On March 07, 2020 purchased above coffee table with a Warranty Protection for additional $26.96. On April 28, 2020 item was delivered. Shipping box was intact and not damaged. We opened shipping box and noticed immediately Coffee table was gouged, scratched and damaged. I contacted The Classy Home via email immediately and was offered $90 discount; which I refused. I stated I wanted a table that was not damaged. 48 hrs later I received a 2nd email offering me $165 and that I should hire a Handy Man to fix the issues. I replied I would not even buy a piece of furniture damaged like this no matter what the Discount. I requested a full Refund, to which, next email was to contact the Warranty Company. I have left Voice Mails which have been ignored. I emailed them my dissatisfaction. At every level I requested that a Supervisor call me. On May 04, 2020 I contacted Bank who advised me they would reach out to The Classy Home, I would have to return The damaged item and send proof of mailing it back and once The Classy Home received the item they would Refund my purchase price. The cost of shipping was $281.73. I sent item back to The Classy Home with signature receipt required. I still had to contact BBB and supply all copies before getting Refund. I am confident that The Classy Home deliberately sent a damaged item, knowing all too well that either way customers will either accept damaged goods rather than pay for return shipping. I am confident this company will send this item to another Customer.
