning items for $4 and so on to get people to join the site.
I call it their, "Fake Social Environment" where they ask and answer their own questions attempting to be perceived as an honest and fair auction. For EX they will say, "I just won 12 Lap Tops for $40 and they all arrived today in factory sealed boxes! I love this site!"

Anyone can do this... so easy to make money. MAKE sure that the server that hosts your scam auction is located outside of the USA so you can get around federal gambling regulated laws. If heat gets to much, then shut scam auction down and create a new one. Repeat process.

You use to could post on PAW right away but now they have a Moderator that must approve your post first.. I wonder why that is? ;)

They place their insiders to bid and at the end their people win with the Genuine members losing. Having some pity on genuine members they let them win some cheap items like Wii remote controller, Gift cards, etc

Pennycave is oure BS! I had my bids on constant autuobid and stayed on it, than out of the blue it states someoene else won? Man screw that...these thieving ### willnever get another dime from me again...please watch this...they are scammers!

i for one have not had any issues with pennycave.com i have won 11 things with them and i have gotten every single item. i have been with the site since October of 2008. at the beginning it was pretty easy to win due to not as many people bidding. also less high rollers. people that bid alot on things. at the beginning shipping was no more then 2 weeks. but when 2009 rolled around the shipping took about almost a month. that's probably the main reason why i don't really want to bid on pennycave anymore. they have never took any money other then what the original payment was when i paid for the item. so not sure about about everybody else. i actually love the site. but its getting to crazy now due to a lot of bidders now and how long the shipping takes.

i haven't had any issues with them and i have been bidding on the site since October of 2008. i have been there for over a year. when i did have a problem with a shipment of an item they responded that day and they sent the item again. not sure why people keep saying that they are a scam cause i have won 11 items with them and i have got every item from them that i had won. oh and btw when you are at checkout it does say that it goes to BidOneDollar pay pal account

Just wanted to warn anyone who is considering using this site or has been taken by www.pennycave.com that this site is a total scam. They are advertised everywhere you can imagine on the web as an online auction. However, they are a penny auction site that is scamming many people.

After a lot of researching and calls, I found that this site is NOT in New Jersey as they claim and, in fact, is an overseas company. Pennycave is associated with BidOneDollar, which was an overseas company that has also scammed many people out of life savings and big bucks with a Penny Stock scam.

Pennycave.com is already listed through the Better Business Bureau of New Jersey as being a fraudulent site with no contact information whatsoever.

If you have been scammed by them, dispute the charges with your credit card, as they are advertising as an "auction" when, in fact, they are a gambling site. In their rules, they even list certain US states that they can't do business with and these are states that prohibit gambling.

In short, stay far away from pennycave.com. You won't win anything and they will take your money!

They don't tell you in their rules that they are an outright scam and fraud! They don't tell you that they are NOT in NewJersey but rather overseas. They don't tell you they are affiliated with BidOneDollar, another scam fraud company, and the list goes on!

But, if you don't like the site, then why did you take the time to sign up on here to stick up for them?

read the rules. I don't like the site, however, thats why I don't use it. Try reading the rules first... the site tells you that you'll be charged one credit per bid. Its a different type of auction style site. Don't be lamish b/c you don't take the time to read the rules. Thats your fault.

I had the same nightmarish problem with this fradulent site. They are not in New Jersey as stated, as I did an extensive follow-up on them. From what I uncovered, they are overseas and are affiliated with BidOneDollar, which was a large scheme in which many people lost big $ in penny stocks. I agree with the poster...Stay away and keep your money! If you have been scammed by these people, contact your credit card and dispute the charge.
