I too experienced the same situation. I bought through PayPal ProChatRooms software along with the Remove Branding for $80. I requested the free installation and they never installed it. I then Hired a programmer to install it for me and they said there was something wrong with the program; it would not install because it was missing critical files. When...

They do not answer their emails. There is no contact phone. "PayPal" takes your money, but PayPal has no links that can refund your money.

I suggest you get boomchat. it does what no prochat room does and a lot more. more control over your chat and add ons with it. built in radio player on the chat room. easy to add smiles and avatars. gues log on or reg log in. have 5 level of staff. mute chat room, kick from chat room mute a person, ban and no vpn can get in if a person is banned. 20.00 and its all yours. http://www.boomchat.com

I just wanted you guys to know...
I was going to upgrade to version 8.1 as of 3 days ago...
I was going to not only buy the video chat but also was going to buy the login gallery plugin, the advertising plugin, the share files plugin and if that isnt enough I was also going to sign up for the monthly $20.00 video hosting as well... but... I needed a few questions answered... I sent 6 messages through direct email... tickets and forums... and no one ever responded!
Therefor you lost a big sale! I waited for 3 days for an answer and no one ever responded.
So what choice was I left with?
I went to a whole new chat system!
Visichat!
Bought it outright, installed it and have to say it blows prochatrooms away!
They got you beat, not by a mile, but by 10 miles! it is state of the art flash based and it is gorgeous! I love it.
you could have had my business but you decided I wasnt important enough to answer, well now you get nothing from me!
I admit I was upset when you first decided to start charging people for plugins on the new version 8, and I was not going to upgrade at all, but after thinking about it, I thought well you know, these guys work hard on these plugins to design it for a pretty decent looking system so fine, I will pay for the plugins and get a nice system to offer to my users, but after being totally ignored and tossed to the side like I didnt matter in the least to anyone in prochatrooms, I thought to myself, do I really want to do business with people who treat people like this? no I absolutely do not!
Im a business man, not one of your website kids in their 20's with a hobbyist chat to entertain their friends and buddies,
(no one take offense - I dont mean it in an offensive manner, it's just an example)
I am a 53 year old man running a professional business on a professional site and use chat as a professional tool
(im in the music entertainment business)
And the people im associated with in my industry would have been hearing the name prochatrooms.
You might be saying so what, who do you know?
Ever heard of bobby vinton? pat boone? tommy james from tommy james and the shondells? how about the 5th dimension? any of those names ring a bell?
These are people I do business with!
And now they will hear the name visichat, not prochatrooms!
You blew it!
I have version 7 on my website as a backup and will use it only in an emergency if my new chat system goes down, I have that right because I paid the fee to have it licensed to my site and unless you refund me my money, I will use it when I want and how I want or not use it at all.
I highly doubt that the new techs I am dealing with however will allow the server to go down or the new chat I just bought to not work, because they have onsite tech support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, which sadly is more than I can say for prochatrooms!
Hope your happy with your choice to ignore your customers!
You must be pretty wealthy to not have to worry about making money huh?

when you only have one person handeling all of the support issues you have to give them time and have patience, i am a prochatroom purchaser as well and yes it took them a few days to get intouch with me but they kept their word and installed what ever i needed to be installed, i also purchased all of the plugins and Jason was fantastic, he installed all of the plugins for me and even set them up to work with social engine. when people say prochartooms is a scam its only a scam if you dont get your product after paying for it, just because people cant figure out how to install it doesnt make it a scam and people need to stop stating prochatrooms is a scam because that is called slander. slander is talking bad about someone stating untrue facts. And if prochatrooms wanted they could go after each and every one of you slandering their name. so just be careful who your calling a scammer.
They scammed me out of $134
Just read all the people theyve scammed and do not get any chatrooms or wordpress video chat rooms from these people.
Devious and refuse to refun even though they never installed or licenced my software and ignored me for days after payment.
They know I cant use the softare and refuse to refund.
Taking them to court and will be getting a prochatrooms domain and doing a full report with screenshots as a review.
lets see the follow up then

For your reference, paypal does include the ability to initiate a refund should a dispute be created.
