United Legal Investigation Bureau Collections/ Telephone Fraud

What is very scary to me is that a lot of these comments are from over a year ago and these people are STILL out there doing this. I got the SAME call today, and also about 3 months ago from these people. "Officer Shane Williams" called and left a voicemail regarding a "very serious legal matter regarding my SSN" I already knew this was a scam, so I called back to get as much information as possible. They told me my account/case number and said there were 3 serious legal criminal actions that would be taken against me. 1) Bank Fraud, 2) Collateral Check Fraud, and 3) Criminal theft. According to him I got an internet cash loan and never repaid it. This is all false. The way these fools actually get your information is if you have ever entered your information to GET a cash loan. That is how they know absolutely everything about you. Sad to say, yes at one time I did fill out the form on the internet, but did not actually accept any funds. So this company buys a list of people that have applied and then use these scare tactics to try to get money out of them. There is SO much illegal about how they operate I could never detail it all. They are representing themselves as officers of the law or court - They are NOT. They are trying to collect on fraudulent debt using harassment and scare tactics. Unfortunately, the reason they all have such thick indian accents is because they are calling from india, and it is hard to shut down an international call center where they do not recognize and enforce the same collection laws that we do. If you get this call, laugh at the person like I did and tell them to bring it on, you would love to see some PROOF, delivered via proper legal channels and you will be happy to meet them in court any day. Not being scared confuses them... they will usually stop calling after that.

I received an email from them telling me I owe them almost $1.000. I emailed back asking for proof of the loan and they told me that all the records had been seized and I needed to go to the "court house", dispute the case and get a notice sent to them so they can release the records...Uh, didn't you just say they had been seized? I emailed back asking what courthouse, city and state, what's the case number etc. Of course if you call the number on the email it is always busy, even at 2 a.m. I'm just waiting to see what scare tactic they come up with next.

I received an email from these people as well, making the same threats! What really freak's me out is they have apparently have my
SSN. They need to continued to be exposed for their unscrupulous collection practices. If you get their phone calls or emails ask them to prove it!

I have received emails from these people threatening to download my case to the courthouse. They allege that I have received a payday loan in the amount of $300 that I have not repaid. I responded requesting details of the loan and confirmation of receipt of the funds by the bank. Their response was "The company have more than 14 technical evidence in order to prove the money was successfully deposited into your bank account with ..." I have asked them again to provide details of the loan, a copy of the contract, and proof that the monies were sent and received by what bank and into which account. Their response was "Kindly let us know are you willing to resolve this matter out of the court house or we should proceed further with the legal charges against you. Once this case will be downloaded against you then we won't be able to help you out." This is crazy. They issue threats but will not provide you with any information. I believe these are the same people I have received several calls from. However, whenever you begin asking them questions they get angry and begin yelling more threats and hang up.

I received an email from these people today. Its amazing how our American leaders will let this ### happen. I am a hard working country boy trying to overcome a near death injury and support a family of four on workmens comp wages. I have applied for one loan through my bank and never again have i applied for anything else other than a credit card. Now i get thousands of emails from people trying to offer me money and I was advised not to fall into that trap so I didnt. I listened to my buddies and have stayed faithful to the Lord cause I know he will get me through this. Hard working Americans su h as myself shouldnt have to worry about people from India or other piece of ### immigrant countries using my information when Im not the one who gave it to them. God bless the USA cause there aint no way Im going to pay India today.ju

United Legal Investigation Bureau Harassing Calls

Shawn/Sean called me from [protected] ext 1048, United Legal Investigation Bureau. I looked up the "company" and found that this is a SCAM, so now I am reporting it. The call came in to my work voice mail and he asked for a name similiar to mine, but not mine exactly. Before I called back, I did a little research, which is why I am posting today.

They called me again today. I called the police this time. I told them I was going to the police and they said I was a fraud.. ha ha... The police said I should probably call the FBI about this. I recommend you do so too. It would be nice to get a lawsuit against these idiots.
