Bad customer service
Last year from Virgin I bought the Audio Technica turn table, a semi profession table, and since then slowly been building up my vinyl record collection. Most of the records I've purchased have been from Virgin in Al Ain, last week i bought two LP's, when playing one of the records, side one track 1 and 2 the needle jumped, side two was fine as was the other LP, so i took it back to the Al Ain store to ask for an exchange it and if possible to exchange it for the same LP, they then proceeded to "test" the LP by putting it on a cheap little plastic player to be told "there's nothing wrong with it" the fact they were playing side two which i told them was ok the needle didn't jump didn't seem to matter to them, there mind was made up "nothing wrong", there attitude and manner then changed and was simply disgraceful, made me feel i was in the wrong, wanting something for free or trying to cheat them out of I don't know what, I had the receipt and wanted the same LP, just one that didn't jump on my system and since this is the only one that jumps it had to be the LP, did they get that concept, No.
Eventually after slightly heated debate they offered to replace it, however I haven't collected it yet as i swore i will not shop in any Virgin store again especially Al Ain Virgin.
scratched screen tv 4k lg
i bought lg 4k tv from virgin megastore in egypt cairo mall of arabia branch, the guy there opened the box and i saw the screen rapidly and it was ok, after i bought it and connected it i found deep scratch at the top of the screen where i couldnt possibly see at store, i returned it to the store after only 6 hours from buying to replace it, mr islam momen the manger there refused to replace it and accused me that this scratch maybe my fault, i told him to open a new tv box and that it is impossible for a customer to see this scratch unless he checks the edges of 49 inch screen, he even refused to show me a new tv box but mr. ahmed ismail kindly opened a new box and i showed him how impossible for a customer to check this scratch, the summary that they refused to replace it or refund it, what shall i do ?
sending used LED screen instead of the newly bought one
I have bought a Samsung screen from Virgin Megastore Arab Mall Egypt yesterday and the representative signed the warranty card for it and I left it at the store to be sent to me the next day as it is so big to fit in my car (Series 6 55 inch model 6200). Surprisingly they sent me another USED one probably the one that was in the display I figured out that this wasn't the one I bought as the RC package was open having scratches on the remote and no batteries included and the warrenty was not filled (still blank). I contacted the branch i bought from and they tried to fool me then they confessed that this was not the one I bought and they will send me mine the next day. I really feel so sad that this happens in Virgin Megastore and this really ruins the big name of Virgin to have such acts. I need a compensation for all what happened and need to see that the responsible for this has been punished. MY number is [protected]
The branch manager contacted me offering me replacement with a new one and giving me extra 3d glasses does this seem sufficient?
I guess they should replace my screen with a better one that will be satisfactory to me
