World Wide-Soft.com fraudalent security tool

like everyone else in their complaints, my computer was taken over by a rogue virus where i had no control of the computer. it told me my computer was infested with a list of viruses and the only way out was to buy their antivirus system. i signed up just to shut off their program and get control of my computer.
they put a charge for norton internet security into my credit card and i had to call my company and get a new credit card. i am now contesting the charge and am sending the company copies of these pages regarding worldwide-soft.com and their fraudalent schemes. i would sugest you do the same.
also contact the INTERNET CRIME COMPLAINT CENTER AT
http:///www.ic3.gov for info and a complaint form to FBI AND OTHER GOVERNMENT AGENCIES.

For the 2nd time, a bogus charge has appeared on my bank staement via my debit card from MOSCOW. like so many of you, Security Tool came through my antispy, antivirus program. It was an agonizing effort but I finally got it off my computer: paid $179.00 +49.99 for spyware doctor. (I cancelled it after the 3 days due to the hassle using it). It took an entire 3 days, and many calls to PC Tools; then I ran Systems Mechanic (bought at W'mart) on my computer and...finally, i can breathe again. this was a very unexpected assault. Hope this helps someone else.

Please everybody go back and read what "topher87110" said to do. I called the number and I spoke to this rep named Paul. The scenario played out exactly the way "topher" said it would. The wait for someone to pick up is painful, but once they come on, they ask for the first 6 and last 4 of your card number and he told me that it would take 5 to 10 business days for it to come back on my card. I called them on this past Tuesday and my money has already been credited back to my account. Make sure y'all call that number! It's most definitely worth the time. Just in case here's the number again: [protected].

Yes the same thing happpended to me. This came out like it was a virus and i tried to get rid of the program but I couldn't. So I installed it to get rid of it and my computer. It looked liked a window vista but it was't. It worked okay until I did some reasearch and found out it was a scam to but there program. I had someone look at my computer and now it has a virus from this company. So now I have to reprogram the whole computer. I called the company and they said the would refund me but they have yet too. There number is [protected]. So now I am filing a dispute and getting my attorney involved. The charges came from Russia. Do not fall for this!

I called the number suggested by ghostrider1111
call [protected], you may be on hold for awhile, but please stay on the line.
You will talk to an agent, explain the situation, and they say they will refund back the full amount to your card, or account.
They will ask you for the first six number and last four of your credit card, they are not affiliated with this company.
I also got a confirmation number from them, and the web site address of the company that is charging us.
The web site address is www.soldierantivirus.com. It is the actual website adress. I hope this information is helpful to all of you like me, that were ripped off.

I have also been a victim of this sham. I have been working all day to try and get this crap off of my computer. It is a real headache. I contacted the following number for a refund...[protected]. I talked to some foreign guy who stated that he would refund my card in three days. He also stated that the program would remove itself in the next update cycle. That hasn't happened yet and I cancelled my credit card. As far as I could see, the virus has a pretty good handle on the entire computer once it gets in. For the life in me, I can't figure out how it got through McAfee?

If anyone figures out how to get ride of this crap let us all know!

Security Tools, a supposed antivirus program took over my computer. I could not get rid of it. It over ran my already installed antivirus program. It makes you forcibly purchase it. When I saw the Merchant name as World_widesoft.com and the cost $1509 and some change I cancelled it and called my bank. The system keeps saying it is trying to use my credit card and my computer is not acting correctly.

Help me get my computer back in working order.

Thanks

World Wide-Soft.com Internet Virus Tool

I was surfing the internet on 02/26/2010 when a program popped up and stating my computer was at risk for viruses. I kept trying to close the windows but it wouldn't close. So I bought the tool and the windows closed. I have no address or phone number to contact the company and I am sure it is a scam. Has anyone else experienced this?

The same thing happend to me on 3/18/10 and my computer got infected with a virus and lost all my files. These people are disgusting. This really makes me angry that we work hard for our money and then some jerk sits behind a computer waiting for it's next victim. Someone needs to put a stop to this.

Ripped off by infecting your computer and then selling you the security tool to remove it! What a shame I fell for this trap and lost $51.48 on March 22, 2010.

The bank won't reverse charges pass 60 days beware and on the look-out for this and report it a.s.a.p.
