The Card With No Expiration Date That Expired 8 Months Ago
I just recently had a very bad experience at Quiznos / 955 Campbell Road / Richardson, TX. I realize that writing this email will probably do no good, since I was told when I called the corporate office that (and I am quoting here) Quiznos prefers not to “deal” with customer issues. (Yeah, you read that last sentence right).
I had a punch card for eight sandwiches that I bought on Groupon. As stated on Groupon, in the fine print, this card DOES NOT expire. When I tried to use it today, the manager very loudly and very rudely told me that the Groupon deal was 8 months ago and he would not honor it. Unfortunately, this card was good only at his location. I pointed out to him that the card did not expire. He said he was knew that but he was not going to honor it, since it was 8 months ago. He told me to call corporate if I did not like that.
When I tried the corporate number, the receptionist told me that Quiznos prefers not to “deal” with customers. (Hmmm, wonder who they think is paying their paycheck?) I called Groupon to try to resolve this. The lady from Groupon spoke with the manager. He acknowledged to her that the card was good, but that he would not honor it. The Groupon person told me he was one of the rudest people she had ever spoken to. I tried Corporate office again and was again told they don’t have a “customer service” area (I guess since Quizno’s does like to “deal” with customers that makes sense). Finally, reluctantly, I was transferred over to Greg in Franchise Services to see if he could help. But apparently Greg also does not like to “deal” with those horrible hated customers either since I did not receive but even a courtesy call. I was able to get a refund from Groupon (oddly enough, they actually did not mind “dealing” with a customer).
And how does this story end? Well, since Quiznos does not like to “deal” with customers, I drove down one block and purchased my sandwiches at Pot Belly (and they were better than Quiznos). You can stop shuddering in horror at the close call you had at ALMOST having to “deal” with a customer, I will never again walk in the doors of a Quiznos. I have removed Quiznos from my administrative catering list. And I will tell as many people as possible that they should not be forcing themselves on Quiznos, as you prefer not to “deal” with customers.
Honor their coupons, actually be willing to "deal" with customers.
Homosexual commercial
Commercial is clearly homosexual in nature. A male voice asking another male to put it (toasty, footlong torpedo) in him? Unbelievable! This ad should be removed from the air. As for me, I will never eat at Quizno's again.

To whom it may concern:
My husband and I were having lunch in the lobby area of the Quizno’s located in the Prime Outlets of Pleasant Prairie, WI when we noticed an unusual altercation between about four Quizno’s employees and a female customer. We weren’t sure but it appeared as though the woman had an issue with the sandwich she was served. The restaurant employees refused to remake her sandwich or issue her a refund. One of the Quizno’s employees even yelled, laughed at and mocked the woman. In all, the woman left the restaurant without a sandwich or a refund; my husband and I also left. My husband and I found it very strange that the employees were not willing to at least offer the woman another sandwich. The entire scene was very bizarre and highly unusual, and made my husband and me very uncomfortable.
My complaint isn't with the food, but with the lousy service..we visit Quizno's often and love their food, but the food even though it is great isn't worth the constant aggravation we go through trying to order! These people neither speak nor understand english..when you are greeted you have to ask the server to repeat what she's said then you order and you have to repeat very slowly what you want at least 3 times before she gets it..it always gets me when I order a certain sandwich she always asks if I want the sauce that comes with it..duh that's why I ordered that sandwich..she puts toppings on your sandwich then asks if you want that topping..on our last visit she filled my Partners sandwich with lettuce then said "you want lettuce?"..to save time my Partner said "I do now"..neither of us eat lettuce..and we each get a different sandwich and split them...so I spent most of the night picking lettuce out of my sandwich..she added salt to my sandwich without my asking her to..this is dangerous coz my baby has heart trouble and can't have salt..I was able to order only one of my wanted toppings before I could ask her to add more to my sandwich she already had it cut and wrapped up..the setup is all wrong in the store..they need all the toppings together and the oven at the end of the counter, but that's a whole other story. We decided to use two of our coupons one each mine was for free chips and a drink and my Babys was for $2 off a large sandwich..I set my coupon down in front of the Girl at the register who spoke little if any english and said we are paying for our orders seperately..she proceeded to ring up both orders I said again no, both orders are seperate..she finally voided my order left my babys order in place I paid then discovered she didn't use my coupon which was in front of her, the other older Woman gave me back the cost of my coupon, then rang up my order and used my babys coupon on it..I guess it doesn't really matter which coupon went with which order, but the sheer aggravation of it all finally hit us and we have decided to get our Quizno's fix at a different location, true we may have to drive about 30 mins out of the way, but at least we wont be aggravated anymore! The thing that gets me is they never give you napkins if you get any you have to ask and they only give you one each..for those messy sandwiches..come on!
I received some "buy one get one free" coupons for Quizno's today, so I decided to head to the one on Alvarado Niles in Union City with my friend for lunch. When I got there, they informed me that they won't accept the "BOGO" coupon, despite the fact that I just received them in the mail 30 minutes ago. Slightly annoyed, we left and headed to the next closest Quizno's on Whipple Road in Hayward. After I had placed my order, I presented my coupon at the register, and was told they won't accept the "BOGO" coupon either! Very pissed off now, we said screw it and went to Togo's.
If anyone from Quizno's corporate reads this, please answer this question for me. What is the point of sending out coupons if none of your franchises will take them? I use coupons for different stores/resturants all the time, and have never been to a location where they will not honor it. It is extremely infuriating to a customer to be jerked around like this. Because of this episode, I will unlikely be visiting a Quizno's any time soon, and would advise my friends and family to do the same.
I went to your store number 5039. I had a coupon for a foot long sandwich for $5. I showed the employee and ordered a sandwich neither myself or the employee noticed that the coupon was for after 5pm and it was only 4:32pm. When the other employee tried to ring up the sandwich for $5 it would not, being it was not 5pm yet. I accept responsibility for the mistake even though I showed it to the employee before I ordered. I paid regular price and was satisfied with the quality of the sandwich. However I feel when any business tries to bring in new business they want that to ge a good first contact which this was not for me. I do not blame the employee for not seeing the after 5pm requirement as I did not see it either and I did look for any requirement. I just wanted to bring this to your attention. sdaniela5050@yahoo.com
quizno food sucks service suck they are a rip off dont ever go there i hope quizno's goes out of buisness those scam artist can suck a dick
I have had very similar experiences with Qiznos. Their recent "Million Subs" promotion seems cool on paper, but each store I've tried to use it at (Boston, MA area) claims they are not participating. I'll stick with Subway. Better value, better food.
I was also at 2800 Sage Rd, houston, Texas
the guy toke my party tray order for the next day.
We had the meeting but one no came with the party
tray..we waited over time but still nothing..gosh
then I called them, he said there was no order..
I was there and paid...service sucks there.
Need to get their act together...never again!
Found the quiznos store on 2800 Sage Rd. houston, texas
just as bad..rude owner and yelling at customer
as well as cutting back on food.
The staff can't understand you or take the orders
correctly. Poorly run place.
Yikes, I would have left the store as well. Under no circumstances should employees yell at or become hostile toward a customer! Even if it wasn't you, at least you guys left. I hope the employees realized that it affects EVERYBODY when they argue.

I had this exact same problem today at a location in Wayne, NJ. I had bought a punchcard via Groupon for this specific location. I was told it expired in May 2011, which is before I even got the punchcard. Then the date changed to October 2011. I was told there was nothing that they could do for me at the location. I have already contacted Groupon and am waiting for a response from them. I also sent a nasty message to Quiznos via their web site. I will also do what I can to deter everyone from Quiznos. They really do deserve to shut down across the board. Survival of the fittest, and if they don't care about their customers they don't deserve to have any.
We ate there one time and will never go back. They were rude and the service lousy and I was not impressed with their food at all! We order a burger, a chicken sandwich and my 4 year old son spaghetti. They waited until they brought out our food to let us know that they were out of spaghetti and we would have to order something else. So, we ordered my son a burger and waited 30 minutes for them to bring it out to us. I ended up sharing my sandwich with him because he was hungry. It was a lousy experience and we will never go back.
