Webster Flea Market Fake designer handbags sold

My Partner and I and our Best Friend visited a Flea Market in Webster on either Market Blvd or Market Street..I don't know the actual name of it, but it's only open on Mon. and it closes at 3pm..anyway we found several vendors selling "designer" handbags..I located a Prada handbag I fell in love with..at the time I had no clue as to how to tell a real Prada from a fake Prada so I relied on the Vendors honesty (I'll never do that again) after picking out a purse I asked if it was genuine and a Oriental Man and a young Oriental Girl both said "yes"..they wanted only $35 that should have been my first clue..I offered them $25 he countered with $30 I said $27 then he said $28 so I happily agreed and left with my "genuine Prada" the next day I came home and looked online how to tell a real Prada from a fake and what I read broke my heart..my handbag was a fake in every way..I have no doubt ALL handbags from all of those vendors are fake..I still love the style and look of the purse so I will carry it, but deep down I know the truth..Please, if you go to any Flea Markets to buy such merchandise find out how to tell the real thing from the fake so you wont get taken too! Avoid that Oriental couple at all costs..the sad thing is I believe another Vendor was trying to warn me while I was looking at the purses..I didn't hear what he said, but the Oriental guy ran him off real fast! I have turned them in to the FBI how I hope they get what they deserve

if you are shopping for a handbag at a flea market then your plain dumb. Who seriously thinks you are going to find a Prada bag at Flea Market for even 60.00. Your just stupid you deserve to stick with handbags sold at walmart.

I found most of these posts interesting and I agree with most. Totally agree if you think you are going to get a genuine Prada or Coach or any other designer bag that is authentic for cheap then you are sadly mistaken. I hate that some vendors continue to lie but you the flea market visitor need to be wiser. You are never going to find authentic shoes or handbags at a Flea market. I own a handbag store and yes at one time I did sell replicas...sold tons of them and each person who bought them knew it was a replica not the real deal. I have signs posted because I believe honestly is the best policy. I don't sell them anymore due to street vendors and flea markets. However, I see very wealthy people in my shop and carrying the designer bag and guess what some are real and some are not...who cares?

Shame on the person who lied to the orginal poster but seriously you were very naive to think they were real. For anyone wanting to call the FBI well if you have the time go ahead but like another poster said really with whats going on in this world you want to go after a person trying to make a living in a flea market. Get a life!

Be warned if it sounds to good to be true then it probably is...buyers be aware! And if you are a seller for heavens sake be honest or it will bite you in the tush!

Wow! name calling over a fake purse ...if you go to a mechanic and tell him your engine is not running rt and he tells you it's fixed and it isn't ?what does that make him a liar a thief because he took your money ?don't be to quick to judge people the person who bought that purse knew it was not real especially when the lady had tons of purses for the same price ..he was not a fool to buy the purse. He thought and he knew it was not real or he would not have got on internet and checked for real design..but the person that sold the purse lyied to him that was wrong ..he would have bought it any way because it was worth it ..

If the purse is $27 obviously it's not real. Be happy that at least you got to buy something you would probably otherwise never be able to afford. Don't you have anything better to do than complain? People like you need to shove your stupidity and boredness up your tight a**.

I bought my fake prada purse in mexico for $30.00 and I love it! I know it's fake but nobody else does, most people can't afford a prada so they assume it's real. I get compliments all the time and I just smile and say thanks! I would never spend $1000 on a real one, that just pays for my next trip to mexico to get another fake handbag!

Why did you even post a comment here about that prada purse not being real, when anyone who knows prada knows that is a high designer name and not a name brand sold in Wal-Mart? See you just want attention, because you know Damn well you would never get a prada purse for $35, or $350 for that matter, then yoou went on to say you still carry it! ### please sit down and stup up! that fake $28 prada purse you got is probably the closest you will ever get to the real thing so enjoy and stop wasting your time looking to exspose these people selling these bags when you need to really be exsposing yourself!

Webster Flea Market Bad service

Yesterday I went to a Flea market in Webster Florida it's only open on Mon. and closes at 3pm..it's on Market street or Market blvd. or something like that..anyway I went there and found several vendors sellings designer handbags or so I thought..I chose a Prada bag I fell in love with..I asked this little Oriental Guy and Girl behind the counter if they were authentic and they both said "yes" at the time I had no idea how to tell the difference..I guess my first clue should have been, when I asked how much? and he said "$35"..I said I'll give you $25 he said "$30" I said $27 then he countered with "$28" so I said ok $28..I came home happy I had a "real Prada" today I came online and asked how could I tell the difference..my heart broke..first there was loose threads inside..second no serial numbers either inside the bag or outside no coa either..the designer insignia was too big and the lettering was all wrong and the biggest telling thing of all Prada was not stitched throughout the lining..I should have known something was up when I opened the bag and looked inside they both cringed as trusting as I am I thought they were afraid I'd grab the purse and run, but not all was lost I may not own a real Prada, but I do still love the design and shape of the bag so I will carry it..I just want everyone to know Lily's Lucky Handbags Corp. sells fake designer handbags!

i enjoyed the restaurant at webster verry much. the only real compaint i have is that i feel the parking is turning into a scam.when i got their much of the parking was taken. im new to this flea market so have to learn the layout.im elderly and dont get around verry well.so i parked acrost the street at the dollar general.their were no cARS THEIR. AND NO SIGHN WHERE I PARKED.ON RETURNING I DICOVEREDmy vehicle had been towed. dollar general said they had it towed.the cost 200 dollars. they do not take credit cards.im limping, no vehicle, no phone no money. i remember a lady with a money belt looking at me when i parked.im thinking weebster gets paid for parking, dollar general gets a share from pro car the tow service.hmmm. idont know just guesin, what do you think. i think i be verry carful where i park and will advise all elderly and snow birds to do the sale. i also think dollar general has gotton their last dollar from me. and im going to miss that restaurant. two ladies took pity on this old white hared and gave me a ride to the place my car was towed. i cant thank you enough. oh yes i will pay it forward. thank you.

It's a flea market -- you never expect "new" from a flea market they are second run items that's why they are bargains - go to Saks or Macys if you want 1st quality -- you are just upset someone put something over on you instead of the other way around

All sellers should strive for customer satisfaction. makes the flea market look bad. i know the people that run it for years and they're great people. i used to set up there a lot until i moved. that's a really nice flea market. i hate getting ripped. i've gotten ripped myself. I've had people put tags over broken places. customers have a certain amount of trust in the sellers. you don't exploit that. they're out having a good time. they picked webster and they picked your space. they saw something you had that they wanted. we need to do better.

well now, i think it's a shame that you find a customer stupid and ignorance is no excuse. The sellers job is to take care of the customer. First of all they lied telling her its real. She says she didn't know. Seller should help her understand, be knowledgeable about their product and teach her. That customer will come back if you're honest and treat them right. Don't put it on the customer. All the responsibility lies on the seller.

Bought what's called pillow in a bag off of two Asian, they had a pillow out off the bag, those real heavy foam pillows with the small holes in them. Pillow had a zipper so you could see the actual foam.its in a round bag has bamboo written on the bag and on the pillow. Paid $25.00 for it Didn't take it out until I got home. What a shock. You could see were they had taked the stitching out, the pillow was lumpy like it had cut up foam in it, as the thing swelled it became overly large and hard. My husband was made wanted to take it back the next Monday, in gas it would of eat up what the pillow costed and then you have no receipt because the Asians don't have one to give how convenient why, because there are more than one place at this flea market that are selling them so all they have to do is claim they were not the ones that sold it to us. Today January1st i decided to take the pillow apart and see what was inside, there wasn't large chunks of pieces of foam there were millions and millions of pieces of foam thanks a lot for making my day miserable.buyers beware. It want happen again, if I can't see it and hold it out of the package it came in I'm not buying it

What? Are you stupid? First of all the people behind the counter were Asian- NOT- Oriental. Oriental describes a rug. Second, l you are at a FLEA MARKET not Saks, duh! Third, have you not heard, "If it sounds to good to be true it probably is" Grow up!
Tired of truly stupid people.
