RTG reviews and complaints
Cindy Crawford
I purchased SKU [protected],[protected],[protected] Sofa, cuddled, armless sofa DEC 2020. Purchased the protection plan as well. One of the seat cushion has torn apart at the seam and the sofa springs keep creaking every time you seat and stand. I called the warranty company they came to assess and determined that because the ripe of the cushion was at the seam...

I bought a bed from Rooms To Go, here located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on February 13, 2015. My boyfriend (David Bradford) and I went to the Our Lady of The Lake Hospital in Walker, Louisiana on Saturday, April 18, 2015. We were looked at, asked a few questions. The very first question out of the nurses mouth was, "Have you recently bought a new bed?" I responded, 'Yes ma'am. About a month or so ago.' She proceeded to inform me that I have Scabies, also that companies use foam and cushion out of old mattresses to make new mattresses. Needless to say, David and I both are suffering from constant irritation. I have scratched myself until I can barely touch my skin. It is so sensitive. And now we are stuck with SCABIES, HOSPITAL BILLS, AND AN INFESTED BED/MATTRESS.
If you have recently bought a new bed from Rooms To Go, please be on the lookout. The doctor told us that there has been a lot of outbreak in cases like this. She also said, check your mattress or pillows. If they say "REFURBISHED" return it. That means they have taken the cushion and/or foam from another mattress or pillow and used it for a new one. Please pass this on and inform other people of this situation.
We went to the location we bought it at and they didn't do anything for us. Will be contacting corporate as soon as I can.
I'm also missing time off from work, I'm highly disappointed in this.
Terrible business practices
Terrible business practices! RTG is trying to steel $850 from my elderly parents. The store manager was never available the 3 times my parents went in to return the mattress that was certified "defective" by RTG rep that went to their home. The only seemingly honest person there was the assistant manager who told me that I could use the store credit for the return, because my mom never wants to step foot in the store again. So today I went in to use the credit ($700 because they will not take back the mattress cover that cost $50 and the delivery fees are non refundable.) And I was told by the store manager who just happened to be there when I went in that I could not make a purchase that my mom would have to come in and do it! I stood right there a week ago and was told that I could do it! So the store manager told me that the assistant manager "caved" and he should not have told me that. Don't shop at RTG.

We bought a living room set and dining room set from RTG. They put a protective spray on the furniture that we did not order. The salesman lied and said we insisted on having it. The store mgr. was very rude and demeaning...very unprofessional and simply did not care. Customer service wouldn't do a thing and said they have a no return policy. I contacted the Better Business Bureau and within a couple of days they called and gave us a refund on the protective spray. We will never set foot in that store again...the whole company seems to be corrupt!
