Texaco Staff being abusive

4/10/2015 I went to the garage stated above as i allways do on a sunday morning on my motorcycle.I wear an open face helmet so my face is clearly visible. On this morning i was refused fuel unless i removed my helmet. On pointing out that there was 3 asian women wearing the BURKA and only their eyes visible that had fuelled up before me i was told in foul abusive language to get off the property. This should not be allowed to happen it should be the same rule for everyone.

Texaco No Fuel

I went to fill up my minibus with LPG and only to find that the petrol station had no LPG and only one unleaded pump working. On top of this we asked the staff where the nearest petrol station was for either unleaded or LPG and they told me about 10miles away. I didn't have the fuel for the distance. So we waited for the only pump and continued. Normally this wouldn't bother me except the petrol station is a service station on the M27 and is signposted as a major services from the motorway. This is ridiculous and completely unacceptable to only have 1 out of about 15 pumps working.

Texaco Racism/unfair treatment

I was disgusted at the way I was recently at the Great Hamton Street Petrol Station. on 13th September 2013 I attempted to put petrol in my car only to be told I had to pay first, fair enought I thought albeit 8.30am in the morning which was quite unusal. There was another asian gentleman behind me who was in the process of putting petrol in his van, by the time I went to prepay for my petrol the gentleman proceeded to pay for his petrol, when I asked how come he did not have to pay first in the same way that I had been instructed, i was told, this is because he is my uncle, in this day and age this cannot be true surely, why was I treated differently as a black woman? I was not happy to say the least and left the shop stating Texaco would not be getting my money! Could you please look into this incident I would not want anyone else to be subjected to what I had to endure...to make matters worse I was on empty! [protected]@hotmail.com

Texaco Gang Affiliated Employees

The Employees of this gas station set me up and robbed me. One of their attacked my house, other members have tried to kill me on the street. This is what they do. They identify their victims, stalk their victims and attack. One lives in the duplex at 457/459 Chestnut in Ashland. One drives an older model blue sedan (possible Buick La Sabre) license plate DSS 870 or vice versa. Theser are extremely dangerous criminals and I highly recommend avoiding this gas station all together.

Texaco Health and Safety

I went to pay for my petrol and tried to use my card but their machine wouldn't accept my card so I had to pay 1.75 to get cash out of the machine to pay for my petrol. I paid for my petrol and went outside and the shopkeeper had poured soapy water all over the floor of the petrol station leaving the floor very slippery, there was no wet floor sign out and as i went to get into my car slipped on the surface and nearly fell on my back nearly hitting my head so i quickly grabbed on to the petrol pump as it was the closest thing to me to stop my self from falling and hit my hand on the pump This is not acceptable what if it was a kid that went with their parent and slipped and fell the situation could have been a lot worse!

It happened the same with me in BP petrol station "B P Service Station Pace Cambridge". I went in there for some bits and bobs from the shop when I noticed the 1.37 price for the regular diesel, I put around 11 litres until I realized that the pipe in small print says ultimate diesel, pricing 150 per litre although there was no price of ultimate diesel at all indicated on the "display board".

I did come to the counter to tell my story, but all they did, just stud with a blank faces not knowing what do to. I said to either call the manager or to give me the phone number of the responsible authorities. In a hurry they just printed off the blank receipt with the landline phone number directing to their station.

I would really wish to know what authority is responsible for dealing with an issue like this, as I would really love to make a fuss out of that to see their ### burning, naot ours.

I do accept the fact that customers responsible to stay sharp on spotting the details like this, but due to uclear advertising, they are making a fortune.

Texaco harassment

I have been down on my luck lately but this tops it off. I had to scrounge change up, the last to my name to go out and buy two Arizona iced teas and after walking over a mile down the road to the Texaco on the corner of Cox Rd. and Franklin in Gastonia NC proceeded to check out. I put the items on the counter and he rang them up fair enough, total of $2.13 cents. Even after letting customers in front of me pay because I knew it was going to take a moment to correctly count out the change I laid it out on the counter. Over $2.50 was placed on the counter. He shouted no and attempted to grab me and my items which I admittedly wrestled from his grasp fairly in shock and quite flustered. In reaction I grasped what he was reaching for and proceeded to walk away before the incident got any farther out of control. He followed me out to the parking lot screaming at me grasping for my shirt as I left too angry to even turn back and justify his actions with a well mannered response. I have reason to believe that he may in fact have called the police against me after having flat out refused service and even tried to take my items from me after I had obviously laid out the change with which I was going to pay. To verify this I can only say my full name, address, and the time this incident had occurred. Honestly I have to say that I am well beyond angry at this point as my record may be in jeopardy due to this clerk. I have a clean arrest record and have had no incidents with the law any time before now. The fact that I may in fact be under investigation for theft after having clearly laid out money on the counter and was treated like a thief is beyond appalling. I do not even know where to approach this matter as I may never shop at that store where I have pumped my gas, paid for my drinks before work, and generally have had to pass by every day for fear of criminal charges. I don't know how this will end but I demand an apology and a notice that the police have been made aware of this blatant misunderstanding and I will not face anything for this farce.

My name is David Gareth Largeteau and I live at 203 N. New Hope Rd Gastonia NC. The incident occurred somewhere between 12 and 1 am on October 24th. I expect a response with the utmost speed as I will not be beyond pressing charges if I am arrested for this insult.

Texaco Awful company

I would like to let you know of an incident that happened at Texaco this morning. I went to the station at 12950 Coit Rd, Dallas, TX 75251 to get gas this morning at around 9:20. I tried to use my credit card outside at the pump, and was told that my transaction was denied and that I would have to see the cashier. I went inside and used THE SAME CREDIT CARD for $10 worth of gas, and it was approved. I went outside to pump my gas, and the pump turned OFF at $9.97. It didn't slow down, and I made sure that it had actually turned off.

I was late for work, and it was 28 degrees, and I thought- hey it's only 3 cents, so I did not pursue it any further. However, as I was driving I began to think that with the volume of cars that probably come through that station, if he is making a $.03 profit on every one, he is probably making a killing, preying off people who, like myself, think 'well, it's only 3 cents'. It still sounds kind of stupid, but with the economy as bad as it is...

I have reported the incident to Chevron. I am sure it was the operator, not corporate policy, but we will see what they have to say.

I have no knowledge of the station in question (I live in Washington state), but I work on fueling stations & gas pumps for a living (Texaco and Shell in particular).

It is not possible for the operator to "rig" a gas pump to shut off three cents early. It simply is not. The hydraulics and valves in a fuel dispenser are self-contained which makes such tampering impossible. There are any number of reasons the pump shut off early, with a bad valve being the most likely culprit. But please take note of the difference between EQUIPMENT FAILURE and intentional scamming by the operator. With fuel prices the way they have been for the past five years, I constantly witness these poor folks taking the brunt of the assault from angry and inconsiderate customers who are pissed off simply because of the high petro prices and want to find someone who they can blame for their frustrations.

Additionally: if you prepay xxxx dollars on a credit card at a gas station and you do not dispense the full amount, the change is automatically credited back to your card. This is a process automated by the credit network; you do not need to go back into the station for this to take place.

TWIN CREEKS TEXACO IN ALLEN TEXAS: I bought a car wash, the pressure was low and the machine made terrible screeching noises, I was afraid my car would be dammaged with all the noises it was making! When finished the cycle my car was still filthy from the rain and bugs still stuck all over the front grill, bumper, windshield and mirrors! I went inside and that is what was sooo disturbing the foreign fell behind the counter said he would not refund my money, thats what you get when you buy this car wash and if I wanted he would sell me another three times the price. Then he threatened me with "What you gonna do, huh!" He kept repeating this over and over in a cocky loud voice. I could not reason with this person, heck, he wouldnt comprehend when I told him about the machine having no water pressure to wash or the terrible noises it was making! He said "I sell several of these with no complaints" Well, his machine has one now as it doesnt work and he continues to sell washes with a nonworking machine. I thught in this country, if you dont get what you paid for you get refunded or restituted...he has another opinion/approach/view. I asked for my reciept back and left without courtesy or a refund for services not rendered!

INJUSTICE BEING DONE TO THE GRADUATE OF NIGER DELTA
It is now a known fact that most of the oil companies in Niger Delta are not employing the graduates from that region as it is surpose to be.
Besides, most of the contractors serving under this companies are employing primary school leaving certificate, senior secondary school certificate people and some are not having certificate.
These contractors are not paying the workers the money they are surpose to get. How can nigeria grow with such injustice perpetrated by the oil companies and their contractors.
Please sir, try to use your good office to stop this injustice being done to the graduates of nigeria.
I shall be looking forward to your response, while thanking you for the good work you being doing for this great nation (NIGERIA).

Texaco Damage to diesel injection pump!

Diesel that was purchased back in July/Aug of 2007 was combined with regular gas from the pump. We thought just the tank need cleaned. So we poured out all the fuel and cleaned out the tanks. The truck wasn't driving much after that. However, when we did start using the truck again it started acting up. Upon taking the truck to Certified Power Systems in Salem Oregon, they determined that the injection pump was ruined due to the fuel we purchased at Texaco. We had to replace the injection pump and injectors. This bill came to $2483.18. I fill that Texaco needs to reimburse us for this bill. I will be taking this further if needed.

My debit card was cloned at one of your petrol stations at Salford service station, old field road, Salford, Manchester, m5 one by m53870833 t25583060. This happened on 20/7/2012 at 23.42. I have reported this to my bank, but you need to get this person before he does it to other people. He has no light at the front where you have to pay for the petrol. I could not see the card key pad for me to find the numbers when I put my card in. He firstly said that one of my card had been declined but in fact he cancelled it. Then asked for another card which has now been cloned at £2500. You must stop this happening to others. I am happy to talk about the whole experience

My Dealer service was recently closed due to the recession. I had a little road trip coming up and wanted to squeeze in an oil change and tire rotation while I found a new dealer to service my Jeep. What a big mistake I made. Do not go to Texaco XPress Lube. While I was sitting in the lobby they somehow bent my tie rod by either running something over or on the lift. I noticed slight wandering and a tilted steering wheel son my drive back to work that day. When I returned, they would not my complaint. Nothing! What kind of policy is that? They told me to go to a dealer and get an opinion on whether or not they caused the damage. So this is how Texaco Xpress Lube works. They make you site where you can't really see them working on your car, so if they damage it, you can't see it and then claim no responsibility. This is exactly how it played out in court. The judge said I had a good story and everything seemed legit, but the evidence was all circumstantial since no one actually witnessed the damage. They also gave the judge a different story in court than they gave me. They wouldn't let anyone who actually worked at the station that that day come to court. Suspicious yet? After going to my new Dealer Service, they also said the tires were rotated incorrectly. In court, Texaco XPress Lubes admitted they don't check tread depth and that the customer is always right. I AM NOT A MECHANIC! It appears that their employees aren't either, not a single one, and they just switch tires around. My dealer changed all the tires back free of charge w/out even asking me. I had two sets of warning lights coming on and $1000 in repairs after going to these guys. Texaco XPress Lube employees are barely trained amateurs, not mechanics. I took my car back and they denied any wrong doing and would not accept a complaint. Do not go to Texaco Xpress Lube. I'm sorry to report that I lost my small claims (I'm not good at playing lawyer), but that doesn't mean they aren't guilty--THEY GOT AWAY WITH IT! Texaco XPress Lube is the McDonalds of car care! Make sure you get your fries with your order.

The price for Unleaded petrol was advertised on neon sign visible from the main road as £1.29.9. With Deisel being marginaly more expensive. Thare are only two prices advertised on that sign.
At the pump I used there was only two options, One for deisel and one clearly marked Unleaded.
I filled my car at the pump with Unleaded and was shocked to find I had been charged £1.41.9 for my petrol. .
The attendant stated it was because I had used a SUPREME pump rather than the PREMIER pump! These words were written in very small writing on the pumps with no explaination as to what the difference is between the two!
The supreme pump is the first pump from the road and while I was compaining about this situation to the attendant another customer was outside making the very same mistake. This is clearly a diliberate attempt to mislead the public. It cost me about £12 - £14 more for my petrol would normally cost. The attendant stated this happens every day! I will be sending a copy of this to BBC WATCHDOG and I will post on my facebook page to warn people not to trust this company.

I'm sorry but this is not a genuine offer. Chevron does not make job approaches or offers in the way you describe.

If you are interested in possible job opportunities with Chevron please visit www.careers.chevron.com

Please also note the following alert on job offer scams:

Fictitious Job Offer Scam

Individuals will claim they are under contract with Chevron or a subsidiary to locate prospective employees for work on projects.

These offers usually are sent via email and will typically advise the victims they either have been hired by the company or may obtain employment with the company, and for a fee (the amount varies from $100 to as much as several thousand dollars), the individual will process the victim's employment papers, tender offers, job applications and work permits. Victims are usually requested to send their fees, via a personal check or a money order, to a post office box either in the United States or another country. In some instances, victims are promised or receive checks to cover relocation expenses. Such promises and/or checks are not made or generated by Chevron or in any way associated with Chevron.

This particular kind of activity is called Advance Fee Fraud or 419 Fraud. Chevron does not seek fees for securing positions with the company from either prospective employees or contractors. These are not legitimate Chevron job offers.

If you should receive such an offer, we ask that you report the matter to the police.
