The Allied Network dating agency is a HORRIBLE COMPANY!!! They scammed me completely; I'm now out thousands and they gave me horrible service. The Allied Network should be out of business now that I've found all of these complaints from other upset customers; how does this company stay in business???? Disgusting behaviour from them. I was vulnerable when I...

The Allied Network The Allied Network is a SCAM; BEWARE

The Allied Network dating service is horrible scam that should be brought to light for it's predatory practices. The Allied Network took advantage of me, and I am still in shock about how they could be so disgusting. I am an ordinary person, and I guess I wasn't thinking clearly, I've had a touch of desperation after my wife died of cancer. After over a year I've been hurting still but I've also been scared I'd never meet anyone else with my children and all, and how do you meet someone at this age? I just don't know how I suppose, but I'll have to learn. I guess I'm not the best looking man, but I'm not too bad looking either, lol. I think I do have alot to offer. I'm pretty quiet, but I'm a good person I treat people very well, and I've done alright in my life. It wasn't easy to go to a dating service but they made themselves sound so good and helpful and I thought I could really use the help. What a bad company this company turned out to be. I still can't believe the service I've been getting, it's been terrible. I have to call them because they don't call me. Every time I call there it sounds like a party going on, not like a business, and noone is ever available to talk to me I'm always told that they're on another call. Then noone ever calls me back. Every single time I have been given a new and different name as the new person that I should be speaking with; every single time. They're giving me the run around. I've never in my life experienced bad service to this degree, and I've been around for many years.
I had a first date from them who was quite the exact opposite of what they said she was - I actually could't believe how different she was from the description I got! This woman was very very religious, and I'm not at all a religious man which I told them clearly; she said to me that she thinks engineers are boring and I'm an engineer, she had told The Allied Network many many times that she's looking for someone who's adventurous, and I specifically told them that I'm not the adventurous type at all. I think they put names in a hat and pulled them out, that's how much it seemed like they paid attention to what both of us told them. For the money I paid, and for what their ads say and what that woman sold me, this is just terrible. It's just not right to do this to people. It's just not right. After that first attempt if you can call it that, at a set up from them, they dropped off the map. I haven't been able to speak to anyone and I'm tired of trying. I shouldn't have to call them! They should be calling me!
Because they were so off with the first set up I tried to go in to meet with the saleswoman I met with at first again, and they refused to meet with me again. I could never get the woman again on the telephone. So I went back to the building and they wouldn't let me in! The door was locked and a woman talked to me from an intercom, and she just wouldn't let me in. I was furious. The building looks so upscale, they appear so professional, but it's obviously all a front. I guess that's what these types of company's do; try to appear a certain way just to fool people. It's quite disgusting really I have to say.
In retrospect I should have investigated more before going to the company, but at that point in time I just never thought that a company in this line of work would be so dishonest. I guess I had more faith in human nature, I've never had this kind of experience before. After all of this with this particular company I now definitely know how low people will actually go for the buck.
I'm looking into a lawsuit nowbecause I've learned that they have a long list with the BBB, and they just shouldn't get away with this, they shouldn't get away with doing this to people, and they shouldn't get away with so much of my money. It might have been worth it had it been what they told me as a dating service for me, but with what I've experienced, it's a plain crime what they've done with my money.
BEWARE OF THE ALLIED NETWORK!

The Allied NEtwork is a ### sucking, money grubbing, lying cheating company. My friends father who is a widow and older, went to the Allied Network for dating because he didn't know how to meet someone else after his wife died. Without telling anyone because he was embarassed. They bilked the poor man for $5000, and he had to call them to beg them for a...

The Allied Network The Allied Network Complaint

The Allied Network is NOT a Christian dating service; I told them that I wanted someone who is a practicing Christian as they advertised themselves and then when it came to the service, none of the men they introduced me to were anywhere near practicing Christians. I had to add this to the truth of their service, again, the Allied NEtwork seems like a terrible scam and they should be ashamed of themselves.

The Allied Network The Allied Network Complaint A Dating Fraud

My friend and I went to The Allied Network for dating and matchmaking help and were sold a fraudulent service and contract. They smooth talk you and then the Allied Network contract is full of loopholes so they can say, sorry, that 'date' (that is nothing like they described or promised you) counts. Don't complain that you didn't get what you paid for and what we sold you, your loss.
They don't seem to care at all; they just wanted to legally and technically stick to their contract in keeping my money - I was literally yelled at by their unprofessional manager and staff, told that I was too old; this is great customer service? What I and my friend say about them after our experience...fraud, manipulative marketing and sales, to get people roped into their service based on image and nothing else...taking high fees for a service that is completely unprofessional and pathetic.
They should be out of business, and fast.

I have signed up with Allied Network in February, 09 to this day I never received a call back. I am actually a very attractive and high educated woman and at such I was given a discount fee, because I was potentially a good candidate. Yet after some many months they still can’t find me a date.
What a horrible dating service. What is surprising is that there have been some much complaints and nothing is being done about this situation

The Allied Network A Bad Company

I am SO angry! I gave it until this week; 3 chances after all of the promises. Well, enough is enough; they've proved themselves to be a terrible company and a sham making empty promises. Brutal.
I paid close to $5000 for nothing. Now, drained financially and emotionally, I just want my money back.! They didn't deliver what they promised, not even close. And I really only asked for the basics, reasonable requests, really. Well, I got set up with an alcoholic, and then a smoker - I'm a non smoker who asked for a non smoker. This isn't brain surgery.
I have no idea how they get away with this. I tried to give them another, and then another chance. This is brutal now, and now I'm pissed. Looks like I'm not the only one, this company should be out of business!.
I had a sinking feeling after my first conversation with 'the matching department' whatever that is, after my meeting with the saleswoman. I haven't even met with these people who are setting me up, and they've done such a bad job!. Like they're totally stabbing in the dark. I still can't get over this. It should be much easier than this. Not to brag, but I have alot going for me, just hadn't had luck in the bars, and I'm such a busy person. I thought hey, why not, it sounds like they could really hlep me. I can't believe the scam I fell into. I just straight up believed them.
Lawsuit indeed, I'm going to check out every avenue legally, small claimes, the BBB. I've had no success in trying to get a refund from them, and can't even get a manager to return my calls!
Stay away if you haven't joined! Cut your losses if you have.

I paid The Allied Network $840. on May 2/2010. They declared bankruptcy on July 23/2010. I was never provided the service I paid for. I want my money refunded! I have the receipt to attest to my claims. I am also in possession of the bankruptcy declaration.

When a company goes bankrupt, you have to get in line behind all the other companies and people it owes. You probably won't get anything back.

The Allied Network poor service/scam complaint

Wow, am I ever glad to have a venue to voice my complaint about The Allied Network. It seems as though there are many people who also feel they have been scammed by this terrible dating company. They really promised me so much, and after the contract was signed, and my very high fee went through, I couldn't get any of the service that they seemed to promise. I tried to go in to see the salesperson again, and could never get an appointment with her. And I actually couldn't get back into the building! Talk about a scam. The first date that they set me up with was so far from what I was looking for, and I didn't know or meet with the person who did the set up. I just felt and feel so lied to and taken. What a bad thing to do when in the dating/relationship/romantic service industry. They just didn't care at all after they got their money, and the price was so high. I was duped and I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone at all. I see that there is a lawsuit against the Allied Network in progress, and I've heard from another source now that the woman I think is a Susan Simpson. I think there is a way to contact her; I may get in on this. And/or the Better Business Bureau, and/or Small Claims Court. On the one hand I want to forget about this experience and move on, on the other hand I don't want them to get away with it, and maybe help others from also having to go through the same experience. What a waste of money and time and hope and energy. I could have done this with a better company. My conclusion for sure, they are scammers out for your buck and doing the bare minimum to meet the contract requirements, which has a ton of loopholes for them to get out of actually providing the service they promised. Complaint filed and hopefully heard for any potential customers to stay away from this 'Allied Network'. I also heard later (darn!) that there was a CBC expose piece on them. Seems they should be out of business, but not yet.

Jaimie...I know you are feeling so taken by this company and for emotional reasons walking away and forgetting about them seems like the best option. I strongly urge you to follow through and seek legal action! Do not let them get away for what they've done to you. You are not alone in this- there are thousands of members out there who have been lied to and manipulated. If people start to come together, they can make a change and this company can be brought down. Please, do everything you can to get justice for yourself and to fight this horrid company. It will be exhausting and it will take a lot of energy out of you, but you will come out on top. Come together with other members who have been lied to and taken advantage of and fight for what is right.

Good luck to you...please contact me if you wish...perhaps I could give you some information that might help you. ffsmb@live.ca
